- Over the past years, the Active VE52 peaked some interests in the pressure washer and car detailing market. Thanks to our friends over at @ObsessedGarage , everyone saw the capabilities of this unit. Now, despite the step-backs that we've had regarding defects, we were able to pinpoint and solve the issue. In this video, James recaps why the Active VE52 is still the most valuable unit its class today.

I can attest to the redesign of the internals to make it more reliable. My updated one year review update on my old unit and the newest version will be us soon.
Help me here Keav, can we use different orfices now and the 50ft and tools we like to attach?

@@WhiteBeardDetail For the hose you can as they resolved the pressure switch issue if you have an updated unit. The orifices I would stay with anything close to the 3.7 they give you or bigger . Depends on your electricity and water flow going into the pressure washer. Some it’s safe to run a 3.5 or even a 3.0 and some it’s not. Pressure gauge might help, but I would keep it under 1100 PSI or you will lessen the life of the unit. Keep above 750 to 800 PSI as you won’t get any benefit from it.
how do I know if the unit on the shelf is updated?
@@shellderp grab all the info from the unit. Should be a sticker with the model and serial. Hit up their Customer Service and they can let you know. They respond to Insta DM pretty quick as well.

@@ACTIVEPRODUCTS I had a couple, store bought pressure washers. None of them worked terribly well. Then I got the VE52 and never looked back.
Is there a specific manufacture date that identifies the improvements have been made in the unit?
Love mine, wash cars, use a floor cleaning tool for around the pool, and driveway! High flow is where it’s at! Waiting for a reason to get a 2.0 all I can come up with is to mount on the wall in garage for cars and keep using the 52 for around the house.
Love mine also there customer service is top notch had some issues with mine and they took care of the problem no questions asked

Bought my VE52 in March for $250.....wish i wouldve bought it in 2021 for $150. Either way it's been working great, fingers crossed!
Yes, supply chain disruptions and costs have been insane since we started this project.
@@ACTIVEPRODUCTS tbh I think it's actually really really admirable that you've been able to keep the costs even where they are. With all the supply chain issues still plaguing the world and having to address some issues with earlier units, it's super awesome to see you guys keep up your own high standards and commitment to making sure this as a great value option even though your brand recognition has continued to go up and more people discover and hear about your products.
8/27/2022. Just received my ve52. In stock configuration (stock hose, wand, 40deg/3.7) my gage is reading just under 800, call it 780psig. After switching out to 40deg/3.0, gage was reading 1000psig.
After installing 50ft flexzilla hose w/ mtm wand w/ 40deg/3.7, massive surging that eventually went away, gage was reading just under over 700psig. Swapped it out for the 40deg/3.0 and pressure went up to just over 900psig with every release of trigger causing pressure to jump to 2200psig.
Thoughts??
We apologize for the unexpected results, but could you verify the following;
1. Has the pressure gauge been tested with another unit to determine if it has been calibrated correctly? (Faulty pressure gauges are common) - some read too high, some read too low - as was depicted in Obsessed Garage testing. A 3.0 nozzle should not yield below 900 PSI
2. Could you test the water volume output to determine if the volume is around 2 GPM. If the volume of water with the 3.7 orifice is around 1.8 to 2 GPM, then we can determine that all the pistons and valves are working as intended and the pressure output is due to a faulty measuring gauge.
In any case where there is a machine issue causing a drop in pressure, there should be a drop in flow as well.
We're fairly confident, that the pressure washer should be operating at close to 1000 PSI with the provided nozzle @ 2GPM.

The VE52 is geared to handle 3/8 hoses up to 100'.

Did the updates to the ve52 make it to the simonize units in Canada?

As some one that has JUST bought the Canadian Tire one. what are some tips to make sure that this pressure washer get good life and doesn't have any issues in the future.
The tips that come with the Simoniz units are optimized for performance and product life!
In terms of making sure that you maximize its life cycle, these units are designed to be used residentially only. Any use outside the scope of residential and non-commercial use will speed up the wear and tear on the unit. We also recommend staying within our recommended orifice, hose, and accessories when upgrading to make sure that you won't potentially damage the unit or pump.
Can't find ve52 and no set release date on the 2.0

Hey there, that's correct. There were issues with the VE52 and longer hoses and some accessories in the past so we wanted to make a way for users to be able to somewhat modify their units without damaging the pressurewashers.

You got that right, the VE56 comes with just the unit while the VE52 comes with accessories.

This does not appear to be a good unit to wall mount.
It wasn’t designed at the outset to specifically wall mount. But there are many set ups people have done so it’s definitely workable.
