Hey Jay you say you hit your body parts with 20 sets each but I count 12 sets total every time you do biceps? Are you including triceps in the 20+ sets?

Not a fan of spider curls at all- you have to go so light to be able to start the curl I don’t feel it works the bicep enough once the curl has begun. Yes I realize it ‘isolates’ the bicep, but have you ever done a curl that didn’t give you a bicep pump pretty much right away?
Dude he does not look better than 2009. In fact no body builder in history looked better than 2009 Jay. Current Jay does look better than probably 99% of all men in general.
@@zalapski9399 no no i said he looks better now than pre 2009 so everything prior to 09 but not including 09, as that is the year he got his proportions and aesthetics spot on and has kept it that. In terms of him now yes hes lost muscle mass but everything else is still there

I just tried an exercise on my own I dont know if it exists, Im sure someone has tried it like me but it blew my biceps, 🎉 especially the brachialis, spider hammer curl, neutral grip. If by any chance you haven't tried it, It would be so nice to know your take on it
I'd say it's the same effort as manual preacher curls with a barbell on stand but it's alot easier to curl than incline bench dumbbell curls that require a stable posture
@@sethottoman2588 I'm not talking about effort during the exercise. I mean how difficult the exercise is to set up. Incline DB curls require no setup, you just take the dumbbells and sit down on the incline bench. With spider curls, you need to place yourself on the bench, which is already hard when you can't use your hands, not to mention the unstability there.
@@marken816 That's why I said the setup is similar to manual preacher curls without the machine where you put a rack next to the seat and put a barbell on it and then lean forward to lift the barbell off the rack for preacher curls. And trust me spider curls are easier to curl when you set yourself stably, but incline bench dumbbell curls require a proper posture and they really take a toll to curl the dumbbell more than preacher or spider curls

Preacher curls have always been one of my most favorite exercises to do . I love the pure isolation and it's easy on the joints.

I'd say it's the same effort as manual preacher curls with a barbell on stand but it's alot easier to curl than incline bench dumbbell curls that require a stable posture
Then...use dumbells..less set up...

usually for my bicep workouts ill do 3 exercises:
Spider curl-2 sets to failure
Preacher curl-2 sets to failure
Incline curl-2 sets to failure
12-15 sets of biceps are recommended per week
5-6 excercises in 40-45 mintues and leave the gym
Imagine having to adjust your workout because your shoulders are just TOO big.
You have to do em for complete development man.. preacher curls -sucks.
