I ate in that restaurant and somehow lost my cash. I said to the owner hold my phone while I go to the ATM. He was incredulous and said no, keep your phone and just come back. Legend. Yes I tipped him.

I like it when Vloggers take us around and show us the area instead of sitting in a room and telling us about it. Great Video! I would take the cheapest one with a pool-- cause that's just how I am... 😜

Anybody that checks the beer prices at the fitness center pool is my kinda guy.

Once the high speed train is up and running reducing the travel time to and from Bangkok, I can see the prices rising. Hua Hin would probably be my pick of places to retire. Has not got the burning season like Chiang Mai. Has some night life but isnt as full on as Pattaya. Doesnt have the Smog problem of Bangkok. Cheaper than Phucket.

We have been in Hua Hin many times and it is not over-crowded, they have everything. Certainly not the worst place to be for a long stay and way better than Bangkok.

Of all the videos from Ex-pats in Thailand I appreciate this video the most. Showing off your town, the cheap places to rent or own. The food and beverage available. All while just bouncing around town on your scooter. Very nicely done. Very casual, friendly, and relaxed.... like the Thai people and lifestyle ;-)

I've been living here for 2 years, it's a beautiful city. The beach is beautiful and very long, safe, clean, with complete facilities. Since I moved from Bangkok to Hua Hin 2 years ago after working from home. I recommend if you are visiting, renting a car for 25$-30$ per day is very worthwhile. It is only 2 hours away from Bangkok. Of course, if you rent a car from Bangkok, you can easily drive to Hua Hin and Pattaya. I want to say that buying a condo here is really worth it. I bought it for $25000 2 years ago. and now the price has gone up 25%. It a good choice 😍😍🍻🍻👍👍✔✔

Dude, your narration is so chill. You sound like you're loving life, so I'm a bit envious. I originally wanted to see a little of it as I was video surfing, and ended up watching the whole thing. Well done!

I gained a whole new appreciation for your production values recently after viewing someone else's jerky and poorly planned video. You're one of my very favorites. I discovered you on a video where you were bopping around the Philippines and meeting people. I remember you came across people celebrating a birthday and were invited to have some food with them. I thought, now that's the kind of people I want to live around.

I would live in Seamira House (5 year old hotel near soi 94, ask for a room facing the pool), they have monthly rates < 11k, it's next to the new train tracks (not active) and the Baan Khun Por market (very nice place for a meal with live music). Other choices for condos with rooftop pool are The room (5.5k-8.5k depending on the floor) and Parin Residence (8-10k), they're also next to soi 94. I stayed in La Casita 2 months ago, it was also fine, the pool was great. For restaurants, I'd advise Ken's kitchen (best curry ever), Shiva (great Indian restaurant with a nice garden), Ogen (middle eastern) and Flavours (nice burgers).

Thanks for your fantastic tour! I would choose the last one... I loved the color scheme and the decorations, plus the furniture looked comfy. The greatest part of the video, for ma, was hearing the locals give you a friendly hout-out when you said hello while passing them. Try that in the States and people would simply look at you as if you're a weirdo. Loved it!

I like the last condo you looked at. Love how it has a separate kitchen area. Nice location too. We are travelling to Hua Hin and beyond (south) in Aug for the first time. Looking for areas to rent when we retire in about 5 years time. Can’t wait to check it out.
