Sony fanbase is the saltiest on the planet. Its been more than 4 years since they ported horizon zero dawn and they are still whining. Let us PC gamers buy and play those old games. I bet if World of Warcraft, Counter Strike 2 or Dota were to get console ports, PC gamers would not whine at all. We know PC is the best place to play, we don't need to hold games hostage to have artificial advantages. Sooner or later all games are playable on PC, whether publishers like it or not (emulation or decompilation/source ports) so its in their best interests to release quality ports down the line, to get some more money.

As I stated in another video, the sad part about Tsushima is that they can just simply say "this title can't be played online in your region" and still sell it for the single player portion of it. But that would honestly be too easy.
Sony will use the country lock out to go back after Helldivers II PC players to force everyone to link to a PSN account. "Since the game can only be played in PSN countries now you all must link a PSN account." I totally expect that coming.
The online game is not worth playing anyway man. It's a great story game. No one ever plays legends. And you don't need a log in for the actual game. Legend is seperate. It's like gtav and GTA online

It is funny to give bad PC ports as an example of PC being a bad platform. It is not fault of the PC, but the port itself. And publishers, like Sony, approve those ports.

This Playstation PC annoucement used to be really exciting for me... up until the whole PSN account fiasco. I live in one of those 177 countries and they took away my GoT Pre order and gave back my money. The same restrictions are probably going to be present in future PS games from now on, and I'm completely disappointed about that.

It's ok; I won't be buying it anyway as Sony continues to be more interested in their PSN numbers than anything else. They can completely throw themselves off the cliff in the first God of War and stay at the bottom of the sea.
Always getting upset whenever someone else gets to play a game, since they need to constantly keep assuring themselves over and over about the validity of splurging $500.00 plus tax on a plastic box with paywalls. I finished God of War several times. That was a very good game. God of War:R was so boring that I just got tired of walking forward one day, and I shut it off never to turn it on again. Never finished it, nothing. This game is pure ass. SBI Detected. I have ceased gaming with Sony, I am PC only now, and I advise all gamers to avoid Sony like the cancer it is.
It’s a similar situation with me:
Spider-Man PS4 was great, besides the Pre-Bite Miles & MJ missions. Spider-Man 2 however, lost the novelty the first one had and while I did finish it I didn’t feel the same way the first one did because of SBI.
I’ll probably stick with mostly PC as well at this rate, handheld PCs are also the way because I can’t stick with Nintendo either with all that.

I mean do we even want GoW Ragnarok? New GoW games remind me of Control or Quantum Break, walk forward, mash two buttons until everything dies, some quick-time events, occasionally solve a gimmick puzzle and watch a lot of badly written cutscenes. Those games look good, but that is about it.

God of war Ragnarok was such an ok game. I really enjoyed the one from 2018, but when i finished Ragnarok i was left feeling like i wasted my time. I just dont get what all these people see in it.

I don't play Playstation and i don't care for it but it's also wild for PC players to expect not to deal with Playstations network when Playstation payed to make the game. That's like saying i want an iPhone but with no apple ios. And i want iphone to make it for me.
I think porting the games over to PC after a while it’s a good thing. For gamers at least . I just wanna see what kind of mods people come up with . Just like they did with Kingdom hearts lol
If Ponys checked Sony games' stats on Steam charts they would see that PC gamers mostly don't give a damn about GoW. 73K players at peak is a respectable number, but nothing special. And don't mention piracy, Steam platform has way more paying player base than any of the consoles. Hades 2 has 103K players at peak. Hades 2 is 1.5x times more popular than GoW. Ponys had their EXCLUSIVE games in a safe space, so they never really had to compete in an open market.
Also, by the time their games come to PC, people have forgotten about them. Helldivers 2 is the 7th most profitable game in Sony history. That is mostly because of PC. Going forward it is going to be a shorter and shorter period of time till day 1. I genuinely don't care for PS games, although Helldivers 2 has been fun

Also, Sony games are not that popular among PS4-5 owners either. Just compare each game's sales to Playstation units sold. Less than 25% of PS owners buy Sony games. The rest of them are playing Fortnite, CoD, FIFA and shit.

God of War Ragnarok is GREAT on PC, especially since ALL the God of War games are extremely difficult, if not unbeatable, without cheating. And it was always this way since the very first game on the PS2.

Ive just never understood exclusive, after i got my pc i have wanted to play many exclusives but i just lost interest because it takes years to get then on pc. They would have more likely gotten momey from me if they just launched it day one. Its crazy sony thinks im gonna spend $500 just to once in a while play an exclusive from them. I love playstation, my first gaming station was the playstation 1 and stuck with it till a few years ago but damn they just keep giving me reasons not to get a console from them.

They have their own Japanese version, you can’t buy a global one there.
Because Sony has some dirty micro transactions built into this release of the game that are not permitted in Japan. That tells you all you need to know about Sony as a distributor.

When we love a game, we want for ALL players to be able to experience it. Heck, I for the most part was a Playstation player up until two years ago when I decided to become a PC player. My favorite game is Bloodborne, and if it got to PC I'd be positively shellshocked!! Why? Not only would I be able to play an ideally remastered version (or at least with 60 fps), but more players would have the opportunity to play this treasure trove of a game.
Let us cease this stupid exclusive mentality. Do not forget that the gaming industry is a MARKET, whose only intent is to MAKE MONEY. The more games they publish, the more money they make.

I left AAA gaming since the beginning of it, except maybe Nintendo. Not to say they're perfect. Seriously what a bunch of incompetent idiots. If they had even one gamer in their management maybe they'd be functioning at all. Instead they'll keep making stupid mistakes.
Everything ends up on PC, even if the company who owns the things are willing or not. If companies want to make money, they will release their games on PC. And for those things that wont be sold on pc, we can emulate.
The only reason that i bought a ps4 pro is that so i can play bloodborne on that.
And also buying games secondhand is cheap and physical copy is a thing I like that i can't do anymore on pc.
If if weren't for bloodborne being an exclusive I would have never bought it.
I spent roughly 90k+35k (hungarian forint) on the console+games that i would like to play.
Still the thing that i use to most to play games is still PC and also I use it more because i'm a programmer.

I may own xbox, game pass, & geforce now for PC but I'm betting that PSN requirement might happen to GOW ragnarok. I mean, it happened to helldivers 2(tripling down), and ghost of tsushima, it could happen to GOW ragnarok & the rest of their games. And possibly MLB the show on xbox & Nintendo.
