This is one of the most painful projects I've ever made, something that I wanted to do for a very looong time but without being sure that it was even possible to accomplish. I just randomly asked my friend Keytotruth if it was possible to disable the Organization members' voices when fighting, without really expecting a positive response, and he actually created the code out of the blue in a jiff...
So this is one of my greatest hopes for KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.5 ReMIX, being able to fight the Chain of Memories Organization Members with their own english dub, quotes and grunts. In case you don't know, in KINGDOM HEARTS II FINAL MIX those Organization members sticked with their Japanese voices, the same sound files they used for the Japanese version of Re:Chain of Memories. If you played the English version of Re:Chain of Memories and heard their voices in battle, hearing them with the Japanese voices in KINGDOM HEARTS II FINAL MIX will sound weird.
Of course, since this game has English dub and Japanese text, they couldn't let these Organization members say proper battle quotes during a fight, since there were no English dubbers at the time, so what they did was just voicing them with random UH, AWW, OUCH, AAHHH, HAHAHAHA used for the Japanese version of Re:Chain of Memories.
The purpose of this video is showing you how it would seem a proper English version of KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.5 ReMIX, with the Chain of Memories Organization Members being voiced in English, with the same quotes and sound files used in the English version of Re:Chain of Memories.
Note that some of their Japanese grunts used in KH2 FINAL MIX don't even come from Re:CoM. When developing the game, they actually used the Re:CoM Japanese voice actors in order to record separated grunts for KH2 FINAL MIX exclusively.
So this project is not just a copy and paste of the sound files, but it's more like syncing them all together, choosing which sound file fits better than another in a certain moment of the battle, adjusting the sound level for EACH SOUND depending by the distance of the enemy from Sora, and so on.
00:01 - Larxene
I tried to keep her annoying as she is in Re:CoM, with her random laughs and her damned LIGHTNING! LIGHTNING! LIGHTNING! LIGHTNING! Her battle is one of the most annoying in KH2 FINAL MIX, since what you do is just hear her laughing and yelling with her Japanese voice, all the freaking time, for every single move she does. Hearing her say proper English quotes makes the battle more enjoyable and definitely reminds you of Re:CoM.
03:51 - Zexion
When using the Despell Reaction Command on him, Zexion used to make a funny scream, which unfortuantely was recorded only for KH2 FINAL MIX only. So there is not an equivalent English Re:CoM version for that scream, but I managed to find a very nice replacement anyway.
09:05 - Lexaeus
His rage and screams were easily imitable. He also has a lot of nice quotes, and I did my best to insert them all at the right moments.
13:26 - Vexen
Definitely the most funny to voice. More like how he does in Re:CoM, I let him talk/laugh when Sora does a finisher and still can't break his shield, and a grunt of surprise when Sora actually breaks it (just like when Riku breaks his defence in Re:CoM as well). I found perfect how there is a sound file of him saying "I have analyzed all of your data", and let him say that right when creating Sora's Anti-Form the first time.
17:07 - Marluxia
The hardest to voice, due to his quick movements and long combos. He also has so many good quotes, and finding the right moment to use them was not easy at all, especially since his attacks style in the final battle in Re:CoM is very different from this one in KH2 FINAL MIX.
(I accidentally disabled Genie's and Peter Pan's Summons sound files too, so I had to voice both of them myself)

- Level 45, Critical Mode. Didn't want to fight the Data on level 99 or the battles would be way too short. I just increased Sora's defense and kept his attack low, so I could be free to let them hit me and perform all of their attacks. That's the purpose of the video. I deliberately played in order to let them attack Sora and let them say the actual quotes. The savefile I was playing on didn't have all of Sora's Drive Forms unlocked, so I simply used a code to have them all available (that included Anti Form as well, but you can't obviously unlock it)

I'm kind of disappointed that in the English version of this game, the Organization members don't actually say all of the things that they say in the Japanese version. Battle-wise at least.

I see you went to the Indiana Jones combat class. For this you get a like. It's anticlimactic, but makes way more sense than a frenzied battle where time is of the essence and your sword can literally turn into a gun by absorbing a duck.

Me too, I think when Riku gets the cards back there was that one Zexion Soul Eater card that stunned you, maybe that was when he said it.
Maybe Square will just use this video as reference when localizing 2.5...
gezz lol lexaus is badass. he just grabs sora's neck (i believe) and just slams him into the wall. brutal as fuck.
Not to mention when he throws him up then smashes his sword on Sora's back, and sending him into the floor so hard it actually causes tremors.
I can never stop watching this. Well done.
It's funny is that around 2015 someone did make a patch for the Com Organization memebers to have English voices with them saying battle quotes and not just grunts.
They scaled her up well in this. Hardest part of chain of memories was trying to fight with that damn card system. The second you ran out...

Well, one good thing came from Google+, I can finally type out all of what I want to say. First off, 20 seconds in, and you could've fooled me into thinking this was legit. You have done several of these videos, and all of them have impressed me. Second of all, the voice actor for Marluxia, Lexeaus, Zexion, and Vexen in Japanese are all the same person. Just letting you know. How do you do this? It must take forever to add the sounds to the right spots and make them say what you want. Great, I have no limit on what I want to say, and I can't think of anything. Oh, Thamauturge. I've seen those videos you mentioned in the description a long time ago. People with their dirty minds... Regardless, this video is incredible. I can't wait to watch your walkthrough for KH HD 2.5 Remix. I know you're going to do awesome stuff with it.

I prefer your dubbing of Marluxia, Vexen, and Zexion. Larxene and Lexaeus just didn't feel right since their power up yell/laughs weren't there.

KH has to be one of the only series where I prefer English dub over Japanese dub
I'm a big fan, a Very big fan of yours, from the Pacey days to now, and I have to say, we are all so lucky to have you. Having said that, I'm totally envious and kinda hate you. Not like legitimate HATE, but seeing so much amazing content from your videos really makes the games kinda pale by comparison, but still, it's a good thing. Double edged sword basically (tikitikirevenge's retelling of the Majora's Mask story gets the same double edged treatment).
But in all whole hearted seriousness, I love your videos, and wish I had your (or your friends') prowess with doing these kinds of things, especially with this series. But watching your creations is more than enough.
Sadly, I really doubt that 2.5 is going to have the English voices for these battles, mostly because Square Enix is not a company I have a whole lot of faith in these days. But having seen what you've done, I wish they would so badly...

Oh, they're done by the English actors all right, but...
They're the same grunts that the Japanese actors made, just in English.

It's funny how when I first got this game, I never switched my keyblades. So I beat the entire game on all modes like three times before my cousin pointed out that I could switch my blades. In retrospect, I feel pretty stupid.

I find it awesome that for all but the last one you ended in limit form and thus sora was in his CoM colours in the ending cutscene.
Nice job! This cannot have been easy! Still, I think that even if they have the English voice-overs return to voice them in 2.5, they'll probably only have grunts and laughter like in the original Final Mix+, just with their English voices instead (I'm probably being redundant). Personally, I always thought it was more ominous and fitting for the absent silhouettes to be incapable of speech, but this was still very enjoyable.
Ya gotta love how Marluxia starts teleporting for every swing of his scythe later in the fight to the point where he's practically playing tennis with himself and Sora's the ball.
I just noticed how the limit break quotes for these members in 358/2 Days are taken right from their battle quotes from RE:Com.

They're just silhouettes you can do them at level 45 if you picked the shield (sword with hand guard) because I think you unlock second chance at that level.

So I have a question and it would be greatly appreciated if someone answered. I've only been a Kingdom Hearts fan for a little over a year and half now and I have only just now realized the reason for EXP zero. I've played all the KH games and I'm greatly looking forward to 2.5. Anyways my question is pertaining to the Marluxia battle. At first I thought that counter was always at 99 but I have to ask if its connected to the level you're at when you fight him. Doing a no exp run would be difficult in this game if it were true(at least for that part). Also do you think it would be crazy of me to use exp zero on critical mode for most of the KH games that allow it? I want to know since this is coming from a guy who spent hours fighting young xehanort w/out using surge attacks in birth by sleep(wasn't able to do it but I at least tried). Sorry for the long comment but I wanted to know if I would be wasting my time with this from expert players

There already is a patch for this, look for it, it'll be a little tricky to find but it's worth it.
rw:if for one thing that rly ticks me off during any boss fights in KH games is the "Super Armor"that everyone has ,which is completely irritating.

LALO_KILLER17 I was only referring to the grunts, not the voices because 2.5 never had their voices to begin with. Same thing applies with the original Final Mix, it was only grunts no voices
Mecha Techa well what do you expect? 2.5 was Japan Exclusive and I'm pretty sure they didn't have the voice actors available during 2.5's translation to make new grunts and such
