    Have now used this to clean house siding and it performed well th-cam.com/users/postUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX I also bought some wand extensions which enabled higher washing without needing a ladder. I recommend both. This unit arrived quickly, was easy to assemble (only had to attach the handle), and arrived in perfect condition. The only very slight downgrade from a perfect score is the design has a low handle and requires pulling from the side. My old washer was an upright model, while this one is more horizontal. Other than that, it's perfect for my needs. It has a great deal of pressure and more easily cleaned the house siding, porch rails and concrete than did my older model. The engine is a bit louder, as well, but the total time to clean was reduced by the more powerful spray. Did I mention it starts on the first or second pull every time?!! I am definitely happy with this model.

      Hi Pan! I was cruising TH-cam and found someone I didn’t have to speed up 2x. I slowed it down to 1x and then found you having an in depth conversation about shampoo. It was something I never thought about. This lead to a deep dive into your videos, and others. I tried out some products and found this really relaxing. Now I enjoy maintaining my vehicles. I’m a weekend warrior, definitely not a professional, but I can see how people can just fall in love with their work. • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It depends on which pressure washer you have. You need to follow the instructions of the exact unit you are using. For example, with my high end Kranzle, it's recommended to shut the water off, then run the pump for 20 seconds with no water, to evacuate all remaining water from the system. But that doesn't apply to all pressure washers.

    Hey Pan! that was awesome, having my 2 favourite detailers join forces!! Pan, I am really struggling to decide mostly on the GW 2300 or the GW 2700…it’s mostly for washing my cars..one thing I’m worried about is the 14 amp because I have the standard 15 amp GFI to plug into..not really wanting to switch to a 20 amp right way. My Sunjoe 3000 just died last weekend, and that was a 14.5 amp I believe. The con on the 2300 for me is the delay that spits out a lot of soap out of the foam cannon before the pressure starts, lotsa waste. My biggest con on the 2700 is the continuous motor. So my 2 questions are should I get the 2300 or the 2700 and can I run it on a 15 amp. Thank you again for posting another Pantastic video!!

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Before my higher end Kranzle unit, I had a Karcher K5 pressure washer for over a decade and it was very good, still running like new. Only issue is it had proprietary Karcher fittings, so you needed bayonet adapters to attach things like a foam cannon, and the K series usually aren't serviceable. They're meant for light duty home use, not for heavy duty commercial use, hence the lower price.
      We don't have the K7 in North America, but it's their highest end in Europe. Seems like a very good unit Simon.

    Love my Greenworks 2000 psi at 1.2. Use the Uberflex 50 ft. hose. Now I’m not a pro detailer but I use on our vehicles at the house and other family members. But it’s not all about the pressure washer but the products you use as well. Washer and products go hand in hand. And lastly, is the time you take to wash the vehicle. If you think you can wash, dry and detail in half an hour, you probably won’t get great results.

    Hi Pan! I just assembled my new Simpson Clean Machine pressure washer. It has 1700 PSI, 1.0 GPM output. It came with only 2 nozzles: Turbo and 15 degree. I want to get a 40 degree tip to have a better fan for the water when washing my car. However, I'm confused about what size tip to get. The nozzle has 154100 on it. Most of the online nozzle calculators put the nozzle size I need at 1.53. Question...Do nozzles come in that size or should I get a 2? I hope that made sense. I'm not a pro detailer, just a lady on a budget that wants to keep her ride clean, shiny and pristine. Please advise. Thanks!

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Unfortunately, there isn't a simple answer to that. As each pressure washer is different, you'd have to do a lot of math and calculations to get the appropriate orifice size for your tip, to maximize water flow. The larger the orifice, the more water flow you get (GPM) but you decrease the pressure (which is fine, as we want to be between 1000 to 2000 psi to wash cars, never going above 2000 psi).
      If you decrease the orifice size, you increase the pressure (PSI) but get lower water flow (GPM). Higher GPM is always more desirable when washing cars.
      If you watch Obsessed Garage and how Matt tests different tips with different orifices to get to a number he likes, you'll see just how much work can be involved. See here: th-cam.com/video/1258SWctIKo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=MCnwIQVZtjm3155_
      Matt tested a Karcher K1700 which has a rating of 1700 PSI and 1.1 GPM output (very similar to your unit's specs) and he recommends using a 3.0 orifice to maximize water output (GPM).
      So my quick guess would be a 3.0 orifice, 40 degree tip for you. Something like this: amzn.to/3Lru5FH

    Josh recommended upgrading the pressure hose to uberflex; looks like a nice upgrade. However, I noted that the Active VE52 uses M22-15 and I can't find a uberflex source for the 15. It might be useful to mention that in the videos; note the connection specifics.

      On Active pressure washers, it was discovered that Uberflex and Flexzilla hoses aren't recommended, as they aren't steel braided hoses and could cause those pressure washers to surge.

    The more affordable AR Blue Clean models: $150-$250, sometimes you can find units near the 100$ price point on sale. The brand, is it better quality than Ryobi, Craftsman, Green Works, etc.?

    Pan can you help me out. Im some what confused, I was trying to set up a gravity set up. But I’ve noticed my 125 gal tank on a ryobi 2100 psi @2.1 gpm. On my dry run test my pressure washer couldn’t keep up as the water dropped in the tank. At first I thought the pw was going bad. So I went out and got the same spec ryobi. Worked perfectly with lower level but I’m back at square one. Another channel recommended that I get the ve52. I was thinking I would just get a harbor freight water pump but they stated that those pumps need a bypass back to the pump. Then they stated I can down size to the ryobi 1800 1.2gpm. If I want gravity feed. I did notice that the 2100 I went through almost 20 gallons on my f250. Maybe my water management is not so great right now starting out. But I don’t want to be in a position of running out of water while doing a customers car. My orifice on my tips are 1.0.
    I forgot to mention I would have to change all my connections and hose if I go with the VE52

      I don’t operate a gravity fed setup so I can’t really help you on that topic. You’d have to reach out to mobile detailers like Top Class Detail and see what they recommend.

    My only suggestion for a Kranzle upgrade, if you work on boats, make sure you upgrade to the gray hose. The black hose leaves black marks and water behind.

    Greenworks GWP3000 electric. 3000psi 2GPM, 110VAC, and uses standard 1/4" connections. If you need more power, look at the 3000PSI 5GPM 220VAC North Star electric, which is absolutely amazing if you have a 220VAC NEMA connection for it in your garage. Both also come with uberflex hoses.

    Pan I bought the Activ VE56 last year. I upgraded with the OG package, hose and Mosmatic and it works great. Since detailing is only a hobby for me it was a good choice, although I will rack up those 100 hrs pretty quick and probably next year need to replace it. Thanks for a great collaboration with Josh.

    I bought 11 yrs ago from Northern tool a Northstar Honda 3000 psi gas pressure washer..... at the time it was $799 back then..... has a hose to inject chemicals if needed with multiple individual tips including the chemical tip and so on.... was the best investment I made back than..... everything is made of metal including the gas tank..... it literally outlasted every 1 of these because it still runs today 11 yrs later.... I tried multiple versions of pressure washers before but honda for the price is superior in every way and built to last..... same goes for generators by Honda.... as far as the accessories I am willing to see what I can adapt in my day to day flow...... but as far as pressure washers Honda is your best bet (as long as you maintain it)

      Anything between 1000 to 2000 psi is perfect for washing cars. It’s not recommended to go above 2000 psi to wash cars.

    Imo the best value for us Canadians is the Simoniz Platinum rebranded ve52, got mine for 230$ on sale. I also have a Powerfist pressure washer which sells for 120$ at Princess auto as my back up, it gets about the same numbers as the Ryobi. If I were to spend 1000$+, I'd buy a 3.1gpm 1800psi unit from greencanpump. It wouldn't be mobile at all but it performs the same as a kws700 for half the price!

    Just wanted to ask between the K1122TST and K1322TS and Active 2.0 which would you suggest would be best for mobile detailing?

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For value and it’s compact size, likely the Active 2.0
      If you want the best, 1122 and 1322 are tops but the 1322 would be more suited for a mobile setup as it’s more compact. Same motor, different size factor.

    So I have a 3000 psi pressure washer😂 which is really good but it’s way too strong from what I’ve read online is there any way to make it safe to wash cars with obviously I’m not washing them point blank but any recommendations or should I just buy something less powerful would appreciate tips or something

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah it’s never recommended to go past 2000 psi when washing cars. 1000 to 2000 is the sweet spot.
      I set my pressure washer to 1100 psi when washing cars.
