I also have this laundry center and yes if you put it on bulky for everything it will fill all the way however if you want to use the other cycles it works perfectly if you get a water decanter fill it up pour it over your clothes two times not more. It will think the load is heavier and fill up. It will start washing when you check it it doesn’t look like it has enough water in it but then it adds more and you will be surprised that it fills up all the way. I’ve done this trick and I’ve not had a problem with it you could use any cycle as long as you add those two decanters of water over the top of your clothes.
@@jaymejay1 yes i do here is another trick, if you set it for a second rinse and leave the fabric softener button off it will give you a spray rinse for the first rinse and a deep rinse for the second, which is exactly what I want. I discovered that by chance and playing around with the settings.
This review was awesome! I just moved into a condo and inherited this new unit and I was afraid that it was broken. You did an excellent job explaining the features and how to operate the unit and I am so happy that you did. I was getting ready to call a service repairman, you have saved me tons of money. Bless your heart.
Thank you soooo much. Just bought a new house with this unit in it so you can imagine my surprise and frustration when I couldn’t get the water to load fully. I was worried I would have to shell out a couple of grand to get a new one. Your video was heaven sent!
i read the manual& this machine is designed to minimize water & shows pix of the water level being than the clothes! Unusual compared to traditional standard washers but it agitates in a way that washes the clothes w/ less water like HE (high efficiency) machines. This is why the manual recommends HE liquid detergent.

Just purchased GEstackable washer/dryer. Lowes store Egg Harbor. The entire staff made it a GREAT experience. From the switchboard, customer service Megan,Appliance Mah, store manager Mr,Jackson and the two delivery gentlemen . All were professional, patient, very helpful to me, I highly urge friends, neighbors everyone to shop at Lowes, The customer is treated well!!!
Great review and tips! Thanks for sharing. My wife and I bought this unit in July of 2020. Generally it's worked well despite the quirks, but several months in, we noticed a loud rubbing noise that turned into a squeaking/chirping noise (almost like a mouse!). After replacing the motor belt, the issue continued. GE and the repair person we used determined it to be the transmission so they replaced the entire interior mechanism (drum, agitator, transmission, everything). We were shocked that the unit started to show problems on several months after our purchase. It seems to be working well again after the repair and the noise is gone, but I was wondering if you or anyone reading has encountered this issue before. We hope to use this unit for many years ahead, but it's disheartening that something could go wrong so early on in the lifecycle. Thanks in advance -- happy washing/drying and stay safe, everyone!
I just want to thank you so much for making this video because I really thought my washer was broke I really Learned a lot that they do not have any manual
JAYME JAY YOU ROCK! Mine was delivered today and was so confused! cause it's super loud, spins for an eternity, and since I didn't know about the "bulky" setting and tried to wash just one sheet I found out the sheet didn't get completely wet. You've been so helpful. Thank you
Glad it was helpful CV R 😊 Two other vids were recently filmed, too: th-cam.com/video/Ihgh_psRUHY/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/xgvFwvu1lmk/w-d-xo.html
This is a great introduction video for this machine. I just purchased it and appreciate the tip to leave the cycle selector on "Bulky". Another tip I learned from trial and error is that although the washer basket looks very large, do not fill it all the way up with clothes! The water level will not go all the way up to the top edge of the wash basket, even on the "Bulky" highest water setting. So, I fill the wash basket up half way with clothes, the water covers them well and they get adequately washed. The washer spins very well. The dryer is a slow one and your tip about setting it on "Optimum" is the best and highest heat. It is not a super hot dryer but does the job.
We had similar GE washer & Dryer combo few times in the past 40 years. They all had the same problem of not filling the tub with enough water. It is made that way to save water. Our very first unit lasted 15 years. We used to add water into the tub before we turned it on. However, the laundry load did not rinse out well. So we had to run an extra rinse and spin cycle. Not sure if that will work with the new ones. The best small space/ compact size washer & Dryer set is the one that sells individually. It is easier to move/hock up and repair. Finally we never ever use gas vs. electric. Too many issues with gas appliances. GE sells the same model but with electric power source, and it is actually cheaper than the gas model. Nice review.
I just got my older washer and dryer replaced that i loved with this model. I dislike that it does not allow me to wash a large load. Your video has given me a peice of mind and i will check to see it i can make it work the way you have. Thank you.
I was hoping they had fixed this but it looks like they haven't. This is the only machine I can find that fits in the space where I currently have my washer and dryer.
Thanks for this. I live in an apartment. They just replaced my ancient combo with this. I immediately noticed the lack of water. Of course because they pay the water bill. I was worried it would damage our clothes. It certainly doesnt clean that well but now i can try the clunky setting. Thanks again
Thanks so much... I just moved in and one of these is in the new place. I used it once and it worked. I've been trying for an hour to get the thing to work and it only works using bulky... your a life saver
thank you so much for this all inclusive video. my apt complex just installed this today for me, and it was such a different machine it raised so many questions! all of which were answered here! :)
Hello, I'm testing out mine now and it's weird, I turned it on and it spit out less that a gallon of water then started this washing movement and it doesn't let in anymore water. What's that about please????😢😢
Thank you for this video I noticed that the water level was low even though I put it in the heavy load setting but il leave it on the bulk setting from now on 💫
After watching a few videos and reading comments I was kind of afraid to use this machine. I bumbled it trying to use the bulky setting to load water and then over to the setting I wanted. So I thought I would share what has been working for me. I found a statement in the user guide that comes with the machine that warns not to be confused when the washer appears to start washing with only a wee bit of water in it. This is normal for the "auto load" feature and the way the machine evaluates if there is enough water. It adds a little water, gives a twist and a turn. The amount of resistance tells the machine if it needs to add more. It adds more, repeats the test (twisting/turning a bit) until the water is at the correct amount. So far, there is nothing wrong with my machine's ability to load water. I've done only a few loads the regular way, so if this changes I will write more. Some people, however, may have washers where this feature isn't working right and they will have to find a work around. But try a load setting it normally, as if not expecting anything wrong, and allowing for this auto load process, and see if it works. Hope that helps! Update: 11/20: I switched to doing my clothes only on bulky because the low-water loads were beating the ever-loving out of my clothes. Even if I start with bulky to add to the wash, the rinse (if I then switch load to regular) is wearing my clothes out prematurely. I think I might try the hack that Peter suggested below and see if I have luck! FYI: The bulky cycle leaves clothes wetter in the end. Not wet, just not as spun dry.
I found the adding 2 decanters of water over the top of my dry clothes makes the machine think that there’s a heavier load there so it gives me more water. It will start washing with low water and then add more almost to the top.
I have the exact same washer, because it is load sensing it fills up with a lil water at first and tries to wash, then it will stop and fill-up with more water to the correct level... just don't overload it or it will never have enough water ... where is the filter for the washer?? Would love to see if anything has ever got lost in there.. a tip came up with to clean out the agitator , remove the softener cup and use the warmest water possible to rinse it out and then stick a toilet brush , or a bottle brush (new of course) ive done this a few times cuz it will get thick and grimey and mildew will start growing after cleaning run an empty load wash with hot water and vinegar
Great review - I wish I viewed it before I bought it for our condo this week. The biggest downfall for me about this machine is that the agitator is sooooooo loud! It doesn't make your normal swishing sound agitators do - it make a mechanical grinding noise. Its so bad it should be mentioned on the description. For a top loader I hate that it doesn't have a load/water fill selection (small, medium, large). I haven't tried the Bulky Item cycle so will do that. Laundry should be a simple process without any strategizing.
I appreciate the support April A 😊 and hope the machine works out for you. Although it has some drawbacks I have never had any mechanical difficulties so that's a definite plus.
Thanks for helping me I just bought it today! It actually wasn’t filling up with water at first so I was getting so frustrated I kicked it and now it works 😁
Well it’s been about a month and nothing but problems with this machine. One day it took me 3hrs to do 1 freaking load!! I’m so tired of fighting with this machine to do it’s simple wash (dryer works fine) I’m going to return this product. It’s unfortunate but I don’t have time or patience for it anymore.
Thank Thank you for this video! I received this washing machine as a replacement and I thought it was broken. I now know how to use it thanks to your video!! ❤️
I'm glad I found you and I'm just not getting used to this new washer and dryer that my apartment complex install this week and thanks for the tip about the bulk cycle
Me too! I am about to watch I hope it helps. I even had maintenance come back because I thought it was broken or not installed correctly or I just needed to be shown how to use it- so frustrating I’m spending hours trying to wash one load on my one day off lol
This is a good video in explanation and showing images. Thank you. I was wondering bout the phone looking piece too. Just got it yesterday we don't have gas but washing to rinsing, spinning loud loud.
Thank you so much. This is very helpful. Using for the first time at a holiday rental. Had thought of having one of these in my house but definitely sticking with what I have. 😅
Thank u!!!! Thank you for the advise on the water and cycles! We are on vacay and this is the w/d set in our unit and I’ve been pulling my hair out trying to wash a load of clothes! I’m gonna use your method
Thank you. I just found an apartment that has this and obviously it needs a cleaning and I never experienced one like this. Thank you for posting this video😊 cause i don’t remember the name and I haven’t moved in yet so I just wanted to be prepared when it’s time lol
Thanks for showing this video because I just gotten a Ready to move in 12 x 36 Cabin House and it has this wash and dryer unit in it , & this video has shown me how to use it . Thanks
Hello. I have the exact same machine. What I do for my liquid detergent is to wait until my tank fills then I add the the detergent and a small bucket of water I use my hands to soak the clothing in more and I make sure the add all that the beginning of the cycle so I don’t forget. 😊.
Thanks for sharing this: very helpful. I bought mine 2 days ago. In my washer, the middle orange sticker which is covered by the lid has been torn off(there is a trace showing it was there before). I feel I’ve been sold something that had been returned before. I am going to return this.
I also have to go through all these extra steps to get the GE washer/dryer combo to fill up. Also, the washer is so loud. It sounds like geese are being killed. I had another GE washer and dry combo and really liked it, but this one has issues.
This was very helpful. However we have experienced our washer not going through the steps of washing, rinsing and spinning on its own. We have to keep checking the washer. Has this happened with you? If not any suggestions?
Thanks for the very helpful video. I was just about to call GE to get a repair. I find the lack of water filling the tub and the noise it makes unacceptable. I'm sorry I bought this model.
Hi. Thanks for this video. It was very helpful. One note about the water: I saw the same thing that you did and at that same point in the cycle-- the first time the washer stops filling. It has VERY little water at that moment. I let it run, just out of curiosity, and after a few minutes it began to fill a second time. This time it filled sufficiently to wash the load. I'm curious if you tried letting it go. You did say that one time the clothes were still soapy after the cycle, but that may be a different issue. I use the second rinse to make sure the soap is completely washed out. Thanks again for a great video! EDIT: I think it may fill this way as part of the load sensing technology. The second time the washer started to fill, the clothes were compacted at the bottom of the drum, from the initial agitation. That may be how the washer knows how much water to fill.
Thanks for the support G C 😊 I agree w/your assessment. The clothes get compacted at the bottom after the water continues to fill. Sadly, the water level never goes above clothes and barely covers them (hence the powder substance not being fully washed off). A water conservation machine sounds nice, in theory!
I’ve had one of these units for about a year and the lack of water hasn’t deterred the quality of the was. I found other newer generation washers do the same
The problem with all in one units is that if one thing breaks, the whole thing needs to be replace. They are also harder to work on, so they cost more to get repaired. A better bet is stacking washer/dryer combos, so that if one needs to be replaced or fixed only that one needs to be replaced or fixed. The other can still be used.
@MAGAMAN Very true. Managers of buildings often want to save so many people who rent are often stuck -- many replies have indicated it came with their unit.
The real world scenario is that many condo/townhome/apartment dwellers must buy the attached stackable unit (GE, Frigidaire) since it is the only one that fits in the Special Laundry closet. It is often not a width but a depth issue due to the semi-rigid hose, water line, gas line (whether or not you use it), and clearance requirements (often 1-2" is fine). I was finally able to buy a beautiful LG stackable (the ThinQ with steam cycles) and make it fit. Was a hassle for the delivery guys, but...
This review/tutorial has been so helpful. I do not have a manual with my unit, so I have a question. What is the difference between the Delicate and the Easy Care cycles on the dryer? Which is hotter/cooler? Thank you!
I just got this unit yesterday. I first watched this video before purchasing it and came back to it today because the spin cycle is sooooooo loud ! I'm in a condo and I may need to put a piece of wood under it to buff some vibration from it so my downstairs neighbors aren't aware every time I do laundry. It's much noisier than the stackable I just got rid of. Kind of scared actually of it lol , I may take a video to bring to loews to see if this is suppose to be so loud and the spin is insanely fast 😳
Thanks for doing this. I've been struggling for 6 weeks to get this washer to work and it doesn't empty correctly. With all that you have shared, how can GE sell this? Who has time to stand there and make adjustments during both the wash and dry ing cycles?
I deep cleaned my washer today but wanted to see what you think is the best effective way to deep clean the washer and dryer mostly curious about the lint since there's no way I've seen to deeply clean where it tends to get trapped like in a normal dryer you can vacuum all the way down but with this one it's hollow and just goes through the door so I'm unsure if there's any other lint I should be cleaning out besides in the door thanks very much for the advice especially with the water I knew something wasn't right
Thank you for this!! So so helpful on every level. Only machine that fits i. our closet now as the old stackable is now a few inches higher and can't fit. Not thrilled with this and 🤞🏻it holds up. is anyone else experiencing issues with hot/cold water? can't seem to get cool water
how do you like it so far? Considering buying it for my condo since the space is limited. I could change the laundry hookups to be more recessed into the walls but that'll cost extra but also allow me to buy a bigger washer/dryer set.
I got one about a month ago. Works wonderful. I don't know why people are crapping on it. My grandmama had one just like this for 10+ years and never had problems.
Good point about weight Cory CG 👍 - the shipping weight is apparently 285 and item weight is closer to 225? That's according to the GE website. Mine was also delivered but I didn't assist with the install or moving. Weight might be of importance to some people.
Jayme Jay yeah I’m a strong guy and I can barley lift it because I can’t move it around since it doesn’t have wheels because I don’t want to try pushing it or pulling it because it’ll scratch my floor
You need to take it off precise fill that feature is useless, and the sensor is useless . Leave the water lever on max and choose deep rinse . Then the tub will fill up all the way with water for all cycles
My washer is so loud. It makes an incredible amount of noise during the wash cycle. I did not see that here. I do not think it is just my washer as I have found other threads where people complain about it as well. Do you experience this?
yeah its annoying, not even a constant washing noise, the on off on off sound is maddening. this product is all around bad. kinda confusing too at first because when youre used to a normal washer, you hear the water pour in when you hit start. this thing stays silent for like 3 minutes with all your clothes locked into it while your wondering if you didn’t set it right or if it’s broken. i hate it haha
I like to just put it on bulky and put my detergent in first then put my clothes in.. depending on what im washing. Like my sheets… but I think its best to let the water run and fill first because it’ll stop filling up when you put ur clothes in first
Thank you for your excellent tutorial. I have a question about the lid lock feature on the washer. Once a wash cycle is started the lid is licked and the "lock lid" light is on. Even when the cycle is stopped and the cycle dial is on off, the lid is still locked. How do I cancel the cycle and open the lid?
blenak is your light malfunctioning? It should (at times during a cycle) go off and allow the lid to open. You can always turn the cycle completely off if needed.
@@jaymejay1 thanks for your reply. It is new I just installed it. I'm sure it is not the light malfunctioning. The lid is locked. But what bothers me is that even when I pause the cycle or turn the nob to off position the lid is still locked and the light is on
Thank you for the great overview! My landlord just purchased this for the apartment I rent so I have not used the machine yet. I have a question though about the water issue. If I want to do a delicate cycle, do I turn it to bulky to let it fill up but then back to delicate cycle as soon as the wash begins? Then when it rinses, do I then have to move it back to bulky and then back to delicate for the spin? I hope these questions make sense!
Hi hillsidepoppy glad you found it helpful 👍 Select bulky items for the tank to fill - once the tank fills quickly switch it to delicates before the agitator begins, or turn it off completely and then select the cycle you want. Just make sure you select 2nd rinse on the other control dial to make sure it drains out the extra water. For the first wash I'd try it the way they recommend, and you'll be able to judge if you get enough water for your load. HTH.
Great video thank you I am trying to find out if there is a loading instruction meaning how much you can load at one time e.I. Can you do a full set of sheets for a double bed How many towels can you do at a time
Jane Campbell I have done a sample wash video that includes sheets and other bedding, and some towels I think were there, too. Link: th-cam.com/video/Ihgh_psRUHY/w-d-xo.html
We've had this unit since June of 2020. Worked well initially but then the transmission crapped out 4-5 months in. (Symptom was a loud squeaking/rubbing noise that got progressively worse.) We got it repaired under warranty. Now, just over a year later, the issue has come back and warranty has run out. We are getting a repair person in next week, but it's quite disheartening as the unit is still practically new. Anyone else experiencing this? I know stuff is not built to last like the old Maytags were, but this is ridiculous! (Not to detract from the review. It's excellent. I just wanted to ask if anyone else has encountered the issues we have.)
Thanks for the info about how to get more water. I wonder what the slits are for on the top sides. I thought it was for soap, but I can't find info about them.
Thank you for the clear explanation. Our dryer is not drying, it’s working but not getting warm. What do you think could be the reason. We have the same machine.
@yaashlifestyle909 I have mentioned that several times, too. The gas models, especially, do not get very warm or dry efficiently. Very very small loads will help with that and allow what warm air does get in to circulate better. Mine has never dried in less than 2 hours, it takes forever to even get warm, and yet nothing is functionally wrong. Dryer overview and operation : th-cam.com/video/xgvFwvu1lmk/w-d-xo.html

Thanks for sharing your experience with the machine hillsidepoppy 👍
I found the adding 2 decanters of water over the top of my dry clothes makes the machine think that there’s a heavier load there so it gives me more water. It will start washing with low water and then add more almost to the top.
@@petermaz701 Good hack!
Was a little confused when I first got mine... but this video tips were spot on and I can live it. Thanks
Thank you so much Barbara Jackson 😊 I'm glad you found it useful and appreciate your support.
This is one of the best reviews on YT. You did a great job! Shame it’s so stingy with water on the regular cycles.
Thank you petermazbabie 😊 I appreciate the feedback and glad you found it useful!
You are very good at this. Very thorough. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind comment Michel Bartolini, I appreciate it ❤️❤️
I have the exact same washer, because it is load sensing it fills up with a lil water at first and tries to wash, then it will stop and fill-up with more water to the correct level... just don't overload it or it will never have enough water ... where is the filter for the washer?? Would love to see if anything has ever got lost in there.. a tip came up with to clean out the agitator , remove the softener cup and use the warmest water possible to rinse it out and then stick a toilet brush , or a bottle brush (new of course) ive done this a few times cuz it will get thick and grimey and mildew will start growing after cleaning run an empty load wash with hot water and vinegar
Thank you so much for posting this video i thought i was going crazy like where is the water! Video was very helpful
Glad it helped Latoya Timson thanks for the support
Thank you so much this video helped me so much ,, your a sweetheart for making this and making my life more enjoyable doing laundry

Thanks for this review. The back view was very helpful. Thanks for sharing the wash issues and the sounds. This is a very useful review.
Glad it was helpful @Trudloops, thank you
Thanks - I heard the stop and start and didn’t know what was happening
@@jaymejay1 Well that’s comforting to know. Thanks again Jayme.
Thanks for helping me I just bought it today! It actually wasn’t filling up with water at first so I was getting so frustrated I kicked it and now it works 😁
Glad it helped a bit BDRZN Music
How did you get it to fill 😭😭 can’t figure it out
Well it’s been about a month and nothing but problems with this machine. One day it took me 3hrs to do 1 freaking load!! I’m so tired of fighting with this machine to do it’s simple wash (dryer works fine) I’m going to return this product. It’s unfortunate but I don’t have time or patience for it anymore.
Great video. So glad that you showed the back with ventilation. Amazon doesn’t have any images of it. Thanks

I'm glad I found you and I'm just not getting used to this new washer and dryer that my apartment complex install this week and thanks for the tip about the bulk cycle
Hope it helps patricia sheppard and good luck. A dryer video and washer cycle full video is linked in the description.

You just saved my life. I thought there was something wrong with this washer/dryer. Why don’t they tell you this. Jesus.
Glad it helped you out Al Austin 👍😀
Thank u!!!! Thank you for the advise on the water and cycles! We are on vacay and this is the w/d set in our unit and I’ve been pulling my hair out trying to wash a load of clothes! I’m gonna use your method

Thanks for showing this video because I just gotten a Ready to move in 12 x 36 Cabin House and it has this wash and dryer unit in it , & this video has shown me how to use it . Thanks
Glad I could help Anthony , thanks for the support.
Hello. I have the exact same machine. What I do for my liquid detergent is to wait until my tank fills then I add the the detergent and a small bucket of water I use my hands to soak the clothing in more and I make sure the add all that the beginning of the cycle so I don’t forget. 😊.
No way I will do this. I get distracted. I'll be doing something else by the time the tank is full.
This was really helpful. Thank you.
You're welcome @GaryABArmstrong
Thank you for sharing this video. It HELPED a lot! 😊
Glad it was helpful @gladysbenitez4995 Thank you
Thank you for this video! Helped me learn more than the instructions manual.😀😅
Great to hear @aircruzat9364
Thanks for sharing this: very helpful.
I bought mine 2 days ago. In my washer, the middle orange sticker which is covered by the lid has been torn off(there is a trace showing it was there before). I feel I’ve been sold something that had been returned before. I am going to return this.
Thanks for your comment and support parvaz R 😊 - that sounds like a good reason to return, it should look new if it's new!
@khushishah4267 Sorry to hear this, but mine has not malfunctioned like this.
Thanks for the very helpful video. I was just about to call GE to get a repair. I find the lack of water filling the tub and the noise it makes unacceptable. I'm sorry I bought this model.
Glad it helped in some way mmdesmond1
A water conservation machine sounds nice, in theory!
than you so much, can you tell me how to drain the water, I used my brothers, and the water still there for 2 days!
Thanks so much for the good tips. I've been using this machine for a year with insufficient water. Clothes have not been clean.
Glad I could help Bruce Savage thanks for the support
Just bought this machine so ur vid was extremely helpful
Great to hear @pabblackberry

Thank you Because I was like WTH, where's the water? Lol. Very Helpful!

thank you so much for the advice, we are looking for one right now and we don't have the space so we might have to choose the same model,
Good luck with your decision susana evelyn gil funes
Rinse only cold but does not fill or fills so slowly it will be next week to complete. So I run two quick cycles. 1 with soap and one without.
Wow amazing review so much useful info. Thanks 😊

You did a awesome demonstration thank you
You are so welcome Kv pce, thank you!
Thank you for the video. Would you happen to know how to remove the side vent knockout?
I deep cleaned my washer today but wanted to see what you think is the best effective way to deep clean the washer and dryer mostly curious about the lint since there's no way I've seen to deeply clean where it tends to get trapped like in a normal dryer you can vacuum all the way down but with this one it's hollow and just goes through the door so I'm unsure if there's any other lint I should be cleaning out besides in the door thanks very much for the advice especially with the water I knew something wasn't right
Agreed!
Thanks alot for the review...it really helped.

Thank you for this!! So so helpful on every level. Only machine that fits i. our closet now as the old stackable is now a few inches higher and can't fit. Not thrilled with this and 🤞🏻it holds up. is anyone else experiencing issues with hot/cold water? can't seem to get cool water

just got mine today. Hope I made a good choice. I think i did.
how do you like it so far? Considering buying it for my condo since the space is limited. I could change the laundry hookups to be more recessed into the walls but that'll cost extra but also allow me to buy a bigger washer/dryer set.
I got one about a month ago. Works wonderful. I don't know why people are crapping on it. My grandmama had one just like this for 10+ years and never had problems.
I can't get it to work properly, hate it!
I have one and I had to help the delivery guys bring it in the house they are nice but really heavy mine weighs almost 300 pounds.
Great review, on point with everything said. I was looking for more info in the u+ connect plug and module but thanks much
Thank you Allure Kelise
You need to take it off precise fill that feature is useless, and the sensor is useless . Leave the water lever on max and choose deep rinse . Then the tub will fill up all the way with water for all cycles
How do you take it off the precise fill feature and how do you leave the water lever on max?
How you do that??? Take off precise fill
My washer is so loud. It makes an incredible amount of noise during the wash cycle. I did not see that here. I do not think it is just my washer as I have found other threads where people complain about it as well. Do you experience this?
SOUNDS of the machine: th-cam.com/video/5JjgN-69NUA/w-d-xo.html
I have a brand new one - not only is it difficult to get it to start a wash but it's super loud.
yeah its annoying, not even a constant washing noise, the on off on off sound is maddening. this product is all around bad. kinda confusing too at first because when youre used to a normal washer, you hear the water pour in when you hit start. this thing stays silent for like 3 minutes with all your clothes locked into it while your wondering if you didn’t set it right or if it’s broken. i hate it haha
Thanks to you I learned to use my W/D my manual given by my apt complex was not much help 🎉thank youu
Glad it helped Nona Garcia !
Hola sabes si la secadora es d gas?
do you know how to make it soak for longer than 15 mins and without it draining after it being paused?
Thanks for making the video. I find that the liquid fabric softener leaves it’s Colour in several clothes after a wash. Do you have any suggestions?
But what bothers me is that even when I pause the cycle or turn the nob to off position the lid is still locked and the light is on
Congratulations, excelent explanation 💖
HTH.
where is the filter for the washer machine ? how do you clean it out ?
Great video thank you I am trying to find out if there is a loading instruction meaning how much you can load at one time e.I. Can you do a full set of sheets for a double bed How many towels can you do at a time
Jane Campbell I have done a sample wash video that includes sheets and other bedding, and some towels I think were there, too. Link: th-cam.com/video/Ihgh_psRUHY/w-d-xo.html
My problem is that it would stop mid wash with all the water still there.
Christina C I'm not sure I know what slits you are referring to. The soap goes around the clothing and softener in the center circle.
Hello, can you use fabric softener with this washer? Thanks so much for the video!
Yes you can Jake Ifraimov - there is a center section where it is supposed to go.
excellent overview. Thanks.
You're welcome, glad it was helpful!
After installation I would not recommend this GE product. The fact you have to trick the washer into doing its job is not ideal.
How do you do that? Our dryer is working but not getting warm or drying the clothes 😢
Freaking tell me about it 🤬
Thank you for the clear explanation.
