LOVE and MISS Craig Ferguson! He was SO fantastic on late night TV!
It took till 1:10:00 for him to light up and start being his fun and extroverted self again. Seems like being depressed is his baseline mood since leaving the show.
@@UnsaltedCashew38 Disagree.
Miss Craig & his talk show.
@@joquartobeans398 Same. He is a fantastic interviewer. I'll look up his podcast. It will be nice to hear him again.
.. .. who's that at the 🚪.. ..
Craig is just the absolute best. Never any bullshit with him.
Best host, enjoyable to watch with a genuine personality =Craig Ferguson
Best interviewer / best questions = Sean Evans
I’d feel so fortunate to be friends with either one. Both seem like genuinely great people.
Pure wit ! He seemed to always come up with a line that just worked every time huh?
"I'm tired of fucking relentless positivity" is one of the best phrases I've heard in a long time
late late show was the best on tv. him flirting with all of his guests was hilarious for the audience and the guests loved it.
I think that one of my disappointments was I could not stay up to watch both Letterman and Craig. It was one of the things I looked forward to when I retired. Then they both “retired” at the same time.
Craig was one of the best interviewers of all time. He made it about the guest. Conan, e.g., wanted to be in the limelight too much
Over the years, I cannot tell you how many people kept lauding Craig Ferguson's late night hosting to me. Glad to see people remember his defintiely original take.
Bring Ferguson BACK Late Night sucks without him
Sucks EXTREMELY without him.
He said won't do it.
Think he’s tired and dosent want it
@@terrymckenzie8786 I used to think that about some jobs I had as a kid but in his case, he was a natural at it and that is why we all miss his arse so much! Sad!
Miss you Craig Ferguson ❤
He has a podcast on I❤️radio that is really good. Joy. He interviews lots of people on the subject of joy in life. It’s Craig, and it’s very good.
He's still alive!
Same🎉
@3506Dodge Daaa
Tom Papa and Craig Ferguson together warrants a like before the view ❤❤❤❤
Agreed
Guilty❤👍🏼
The accent of Craig Ferguson is what caused me to tune in and keep coming back to watch again and again. 🥰
This is one of the better podcast convos I’ve heard in a long time. A lot of it I needed to hear. Some casual wise words from experienced guys. There’s an elegance to de-escalating some of life’s more serious issues.
Check out" blocks" if you like comedy and therapy.
Miss this guy doing late night, but I'm glad he's happy.
Don't miss him leering at young women.
“I worried about my weight and my accent and then BOOM they hired James Corden when I left.”
Craig...on the off chance you may ever read this comment...
Speaking for myself and tons of fans of Craig's... we miss you and I don't watch any late night anymore... these days I watch clips of your show on youtube... a lot from Jay Leno Fly channel.
The vortex of Scottish charm may be a part of why I so enjoyed you...
The accent... sexy
Appearance... sexy/ handsome... I'm sorry you were concerned about your weight... we thought you looked good all the time.
Personality... charming
I know you mentioned you didn't go to college and left high school, but intelligence isn't about schooling... there are a lot of PhDs that are extremely stupid... they simply have expertise, or have been told they are experts, in one area.
Your innate intelligence is obvious.
You seem to have a good heart.
You are pretty open and honest about your past.
You are so funny and I loved when you cracked yourself up or Secretariat or Geoff Peterson cracked you up.
You were so wonderful with the guests.
You are such an amazing flirt...it was fun to watch.
I do wish you had enjoyed doing and continued with your late night show... you are so missed!!!
I miss your impression of Michael Caine, Sean Connery... I loved when you had Michael Caine on... Anthony Hopkins... not enough time to list all the guests... it seemed like your guests had more fun on your show than any other.
Wishing you and your family well.
P. S.
On hunting... for people who are not vegetarian or vegan, many hunt to be able to afford protein... especially these days with inflation, people can't always afford buying meat from the grocery store. Most hunters, but not all, are very big supporters of wildlife and keeping nature healthy so they can always have game around to feed their families. There are of course some who don't consume what they hunt, which i don't like...trophy hunters, but most deer hunters, turkey hunters, duck hunters do so because they enjoy procuring their own food and some also do so because store bought animal protein is too expensive.
Many also grow their own fruits and vegetables on their land. They often believe in self sufficiency.
I wanted to like Corden especially because he was on Dr. Who, but he comes off as an ass in public.
Richard Dawson was pissed in Hogan's Heroes and they wouldn't let him use his natural accent, Big Arguments, NOBODY WILL UNDERSTAND YOU. So he did the fakey accent, and halfway through the first season The Beatles were on Ed Sullivan... Dawson is from Liverpool...
And Corden isn’t funny…or entertaining. His whole bit was the karaoke routine. Wore it out. And he is an ass.
I loved his accent! It was what first attracted me and then it was the comedy and the way his brain works.
Love and Miss Craig Ferguson!
I'd like to meet, "Love and miss Craig Ferguson". 😅
Who you calling Miss?
So gifted.......the ability to be funny in any given situation....to have that power.....so gifted
Well, things have changed for Craig. I thought he moved to Scotland and gave up standup. Now he's back in the States, doing standup. Good for you, buddy. We need ya.
Tom, thanks so much for having Craig on. I love his humor and views. I did miss him when he left the TV show. You put him back in my mind. I'm going to go attend one of his tour dates now.
Listen to his podcast! It's phenomenal.
Moving to Scotland later this year and you know I’ll be on the lookout for Craig in and around Glasgow. ❤
Man Craig has aged like a damn fine wine
*kombucha
Apart from suckin' up to that asshole Cruise, he still is sharp.
Has gained a few pounds tho...
True. He’s a handsome man
A good Chianti ? Lol.
Yes he has!
I concur. Craig Ferguson, 100 % .
Greatest late night host to ever do it. TV was never as good as it was with Craigy Ferg.
Fun to see Craig again. Thank you both.
Tom has the best taste in guests. Absolute legends and the convo is great. Big thumbs up!
So good to see Craig . Miss your crazy quirky mind and heart.
Craig had the GREATEST and most UNIQUE talk show in the history of talk shows. ❤
Craigy Ferg!! The best late night host there has ever been!!!
I love Craig Ferguson *so* much! He's absolutely delightful in his grumpiness. Ecstatic to see him pop up in my feed; glad he's doing well, and what fun to listen to the chat!
Thank you Tom.
Thank you Craig.
Thanks - I miss Craig’s Late Night terribly. But really shouldn’t have been up so late… I respect his getting out.
I was lucky enough to see it taped twice.
Glad he’s happy. 😃
Missing Mr FERG 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉I enjoy this conversation so much🎉🎉🎉
I didn't realize Craig finally had a podcast (where have I been?), immediate subscribe!
No, we really don’t need Tom Cruise. But we need smart, intelligent and brutally honest comedians. They are keeping us on our toes but laughing at the same time. And we need that now more than ever.
I didn't see Craig until after he was off TV.... love to meet him.
If you haven't already stumbled across any of the clips of Craig and his gay robot sidekick Geoff then the next time you are having a bad day just pull some of that up here on YT sick back and laugh your troubles away! It was so damn funny and unique
The movie Saving Grace, by and starring Craig Ferguson, has the most perfect ending of any film I've ever seen. A brilliant movie. His talent as a talk show host, writer, comedian and actor is off the charts. Proud that he's "one of us." Loved seeing him again here. Thanks!
I LOVE Craig’s Scottish accent!
the best late night show man ,,ever,,,.teaching men how to chat to women......he's the Master..
A lot of people *physically* survive their childhood only to find they're going to be living the life of Sisyphus until they fix the "solutions" they developed to survive their childhood.
Late night died when Craig left.
Late Night TV is absolute garbage now. Political non-comedy.
I gradually understand that one of most valuable source of entertainment and moral education is to be witness to a respectful conversation between two whitty and experienced people.
Great comedian
I miss Craig love him so much
Thumbs up before watching. Anything with Craig is gonna be good.
Thanks Mr. Tom Papa for interviewing Mr. Craig Ferguson.
what a great conversation! thank you both.
Loved Craig's take on social media. Reminds me of Mike Tyson's quote "Social media made y'all way too comfortable with disrespecting people and not getting punched in the face for it."
He gets better looking every year. Miss him SOOO much!
It was so funny when he said that he worried about his accent and weight when he was on the Late Late Show and then hired James Corden. 🤣 He was not a very good host at all. He had no natural flair for it. Talking of Britany Spiers, Craig was the 1st one I heard say to leave her alone because she didn't deserve the mocking she received. I loved him for his humanity. He's easy on the eye, too. 😊😊
Need more Craig so so funny
He did something totally unique with Late Night. Craig, Conan, and Letterman we all great, yet totally different from each other. Now, late-night TV is a giant sea of middle-of-the-road sameness.
Had the pleasure of watching Craig's act in Pittsburgh right at the end of covid and it was a lot of fun. His energy really is amazing and the only thing that would have made it better is subtitles, lol. His Scottish accent was sometimes really hard to decipher.
Tom, your podcast is awesome. Keep making the bread.
Absolutely, the best late night host. He's sorely missed.
Best unscripted conversation ever. Tom Pappa does a fantastic job of hosting.
These 2 are great together ❤
I don't pretend to know this gentleman or his life's challenges, but without hesitation I have to say he knows how to entertain and professionally relate to those around him as he performs. Be well sir!
To be fed your perspective robs you of your own perspective. About as wise as anything I’ve ever heard.
It is amazing, how any event in space-time continuum, that has Craig Ferguson anywhere near it, just becomes an unaired episode of The Late Late Show with CraigyFerg. I absolutely fond of how brutally honest and genuine Craig is.
I never was a fan of talk shows. I fell in love with CF&GP that instant, although I had to watch everything on youtube when show was still on (I'm from Russia). I tried to find a new hero after Craig's retirement - nope, turned out what's on your TV right now is pretty much the same crap, driven by same old patterns.
Craig was real like drunken uncle living in your parents' house attic for the past 10 years is real. He just didn't give a fuck, which, along with his charisma, made that show so gorgeous.
I've just understood, that for some reason my comment looks like an epitaph - didn't plan it that way and blame my age. From some time on everything you say is either rant or epitaph.
I love you, CF and JP, you made my life better.
Love these two. Laughed alot. Thanks
I love Craig Ferguson so much. I miss him and his jokes a lot. He had the classiest late night show of them all.
Ah, two greats! Just saw Tom in the road and never let a day go by without watching a Late, Late Show clip from the amazing Craig.
My favorite late night show, have seen him live; miss him and those times when we could laugh at ourselves and love America!
Ferg Craigerson and Conan are late night TV to me! That's it, those two guys were the only two late night personalities that I watched!
At first they laughed at a podcasts😮 now everyone has a podcast.
Greg Ferguson is one of the greats.
Miss you Craig! So very thankful for TH-cam!
Aww Craigums, love that man so much! Wish we could see him more, would love to catch one of his shows.
With Jack Klugman on the wall ahahahaha! Love it!
Craig was the second best US Late Night TV chat host - a natural, no fake bs and fake laughing and genuinely funny and brought that out in his guests 🙏🏻🙌🏼
These guys are so awesome and unique in their own way and I absolutely applaud them for their dedication.
Everyone should have a Craig.
Great to see and listen to Mr. Craig Ferguson.
I am 49 and have never viewed anyone on late night TV, except Dean Martin in his late 60’s heyday (thru the magic of the youtube time machine), to be on the same level as Craig Ferguson. All the others can’t hold a candle to him.
The Dean Martin show was on prime time. Johnny Carson was the king of the late night castle. Check out the JC tonight show with Art Carney as guest
@@marcob6880 I am very much aware of Carson, Letterman.. and can appreciate a lot of what they could do.
Love me some Craig.
I miss Craig Ferguson hanging out with Robin Williams... Chlamydia is here lol
It was actually ”Chlamydia, your dad’s here” I don’t remember the quote about her sister Gonorrhea though :)
What killed me on that segment was Robin was riffing and said, “Hey Chlamydia your Dad’s here!” and he kept going and it took Craig a few seconds before it registered what Robin said, then Craig starts laughing his ass off and asked Robin “ Did you just say Chlamydia your Dad’s here?!!” They both laugh so hard they’re crying 😂. I just loved it!
Miss Craig Ferguson. He’s a hoot.
I miss him.. only late night show worth watching in the last 20 years and he said fuck it...
Love Craig Ferguson 💙 ❤️ ♥️. Thank You for Having Him On You TH-cam Channel. Bread Looking Great 👍 👌 😋.
I was born and raised in America and am of Scottish, Irish, English, and German descent at 45 moved to Thailand where I have lived for 25 years.
I am such a fan of Craig Ferguson. I went to live shows 5 times (from Ventura). I'm silly happy to find out that Joe was the horse. & I love bread & carbs. Thanks Tom!
So lucky!
I miss Craig very much got me through some sad times. Only he could make me laugh😊I think he's adorable. Thank you, Tom made me happy 😊 xx🦋😂
I love this so much. Craig Ferguson my hero.
Loved this! Miss you on late night, Craig! Great to spend time with you again. ❤❤❤❤❤
Craig Ferguson is so brilliant! Miss him on late night TV. My daughter took me to watch a taping of his show. ❤❤❤❤❤ He is an exceptional talent. Jon Stewart came back. Wish Craig would too.
I've always appreciated Craig Ferguson, but I was so impressed with his insightful comments on a wide range of topics within entertainment media. What a great listen!
His son is 13????? I remember when he was born!!!!! Miss craigy ferg nightly
I remember when his younger son was born, too. A few of us die-hearted “catlady” fans stayed up all night back then, watching the tweets for news about his birth. Things were different then. Social media had not yet turned evil.
@@marybrewer2203 I remember those times too. Sounds like we were "cheeky monkies" around the same time. I live in Nashville and I saw him in person a couple of times. One year I met 5 Facebook friends from 3 other states. We all met for dinner before his show - such fun!!
Syd the cursing 🐇
Being Scottish and now an ex pat in Arizona I can relate.
That is one gorgeous man. Absolutely aging with grace.
God I miss Craig!
Tom’s walls are my new kitchen floor. I consider this a sign.😉 So good to see and hear Craig Ferguson. Like seeing an old friend.. Thanks, Tom Papa. I needed to hear the things y’all discussed. Amen…so glad Craig is writing another book. I stories are wonderful.
America has lots of input from all the immigrants that came here. "Irish, Scottish" and Germans had a lot of impact as well. I would say Mexicans and Italians, etc. has all had impacts as well.
2 of my FAV DUDES!!!
Miss seeing you nightly Craig!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Tom!!!
❤️👏🏻👏🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
Ferguson was the best late night host, by far.
I saw Craig’s audition week the summer after Craig Kilborn ( who I liked because I Got his bit which came off as narcissism to many..). Of the whole summer’s guest offerings, Craig stood out like a sore thumb. He had a natural ability to humanize his guests.. especially some of the big names.. that was instantly engaging, funny and quirky in a way that was perfect for herbal enthusiasts as well. The show was low budget, so the suits gave him a long leash. And it massively paid off.
You know I got into Craig show late when he only had a few years left as it goes and I really miss him just so good at what his show was pretty much the same every night but then you watched it the next night and it's like you're watching it for the first time now that says something that says it all right there
Craig, to this day I feel you are the best late night host I saw, I still love to see your shows here in yt. You are seriously missed.
This was fuckin fantastic. Just saw Papa in Charlotte, bout to go see CF here in a couple weeks. Psyched.
Keep up the Great Show, Papa !
Ferguson never ceases to entertain me with a straightforward approach. Absolutely no celebrity bullshit!
I just adore Craig Ferguson. I wish he’d write an autobiography.
I don’t know why he ever worried about his accent. A great deal of charm from folks across the pond is their accents.
He has written an autobiography. It's out there already.
@@palebluedot747it's really good
@@palebluedot747 Oh, thank you.
He did write an autobiography AMERICAN ON PURPOSE, it was published in 2009. It’s a great read and it’s on audiobook now.
Favorite movie, "Saving Grace". Fun interview. Thanks!
Craig? Dude rules.
If he went back to late night TV, he'd instantly either be the top rated show or be "canceled". God!, I miss the old ways.
Craig was the best on late night tv. I don't watch any of those shows anymore. David Letterman was my favorite too.
Always love seeing Craig, miss him like it appears most people do. Always a bummer though to hear how much he doesn't miss the show/doesn't seem to have liked it much. Kind of takes the air out of it all..
I heard him say on one of the rerun clips he was just tired of interviewing fing celebrities.
