One of our neighbors had a super 88 . He was 58 years old when his wife found him spinning around and around attached to the PTO shalf,what was left of him was only his jacket and bibs (coat) mostly,,as the his other body parts were detached and tossed all over the yard,he had it running a augar unloading corn from a wagon,the super 88 was still running,,just be careful with that old stuff and open shalfs spinning,his super 88 was still running strong and it never faltered ,and now it had a red tinted paint job

If you have to run a open shalfs ,just cut a piece of that 6 inch cheap plastic corrugated black drain pipe and put it over the shaft ,while just before hooking it up,it ll spin with it freely but it won't grab your clothes and wrap you up if somehow you get near it or fall into it accidently

At least youre getting some rain Ross. Here in Missouri where im at its dryer than a popcorn fart! Im probably going to have to start feeding hay because there's no grass .
It’s still pretty dry. We could definitely use more.
I'm in the middle of having the injectors rebuilt on my Super 77 diesel. It may be in the same place as your's. Tired out. I'm thinking the same thing. When it won't start even with the block heater and tractor crack I'll start overhauling it.

Thanks for the "super" video! 88 sounded really good mowing. On the super 77, I was surprised to see the configuration of the oil filters. Never saw that set up before. Anyway, good video my friend!

Other than the desert heat and humidity yes it is!
We use mobile 1 30w in just about everything we have , Lucas is some good stuff, fuel treatment is really good. Your cows look great I miss are mooos just raise some to chew on . From turkey creek farms stay safe

That Lucas oil is pretty good I use a lot of their stuff . If I remember right the guy who started Lucas Oil is from down close to you . I added some of the Lucas hydraulic booster in my M I couldn't really tell a difference but I never had anything wrong I added for the protection . Thanks for sharing !
Thanks Aaric! Yeah the Lucas oil stuff seems to be pretty good product. There’s several things they make that I like to use.

I just got in with my 1855 with a 10 ft John Deere haha bush hog sorry Oliver doesn't have one had to quit it started raining I love The Sweet Sound of the 1855 straight piped would like to make habit of buying an Oliver once a year to start a little collection but I need a pole barn haha expensive
I’d like to have a bigger batwing bush hog but I just haven’t got that far yet. Nothing wrong with the J. D. they make a good mower.

That’s the problem, right now it’s dry but it’s usually wet until June

My Super 88 diesel will stat at 30 degrees without starting fluid but thats not the norm. I need to take it to someone with a dyno and get them to play with the timing though because it doesn't quite have the power it should
If your pump has never been rebuilt it might be that it’s getting tired. It is odd that it starts so good in the cold.
@@rosstheoliverman I need to get ahold of the local guy that is good with those pumps. He did my dad's OC 6. I have a problem where i have more important projects 🤣. That Super 88 is a real sweetheart and has run flawlessly for me.
