That all depends on if you have have addiction problems. It helped me getting a wife, who I loved so much, a house, 2 amazing kids. But eventually those demons came back when I got diagnosed with melanoma. And she left me, then those demons wouldn't leave me alone. They don't bother me on the 3 days per week I have my beautiful kids, but the second they go back to their mums, the demons are back. Life is tough, and everyone is different. But good luck to everyone, I hope everyone has their best life.

That’s what people don’t understand, It’s not that we think money will bring us happiness, we’ve heard our entire lives that it doesn’t, we know that… we just want to live comfortably and breathe in peace knowing the house is fully paid and I can’t lose it, my car is paid, and my bills are on auto-pay. There’s not much to stress about once those 3 things are taken care of.

I’m glad that I found my way at 19 I was living in the streets sleeping in my broken down car heavy drug use. I got many second chances went through four rehabs one group home for a year and then my last program when I was 19 I’m glad I got my crap together wanna die. I had an outer body experience when I was 18 heavy drug use LSD what was shown was myself astro project I saw myself sleeping. I must’ve died for a few seconds and when I was viewing myself, I wasn’t even scared. It was peaceful when I snapped out of it then it scared me. I got clean after that yeah 32 years clean now went onto get married and raise a family, it’s been A blessing for me because it’s all I ever wanted was a family
That’s the point. He grew up with a Silver Spoon and from what I heard he was always a dickhead and entitled regardless of substance abuse. He’s from Ottawa my hometown and went to a really uppity private school. He never had to struggle in life like most people. He was born into wealth. Classic rich kid with rich kid issues.
RIP Matthew. I remember the day that I realized my depression was real. I saved a box from a dump run and it turned out there was some 18k and 24k gold pieces inside. I brought a few to a jewelry store that buys. He ended up handing me $2600 cash. Times were rough, so I was literally overjoyed... ...for about 5 minutes. Then my mind flooded with all the responsibilities and debts I could free myself from, but still not come close to making that much difference, and - oops - no more joy. Still, I was very grateful. But I realized how easy that temporary happiness just disappeared like a fart in the wind. Depression sucks. At least in my case, it's gotten much easier to deal with over time. I have put a lot of work in, but for most it doesn't usually improve with age. I'm lucky. Blessings!
Remember material dreams dont solve problems. I thought making enough money to get my kids what ever they wanted and what ever i wanted was the dream i wanted. It wasnt. In order to make that amount of money i bearly seen my children. It wasnt until last year that i woke up and realized this. Being home with my children was the correct dream. We get so wrapped up in the materlistic world we forget what truly can make us happy.

About 3/4 of the way through reading the NT the Word of God answered my question about returning to the church I was raised in was answered. What I was reading in the Word of God wasn't at all what I had taught throughout my 18-years as a Catholic. Over time, acquainting myself with God's Word and learning about Jesus I went from utter darkness into childlike faith, forgiven, restored and HOPE. At 75 navigating various tribulations and difficulties, the Lord has been with me every step of the way sustaining, encouraging and enabling me to live life like a new creature in development. LIFE makes no sense without God. I pray for each reader that stumbles upon this will seek the Way, the Truth and New Life in Christ. Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God that He might exalt you in due time. The woman at work discipled me so sweetly and so well. We took breaks together where I could ask questions about what I didn't quite understand or thought was downright questionable. She would say, "this is how I understand it," and then the next day she would bring me a list of scriptures from the old and new testaments for me to look up and read to help me better understand and make my own conclusions trusting the Lord to help me. Died of his addiction sadly. He had Ketamine in his body but it wasnt on a day he was doing ketamine therapy so he was becoming addicted to another substance sadly

In the article i read, im sorry i cant remember where its from, he was apparently doing ketamine therapy, which is being used and studied for helping stoping drug addiction. Buuut ketamine can be abused too because its euphoric and sedative and dissociative. He hadn’t had his prescribed ket therapy session in days and so he was using it on the off days, and so from those supposed facts i deduce that he was abusing another substance and its why he didnt wake and drowned because he was in an anesthetic state and slid under the water sadly. Im not a fan of his or don’t like Friends but I’m an addict, iso there is solidarity, but also i don’t want to see someone die, especially like that. He died pathetically in a way, such a shock actually cuz i had watched him on youtube, his talking about addiction on tv news shows. So i wanted to see if drugs killed him.. they partly did.
This is why people say becoming wealthy just magnifies your personality and whatever strengths or faults, good or evil you have. It also explains why celebrities run into so many problems.

So even with all the depressions and other mental problems he had he was about to do a beautiful thing and bring family’s together laughing all round the world ! Anyone with demons needs to dig deep and find out what the demons are. I had trouble finding what my demons were and recently realised that opinions of work members, extended family members affects me. It affected my personal and professional sides of life. I was doing well career-wise, still have the home but certain things came crashing down and now I realise I feel worthless when people think less of me, or say bad things about me. Now I know the cause of my demons, and need to fix it, change my perspective so I don't are as much what people from outside my circle think of me. But everyone may have different demons and we need to find the cause of them. It's the first step to being able to fix them
As someone who is on autism spectrum have PTSD ADHD down syndrome depression and being a recovering alcoholic and drugs addict ( coke, fent, meth, horse, oxy, speed, xan) , this episode hit me harder than most.

If major wealth mattered to me, I would have stayed married to the multi- million dollar family that I married into. But emotional and physical abuse wasn't worth it. Unfortunately because his sister was a judge and politics played out in the case, he got physical custody of the children. Had I known that would happen, I would have stayed to protect my daughter's. God will judge that family.. as he does everyone.
For those that have not read his book or even better listen to it in his own voice it's truly an incredible story of his life spoken in his own voice, which is really really cool. I listen to it before he passed away, which made it even more insightful.

Honestly owning my own home, having the woman of my dreams, and having baby has fixed a lot of my problem.
The family and love is what can make life complete and whole. He had attained material success but not something deeper.

That’s what people don’t understand, It’s not that we think money will bring us happiness, we’ve heard our entire lives that it doesn’t, we know that… we just want to live comfortably and breathe in peace knowing the house is fully paid and I can’t lose it, my car is paid, and my bills are on auto-pay. There’s not much to stress about once those 3 things are taken care of.

It is a distraction or a means of escape that is basically harmless. Drugs and alcohol are not the only types of addiction.

I’m glad that I found my way at 19 I was living in the streets sleeping in my broken down car heavy drug use. I got many second chances went through four rehabs one group home for a year and then my last program when I was 19 I’m glad I got my crap together wanna die. I had an outer body experience when I was 18 heavy drug use LSD what was shown was myself astro project I saw myself sleeping. I must’ve died for a few seconds and when I was viewing myself, I wasn’t even scared. It was peaceful when I snapped out of it then it scared me. I got clean after that yeah 32 years clean now went onto get married and raise a family, it’s been A blessing for me because it’s all I ever wanted was a family

That’s the point. He grew up with a Silver Spoon and from what I heard he was always a dickhead and entitled regardless of substance abuse. He’s from Ottawa my hometown and went to a really uppity private school. He never had to struggle in life like most people. He was born into wealth. Classic rich kid with rich kid issues.

I remember the day that I realized my depression was real. I saved a box from a dump run and it turned out there was some 18k and 24k gold pieces inside.
I brought a few to a jewelry store that buys. He ended up handing me $2600 cash. Times were rough, so I was literally overjoyed...
...for about 5 minutes. Then my mind flooded with all the responsibilities and debts I could free myself from, but still not come close to making that much difference, and - oops - no more joy.
Still, I was very grateful. But I realized how easy that temporary happiness just disappeared like a fart in the wind. Depression sucks.
At least in my case, it's gotten much easier to deal with over time. I have put a lot of work in, but for most it doesn't usually improve with age. I'm lucky.

Remember material dreams dont solve problems. I thought making enough money to get my kids what ever they wanted and what ever i wanted was the dream i wanted. It wasnt. In order to make that amount of money i bearly seen my children. It wasnt until last year that i woke up and realized this. Being home with my children was the correct dream. We get so wrapped up in the materlistic world we forget what truly can make us happy.

At work the next I told a coworker who had witnessed to me of the goodness of God and how Jesus' death in my behalf to restore me to God made it possible to be forgiven and restored to the Father. The next day she brought me a living paraphrase of the New Testament. Fifty-three years later, I'm glad that I didn't experience any unique emotions or chills or anything physical as a confirmation of the 'legal' transaction that occurred alone in my apartment between me and God. I began reading the New Testament (wondering if I should return to Roman Catholicism). About 3/4 of the way through reading the NT the Word of God answered my question about returning to the church I was raised in was answered. What I was reading in the Word of God wasn't at all what I had taught throughout my 18-years as a Catholic. Over time, acquainting myself with God's Word and learning about Jesus I went from utter darkness into childlike faith, forgiven, restored and HOPE. At 75 navigating various tribulations and difficulties, the Lord has been with me every step of the way sustaining, encouraging and enabling me to live life like a new creature in development. LIFE makes no sense without God. I pray for each reader that stumbles upon this will seek the Way, the Truth and New Life in Christ. Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God that He might exalt you in due time. The woman at work discipled me so sweetly and so well. We took breaks together where I could ask questions about what I didn't quite understand or thought was downright questionable. She would say, "this is how I understand it," and then the next day she would bring me a list of scriptures from the old and new testaments for me to look up and read to help me better understand and make my own conclusions trusting the Lord to help me. I don't regret confessing who I was and what I'd become (God sees everything about us) I cannot regret pleading, "Jesus, if you're real, come into my life and make me a new creature." That's the first step...

Guess drugs was numbing the demons inside him. Until you suffer and get bruised for life, no one can judge. Had a f××××d u childhood never turned to drugs some type of force kept me going. It doesn't mean that I never wanted to end it all.........

@@harrambou9468 news, the coroner released cause of death. Drowning and he had ketamine in his system at a level that shows he was high that night. In the article i read, im sorry i cant remember where its from, he was apparently doing ketamine therapy, which is being used and studied for helping stoping drug addiction. Buuut ketamine can be abused too because its euphoric and sedative and dissociative. He hadn’t had his prescribed ket therapy session in days and so he was using it on the off days, and so from those supposed facts i deduce that he was abusing another substance and its why he didnt wake and drowned because he was in an anesthetic state and slid under the water sadly. Im not a fan of his or don’t like Friends but I’m an addict, iso there is solidarity, but also i don’t want to see someone die, especially like that. He died pathetically in a way, such a shock actually cuz i had watched him on youtube, his talking about addiction on tv news shows. So i wanted to see if drugs killed him.. they partly did.

So even with all the depressions and other mental problems he had he was about to do a beautiful thing and bring family’s together laughing all round the world ! Anyone with demons needs to dig deep and find out what the demons are. I had trouble finding what my demons were and recently realised that opinions of work members, extended family members affects me. It affected my personal and professional sides of life. I was doing well career-wise, still have the home but certain things came crashing down and now I realise I feel worthless when people think less of me, or say bad things about me. Now I know the cause of my demons, and need to fix it, change my perspective so I don't are as much what people from outside my circle think of me. But everyone may have different demons and we need to find the cause of them. It's the first step to being able to fix them

As someone who is on autism spectrum have PTSD ADHD down syndrome depression and being a recovering alcoholic and drugs addict ( coke, fent, meth, horse, oxy, speed, xan) , this episode hit me harder than most.
If you read Mathew's memoir, he had serious issues since he was a young boy which led to a lifelong battle with substance abuse.
Simple things won't make you happy if your ungrateful.

If major wealth mattered to me, I would have stayed married to the multi- million dollar family that I married into. But emotional and physical abuse wasn't worth it. Unfortunately because his sister was a judge and politics played out in the case, he got physical custody of the children. Had I known that would happen, I would have stayed to protect my daughter's. God will judge that family.. as he does everyone.
