- This is the first of our P&O Iona Cruise Ship Vlogs, and in this P&O Iona vlog, we will explain the preparation we had to do before we went on the cruise.
This was our first time onboard the P&O Iona Cruise Ship, in fact, it was our first time sailing with P&O Cruises, but you'll have to wait for the coming weeks to find out how we got on onboard the P&O Iona, where over the coming weeks, we will bring you our P&O Iona Cruise Diaries, A P&O Iona Cruise Ship Overview, a review of the new Nicole Scherzinger show, Schhh and much much more.
In this P&O Iona vlog though, we will be explaining how the online checking in process works, how to pre book the shows and speciality restaurants onboard the P&O Iona and much more.
As well as useful information of what you need to know before you go on your cruise, we will give you a little teaser for the coming weeks P&O cruises vlogs, with footage from our P&O Cruises Northern Europe Cruise.

Postcard & A Pint was thought up by my partner, Rachel & myself, Wills one day while taking our daily 1 hour exercise during the lockdown of 2020. All of a sudden, we were spending more time together, not working 6 or 7 days a week in the arts industry, and binge watching travel programs, and we were actually really enjoying it, and it made us re-evaluate what was important in life for us. Now back to working 6 or 7 days a week again, with very little time off, our happy time is getting out there on our brief times off together and making short travel videos that we are now sharing with you. A great way to travel- a hotel on the ocean waves. So much to do on board while underway to the places to visit. Food looks yummy. Great itinerary. Rotterdam is a great place to visit. Really appreciated… Watching this will really help us prepare for our Iona trip in May …Watching someone else navigate the complexity of P&O is reassuring. It’s not just Us!! It’s a complete contrast with the simplicity of Marella. Hilarious about Sketchers being pretend shoes … Si does the same and hopes he doesn’t get rumbled ! And formal nights are not us either … Si’s Misfits T Shirt was definitely not going to get him into dining areas not even on Halloween. Your videos are such fun … One day we will be this good ! Wow! never booked a cruise before,what a minefield to book.this video is amazing for people like me,who have not been on a cruise before.Ended up giving the dashcam to my daughter to review for me,as gave me a head ache.love rach face with the schh drink.Your so like me,i love a bargain,and these sort of videos are amazing,and you both done a stellar job of explaining everything.
Like i go abrad 2 times a year,but now got a puppy it is a nightmare!.yes the internet on board is a nightmare,when i go on the ferries i always use the free hour then dont bother with the rest.But i get what wills said on a long cruise,it nice to have the comfort blanket of ringing home when you want to.Proud of the both of you,i always thought you was both amazing,but you just get better and better mega hug debs xx ps your a couple of 💎💎pps my daughter stuck all my shorts up,she's like mummy need get with the times lol.

Cruises can be a great value, Rachel and Wills! Here in the US, if you're already in Florida they make a great value too! From other parts of the US you have to add in the price of travel to get to Florida. That being said we've never taken one. We have done all inclusive clubs and find them a great value too. I'd find the app quite confusing. I also think we'd just stick with the included food, show's, etc. Probably add on an excursion or too. Have fun/Hope you had fun! We'll be looking for more. Yes, we've seen some great deals from Miami or Ft Lauderdale - just gotta get there!! We tried a few extras, gotta do it for the viewers!! The food that was included thought was good and there was no need to go outside of it! Cheers for watching both xxx🍻

Well we thought there for a minute we could have added time travel to your list of you tube talents!😂. Great idea to add in a sneak peak of your holiday to this pre cruise vlog 👌. Wow, that really is a bargain price considering everything that's included 😮👍. Wifi and drinks packages are pricey, will be interesting to know if you live to regret the pay as you go beers 🍻😂. Ooh the food looks delicious 😋. To be honest, i (Shell) absolutely love planning every detail of our holidays, but then Pete and i are not at all spontaneous, we have to have a plan 😂🙈. Ah, good old Pensioners and Oldies cruises. 😂 We looked at a couple of cruises from here in Melbourne (with P&O) and the WiFi charges are horrendous. They really are having a laugh. Having said that we did sign up for their newsletter for deals and some of the specials are pretty good. The food doesn't half look good on your boat too. Shame about the formal get up. I'm with you, formal gear belongs in the 20th Century. Speedos and Iron Maiden tees it is. I'm not really one for budgie smugglers though so it is boardies and Iron Maiden for me. Coincidently I was in Kmart tonight and I had an Iron Maiden tee in my hands and I nearly bought it. I still might. Looking forward to seeing what high sea high jinks you get up to. Cheers Shane. It was a complete mix age wise, so not a golden oldies cruise. It was a great week, although it rained a lot!! Yep wifi was a lot, but it did work well and we used it a lot. Just stating that Wills has never ever worked budgie smugglers, not even for a laugh, so I've no idea where that came from????? An interesting dream 🤣, but yes Iron Maiden T-shirts - oh he has a lot of those! Get yourself back to K mart and get that shirt bought! Cheers 🍻

We went to limelight beach house and olive grove last week
Ah we went to both of those too. We thought Debra Stevenson was excellent. We only had a starter on the olive Grove as we didn't get in til 3pm. You'll have to watch our upcoming diary vlogs, you might catch yourselves in them!!

One of you could buy the internet and the other could tether to the device signed in .. saves money
Plus if internet deal comes cheaper you can cancel original booking and rebook at cheaper rate

@@PostcardAndAPintyeah you can get even the basic package and either share the login so one device can use at a time or if both want to be in can tether mum tethered to me and it worked the essential package even allowed me to watch videos so didn't need to pay extra for ultimate

You don't have to dress for formal night, haven't done this on last 6 cruises, only approximately 50% of passengers do dress up, there are still plenty of areas of ship you can access. Going by last cruise a lot of passengers ignoring dress code were in venues that had dress code restrictions

@@Clairewy Bremen on our own! It was a lovely city, I just wish they'd given us longer there. The ship was overnight, yet the tour only gave us 3 hours x

Yep, we saw that a few weeks back! Our vid is already out of date!!!
OMG. They charge for every little thing? I’ve only taken the Disney 4 day cruise but it as all you could eat and all the soft drinks and beer you could drink all included. Hard liquor was charged.
They reel you in with the price and to be honest you could do the full week for that price. We wanted to try some extras to show people for the channel. It was brilliant value. We've never cruised Disney. Sounds fun! 🍻

We got a full refund from P&O and then booked the Bremen one whilst on board. X

Guys, I hate to say it but I watched the video again and the entertainment there looks terrible. However, for under 500 pounds you can’t beat it.
