Owned exactly the same car and colour few years ago traded her for a Mk3 RS but the ST3 was a absolute brilliant car in every way!! Loved every moment of ownership and your looks lovely also 👍👍👍 100% recommend this for any hot hatch enthusiast ❤
Thanks for the feedback Craig! They're much much better than you would expect! Engine is really strong and front end is lovely. ST3 comes absolutely loaded too. Even the leather is top grade!
Owned a vanilla 2006 Focus ZX4 for 5 years & wondered if Ford made a performance version since I was also a past Mustang V-8 owner but needed a more practical car that could still be fun to drive. Bought a 2017 ST1 3 months ago in Kona Blue and I love it. Mustang like power when I want it, the ability to carry more than a duffle bag and great gas mileage for the performance it has puts a smile on my face everyday.
Had a Mk2 a few years ago and loved it, despite the fact it needed a bit of work, I keep looking at getting another quick car I can drive as a daily but nothing seems to be as good value for money as the Ford Focus ST.
Fair review that, torque steer, yep plenty of that on the ST 😂 (I have an ST3) I'm sure I noticed the smile on your face getting bigger as the video progressed. It's a great car for the money 👍
I'll need to watch it back to see that smile! lol That being said, I've always seen these as totally underrated. A brilliant car for the money for sure!

Mazda too ( heated windscreen) They were owned by Ford too though 😂 I had one on my Mazda 3 mps I loved that car was of the most underrated hot hatches ever .
Yeah, the Mazda MPS range were pretty cool. the 3 had a fancy viscous diff too I'm sure. Shame the early ones carried the burden of the huge tax which made them almost unsellable
Hi there, absolutely great channel! On my r53 JCW mini 2005 I have a electric heated window, it was part of the chilli pack I believe so maybe not just fords?! Thanks
I’ve always fancied having one of these because you can pick them up cheap nowadays but I’m always concerned about their reliability. I’ve not heard great things
@@JamesGlenCarSales1982 auto trader mentioned models prior to 2019 have some build quality issues, electric issues and engine etc. if it’s not entirely true then that’s good. Sometimes these magazines can go overboard
Those FK2s are mega things. I'd probably take one over the Focus ST if I'm honest. We have another Euro R just now (blue one) and it's a brilliant car to drive
@JamesGlenCarSales1982 Had to come off the motorway and drive in town for a while, back on the motorway I'm at 73.6 and it's creeping up again, and it's Orange 🍊 best colour.
I had one 5 years ago .loved it .I picked up another one yesterday! So happy with it ..a lot of fun to drive
Such a great package, and feel much quicker than the numbers suggest. Enjoy the new ST !

They're a great car, and that says something that its enough to entertain, even after a V8 Mustang!
Just got a 2017 st2. My first proper car and I love it. Would've liked the st3 but just a little over my price range still an amazing car
You'll thoroughly enjoy it JustQ! Have a blast in the new car :)

Brilliant cars and lovely colour which changes in different light.
Yeah, very under rated imho. That colour is amazing, and always sells straight away.

Thanks Isaac! Have you seen the R53 video on the channel? I have a 280hp R53 track car

Really? We've always seen them as pretty much bomb proof? What have you read that lets them down Chris?

Great review! 👍
Thanks for the feedback Jmy! Really appreciated 👍
Ford have the copyright on the heated front screen, but i think it runs out soon.
Yeah, thats what we thought! Great addition to any car
I once had a Sierra with a heated front screen and went through 3 batteries in 6 years as I used it mainly for short journeys.
owned a cl7 accord euro r good cars got a fk2 civic type r now but wouldve bought a mk3 st if i couldnt get a ctr in budget

On the face-lift model the engine noise comes through the speakers. You can delete this.
one of the most unwelcomed features on modern cars, don't you think !
Relly enjoyed this, I see it's reserved now. :(
Hi Chr15b, thanks for the feedback 👍 I did mention in the video how quick they sell! This one was no exception!
I've got the diesel version stage 2 with 240hp and 531nm
Just had 80.5 mpg
That's serious MPGs!

Very underated car lots for your money
No so understated in this colour, but I get what you mean Louis 👍
