as the vlogger says, go there and try it first. yes, it looks great, but I have lived in Cha am and there is very little to do. Great for a few months, then it gets really boring. Always try somewhere first

Totally agree and partly because he is very modest. Definitely shows a different and, in my opinion, better side of Thailand away from the party scenes and wild nightlife, which is shown over and over.

PKK? went once in December, similar to Cha Am, very run down, not at at all interesting in my opinion, loved Hua Hin
On a recent trip to Thailand I mirrored his vlog journey through pkk area and absolutely had a great time. He's definitely in my top 3 vloggers to watch.

Hua Hin is a MUCH better (all round) choice - don't get stringed along
The first apartment is an absolute bargain. Incredible value considering location, facilities, size. For me it also had the best vibe. that whole area looks really nice!
Thanks for sharing and no reason for apologize for the long video as it was very interesting and informative as always! I have been many times in Cha Am and Hua Hin. My favorite is Cha Am as it is a bit more quiet and laid back than Hua Hin. The Grand Souvereign is my favorite hotel in the region by far.
All the condo units with separate bed room was fine for the price of 7000-7500 for 12 Month contract as long as the electricity is government rate at 4,5-5 Bath a KW/H(unit). And even if I always have said to my self that I will never set my feet on the ground at that huge complex, I now have a different view. With all the pools, close to the beach and all the other amenities on site, it's a gem!
Ok, that place with the bowling alley and a squash court, and at that price, that was something else!!!
Cha-Am is where many Thais head to for the weekends, which is why everything is so much cheaper compared to other popular tourist places like Hua Hin or Pattaya. I'm fortunate that my sister has a vacant condo room, which I can use for free whenever I vacation there. 😎

I am touring Thailand every winter, and one of the first places I stop all the time is CHA AM! I just love the place! Been visiting for the last 14 years! It is also only about 25 km from Hua Hin.

I'd like to know if they have larger, two, three bedroom units, and the prices! I'd actually love to see you do an entire video just on that one Complex, because it seemed spectacular! Also, I noticed the high rise buildings along the beachfront. Maybe you can do some videos on those buildings as well!!

Always look forward to your new videos, and didn’t know you were from Victoria. Back in the 90s I used to stay at the Empress, and Chinatown was my favorite area.
I think you have us sold on Cha Am. My girlfriend and I are coming down to PKK near when my lease in Jomtien finishes, in order to find a more serene beach town. We will probably look for a villa rental, until I get comfortable enough to buy. I currently have an 82sqm seaview one bdrm condo, but I image imagine the developments you visited also have larger units.

Amazed at those condo prices and the last one with all the extra facilities and that humongous gym ! have been to Phuket and Bangkok but that Cha Am has great appeal and real budget condos and close to the beach area, like the separate bedroom with two of those condos, recently in Mandaluyong Manila for a month and studio condos , one was ok but the other's ! so small , I like the separate bedroom, Cha Am has a lot going for it and not too far from Bangkok loved Chang beer when I visited Thailand for a month, your detail is great , and your videos entertaining, like you I could easily settle in Cha Am ! kop khun krap from New Zealand .
