The 11th century cathedral was so beautiful and with so much interesting history here, no wonder its a UNESCO site . The houses in the oldest district are so pretty too, wonderful architecture there. Bremen is a very picturesque place and we did wonder why there was animal in the sewers 😂 that’s a great story! Yay a Christmas shop, or two! Mrs Claus is a little questionable 🤨 The Beach house meal looked nice! Wow the pool and jacuzzi to yourselves, perfect! Wit Woo you two scrub up nice for grub at the Captain’s table! Bremen historic centre was just lovely, very storybook, now I know where all those illustrators get their ideas! I'm impressed that you actually went into the outdoor pools, as the ultimate 'hothouse petunia' I don't even dip a toe in the water unless the temperature is 35 degress (yes Celcius!) or above. I hate the cold!
It's a stunning city which we thought looked like loads of panto sets from shows we've worked on! We're slowly coming around to cold water swimming, it's really invigorating! Like you we've always been a swim is just for a hot day - but as we don't get too many of those in Wales, the cold water swim does have a refreshing appeal! Cheers for watching 🍻

Sometime you have to roll with the punches! Oh my the coins for animal sounds...that has got to be the only place in the world! Amazing the narrow streets and walkways. I'd be perfectly satisfied with this diversion. For me a cruise is a time to not have to worry about much of anything, especially preparing meals...and making my bed! lol

I 💯 agree on Greatest day, every time a great take that song started it stopped with annoying chat, we love take that and it was ruined, a take that tribute would have been far better. Also totally agree a lot of restaurants on Iona and arvia have no identity, chef’s table and beach house is basically is buffet with table cloths. Great vlog cheers 🍻
Ah thank you. Hamburg was the one port we hadn't taken too, but we were looking forward to our tour (I'm sure we'd have loved Hamburg!). Bremen was beautiful and we loved our time there. Yes, on Marella we had a Gary Barlow tribute fly on, he was great and the entire audience were up dancing by the end, which is what I think people want on a 1 or 2 week cruise. The cast went for it, but it was just dull! Cheers for watching 🍻

We love collecting Christmas ornaments from our travels. We've filled a wreath and are now starting a new one. With regards to the ship, as it was a cold cruise, everyone was inside, so we found it more crowded than the Marella ship. We did always manage to find quiet spots though - Sindu bar is a good quiet bar. Cheers 🍻
Bremen looks pretty good. I knew nothing about Bremen before this but like any good german city it has sausage and beer and christmas shops. Do you really need anything else. The food on your boat looks alright too. When they marched the chefs out I didn't see Marco though. Was he stuck doing the dishes? As a matter of interest can you go to any of the restaurants in a tee shirt?
Bremen was lovely, we were quite happy with that instead of Hamburg. Beer, sausage and Christmas are the staple of any German city! You can certainly go to the dining room in a smart T-shirt - just not on formal night! Cheers 🍻

Brilliant as always. I am enjoying my very first cruise ship tour in my entire life hahhah Since you have quite experience in the past, both sounded very confident in script. Rach, how could you memorize all script? any cheat sheet??hahah Fist of all, you have your own plan where you must visit even though the cruise ship company offers in their manner. I wonder if you only spend money in Euro. Any conflict? How about health insurance and life insurance? You never know when your tooth start hurting...hahah If you take a tour Cruise company offers, can you still have a option to select where to go or where to eat? Hmmmmm so sorry to hear the weather has been unfavored with you. You had a good time at the pool to yourselves though. Are you able to drive on the land when you are given free time??? How is your selection of drink plan/program working for YOU? Have you felt any conflict because of the diversity/culture differences? Any restriction you can NOT purchase and bring to the ship? I did not see many children in the ship, have YOU? pets??? hahah hair salon ? I do like learning architecture, history and culture through your lens. Well done. We're glad you enjoyed it and came onboard with us. They're really relaxed to be honest. I don't remember much to be fair, a lot is voice over! We had changed up some money to euro before we left and used that ashore, everything on the ship was GBP. We love Germany and always have fun there. This tour we had free time and all other ports we did our own thing so plenty of free time. There were loads of children on the ship as it was school holidays, we just try to keep them out of shot! That's great! I guess everyone likes different things so there's something for everyone. Our fav ent on the ship was Debra Stevenson in the limelight and Rory O'Hanlon the comedian in the club house - all the headliners shows were a bit twee for us x

Beer and Bratwurst in a Bierkeller is possibly the best reason to walk past a Fisch and Chip shop. Iona looks great and seems to have plenty to offer. Looking forward to your overall thoughts at the end.

I 💯 agree on Greatest day, every time a great take that song started it stopped with annoying chat, we love take that and it was ruined, a take that tribute would have been far better.
Also totally agree a lot of restaurants on Iona and arvia have no identity, chef’s table and beach house is basically is buffet with table cloths.

Ah thank you. Hamburg was the one port we hadn't taken too, but we were looking forward to our tour (I'm sure we'd have loved Hamburg!). Bremen was beautiful and we loved our time there.
Yes, on Marella we had a Gary Barlow tribute fly on, he was great and the entire audience were up dancing by the end, which is what I think people want on a 1 or 2 week cruise. The cast went for it, but it was just dull!

Is there anywhere quiet to hang out on a cruise like this?
We love collecting Christmas ornaments from our travels. We've filled a wreath and are now starting a new one. With regards to the ship, as it was a cold cruise, everyone was inside, so we found it more crowded than the Marella ship. We did always manage to find quiet spots though - Sindu bar is a good quiet bar. Cheers 🍻

Bremen looks pretty good. I knew nothing about Bremen before this but like any good german city it has sausage and beer and christmas shops. Do you really need anything else. The food on your boat looks alright too. When they marched the chefs out I didn't see Marco though. Was he stuck doing the dishes?
As a matter of interest can you go to any of the restaurants in a tee shirt?
Bremen was lovely, we were quite happy with that instead of Hamburg. Beer, sausage and Christmas are the staple of any German city! You can certainly go to the dining room in a smart T-shirt - just not on formal night! Cheers 🍻

Since you have quite experience in the past, both sounded very confident in script. Rach, how could you memorize all script? any cheat sheet??hahah Fist of all, you have your own plan where you must visit even though the cruise ship company offers in their manner.
I wonder if you only spend money in Euro. Any conflict? How about health insurance and life insurance? You never know when your tooth start hurting...hahah
If you take a tour Cruise company offers, can you still have a option to select where to go or where to eat?

We're glad you enjoyed it and came onboard with us. They're really relaxed to be honest. I don't remember much to be fair, a lot is voice over! We had changed up some money to euro before we left and used that ashore, everything on the ship was GBP. We love Germany and always have fun there. This tour we had free time and all other ports we did our own thing so plenty of free time. There were loads of children on the ship as it was school holidays, we just try to keep them out of shot!
