@@andrzejkrzeminski3270 I bought my ST2 in November of last year. Got it with 14k on the clock and I still love every drive I have in it. It is very stiff from standard, but you get used to it after a week😂
Great review! On recent highway trips, I've gotten 33 US mpg/39.63 UK mpg. Always pleasantly surprised on a tour. Around town, though, I average 24.5 US mpg/ 29.4 UK mpg. All with a stage 1 tune maxing at 24.5 lbs/1.69 bar of boost. Definitely recommend a bigger intercooler over stock to minimize heat soak and thus timing pull by the ecu.
My mums partner has a what we think is a remapped ST-2 we dont know the power and torque but its immense for a petrol engine and doesn't feel that much less than my Grandads 435d, it might even be quicker. It also has the intake like this one so you can hear the turbo.
I have a ‘17, base, with the good wheels and light seats, I don’t carry anybody me and the old lady, tons of room with rear seats out and 6 t45 bolts, light as hell. Prob best daily and autocross car ever. Im second owner from a full service history only commuting, 115k miles and runs like it’s new!
I have own both st and rs. If you live a place where it is always good weather st is good. But if you live a place like I where there are snow on road half of year and it sometime rains rs is definitely much better because of awd. And it is so fun to drift on snow 🤩
I have a small favor to ask that means the world to me. My car needs fixing, and I was hoping you might be able to help. Your expertise would make a huge difference, and I would be incredibly grateful.
I have a 2017 one mate with no camera either. Just the rear sensors. Seen a few for sale with a camera but they’re of all ages, some older and some newer than mine. It would be nice I suppose but doesn’t bother me too much, if a person can’t reverse with just mirrors and sensors then they shouldn’t be driving 😂 Love mine though. Belting car. Had to laugh when the bloke said about the hard suspension, always have to rearrange my spine if I go over a sharp speed bump haha
It’s a forgotten car and it shouldn’t be.. I have the exact car and mapped … brilliant driving experience like he says
hey Rich, i am SERIOUSLY considering buying it, 2017 version, since i hate those new eco shites....would you recommend?

I own a mk3, and i find myself getting behind everyone on the highway because of how good it handles. Quick car.

Brilliantly explained so underated, I have a focus st 3 2018 one of the last made. mapped 290bhp and 400 nm torque.great fun but torque steer crazy.😂
I have the ST3 with all the extras, including the sunroof. The sunroof really brightens up the very black interior.
Would you say the sony speakers are worth getting for someone looking to buy one?
If you lift the rear bottom seats and remove the back headrests, you can have a flat boot floor
After 18 years with Ford Focus Mk1 diesel, I want to buy ST , but estate version. Thanks for great review:)
One ov the best cars I’ve owned tbh, just a joy to drive 👍
Feel privileged to own one such a great car and it won’t break the bank 😊

Great video👍 I’m a fan of the unique design of the exhaust
It was designed to look like a tie fighter from Star Wars. The designer was a Star Wars fan.
A true urban rally machine
Great car, fantastic video 👍

Looking to set up for autocross, and need some good chassis upgrades and wheel/tires if anybody has any! Power in the ST is great as is to start.
Getting some body roll rears out dead stock
I managed a 4.11 30-70 in my mk2 ST, suprised myself!
Every body forgetting that you can actually have a flat floor when you lift the back seat bottoms and remove the headrest
I still can’t believe how that X6 40i is staying so high on the leaderboard
That B58 is something else!

Surprising the amount of car reviewers comment on 'scratchy' or 'cheap' interior plastic - never bothered me tbh 😅

A Few Mod's These are as Good as a RS Love Me ST 3
My brother had a St and it was crazy fun
I have a 2016 ST-3 but it has rear parking camera. Surprised yours had the rear parking sensors only?

@@DannyKeogh94 Same here, and it's great when I take a passenger in it for the first time, they do comment that 'your car's a bit firm, isn't it?' 🤣🤣
Optional extra I have a 18 ST3 with only reverse sensors 🤔
If you hold traction off for 5seconds it turns everything off?…
My pumaspeed stage 3 st diesel has 580nm and 279 bhp, 48 mpg around town too, 50 to 75 the standard diesel st is 2 seconds faster than petrol st.
🤔............😂🤡
@@Beastnappyyeah my thoughts exactly bud lol 😂
Yeah but it’s a diesel lol
@thomashudson3693 Same looks same power,
Twice as many miles, diesel or not.
Test your 30-70 time
There isn’t a blind spot on left side 🤦🏻♂️
And mine has blind spot lights in the glass.
If you want a fun car you buy a focus or fiesta st more smiles per miles
The ford I have pushes 13-15 lbs of boost and it flys makes the 0-60 3 seconds
Definitely not as fun as a fiesta st
it’s close but the fiesta st is definitely more fun yeah.
