Final Boss - Ansem II
Ansem is a button-masher. With four full HP bars, a vast deck filled with surprises, and a mean streak, he won't play around. Ansem's shadow also has a bad habit of interdicting attacks that you send his way. In short, you're in for a rough ride. This battle will test your ability to go head to head against a superb opponent to the maximum. You cannot rely on Dark Aura for damage since Ansem will often as not block it, the only sure way to slip in a sleight is to break one of his attacks with Dark Firaga and hit him with it.
You'll want to stay either on top of Ansem or below him; if you're lined up horizontally, he can hit you with Floor Bolt. If he uses Sleightblind, break it as soon as possible, both of his sleights are dangerous and you'll want to know when they're coming. To heal, use the King while Ansem is reloading his sizable deck. Otherwise, watch his cards carefully whenever he attacks. Use 0 cards to break his sleights when they form. It's essential to have 0 cards at all times, so reload your deck immediately when they run out.
Fighting Ansem can be very difficult. Be patient and persistent.

Seriously though, spamming attacks recklessly while raging "SUBMIT" is oldschool final boss material.

I still find Ansem II here to be the hardest final boss of the entirety of KH, honestly (that is if you don't cheese him with the Duel system in Re:CoM, or..., wing it like this).
I won in Re:CoM against him, without the duelling-system.
And I think it was WAY easier than Marluxia

As much as I would've liked to just wail on him with attack cards, I found that just didn't work for me. Instead, I had to spam Dark Firaga and pray I could get those Hi Potions out without having them interrupted. However, I was generally only able to get him down to 1/4 HP doing this before I'd die. It took me like a dozen increasingly aggravating re-tries before I remembered about the effect of Oogie Boogie's card (since I found that no matter how I tried to play then, Ansem would ALWAYS find a way to interrupt my Mickey cards, thus having an uninterruptable source of healing was absolutely critical). Then it became doable...

Xehanort was really trying hard as fucking hell to make riku the thirteen vessel through KH1 and COM then in DDD tried one last time as a dream since original riku was the first candidate as young xehanort had said
Don’t forget that Roxas was a second choice before Sora. Then they got the Riku Replica.
...its hilliarious how much more enjoyable reverse rebirth gba is than the base chain of memories.
The base game has a default fundamental flaw of the rng system just not being fair with the map or enemy cards, i kid you not by locking riku to a base game deck and making rng instead being based on what numbered door is blocking progression, akin to how you have some form of control with the brand damage by just wearing different attires in twewy (the second game Jupiter ever did with square),
It really makes a difference in progression.

I honestly don't know how the heck I beat him as a kid. My older brother couldn't do it but I did lol.
The developers needed to make a good impression on Riku's character development. Riku has a strong entrance and a brilliant endng.
Ansem is more along the lines of a superboss in this version of COM, which is something I love about this game. The GBA version is a legitimate challenge that rewards deck management and has sleights that aren't too OP (I'm looking at you RE.COM's sonic blade.) Card breaks also have more stunlock, making 0 cards a blessing for diffusing pressure.
I beat the game as a kid too. Still don't know how i managed tho.

when i start in the cards the riku's keyblade doesn't exist in the cards it only exist the kingdom key and the three wishes key can someone help me?
