1:54 Hi! What type is the automatic transmission? I have 1.0 hybrid 155le engine (M0DC). The transmission is 7dct300. Just thinking about the balance shaft. Is the 7dct300 have it or not?
This one has the 8 Speed Auto. The one your car has is the 7 speed dual clutch. So to be honest I am not sure. I know the manuals do not have the "balance shaft". But for the dual clutch gearboxes I don't know. I can check on my workshop data system for you. If I find anything I will update this. One way to check is to put your reg in a parts site and see what oil pump they recomment is compatible (but this option is not always 100% accurate).
Yes, the manual doesn't mention the balance shaft. It only mention the type of transmission. I thought about looking on the part sites too. Thanks for looking in your database.
Would need the reg no. But you cannot give this information out. Maybe ring ford ask for a quote for some work. Sometimes they put the part no.s on the quotes. Or if you do your own servicing whip the sump off when you do the oil change next?.
What was the mileage of the car and what caused the issue? I also have the 1.0 155 (M0DC) with automatic gearbox and I change the oil at 15k km, not at 30k km, as recommended by Ford, with genuine 5w20 Ford spec oil (Castrol).
Mileage was 47,000, full dealership history. Oil Pump Wet Belt ripped all the teeth. Stupid design they updated the timing to a chain but kept the oil pump with a wet belt. Would have been better to run the oil pump from a chain also.
@@ionutoanca I know a few people who have a manual transmission. They don't have a balance shaft and belt tensioner. The belt in a manual transmission is not damaged. It's not exposed to that much load. That's why I'm looking for whether the 7dct300 transmission has a balance shaft or not?
I have seen a few manual ones do the same thing. But for some strange reason on auto's the belt goes more than the pump. But on the manuals the pump fails and the belt lasts longer.

Have searched everywhere I could without your exact car details I can't pinpoint. But I have seen 3 versions being sold for the hybrid.
@@JDTAuto Thank you looking after it. What kind of details do you need? Or what these 3 versions?

What was the total cost of the operation?
Can't remember how much we paid for the parts obviously I get trade prices. The labour would depend on where you go.

@@JDTAuto Yes. It’s very strange.
