I will have to check out Cold War rearmed. I never actually played Operation flashpoint but that map looks pretty good. Cytech also looks really good, I will definitely be keeping my eye out for that. Great and informative video, also, that shot of the tank coming up onto the road at 0:54 was pretty cool

Ah yes, CFB Petawawash.. I live close to it, about a 4 hour drive. CFB Moosehead is a good map to do some Landings on for both helicopters and jets.. I can confirm.. even after still failing to land a jet..
Viper, could you do a Top 10 Modern Terrain video? I love modern combat/warfare but i dont see many "modern" terrains ever (this i a suggestion, not a demand, i'm suggesting this because i know lots of people out there like modern maps/terrains
Do you know any good US military base maps because i like playing on those types of maps but in another video (I dont know which one) you mentioned twentynine palms but i think the makers took that one down, because i last time i checked i could not find it on the steam workshop. So do you know of any other?
@Viper1Zero at 06:50 you say "with viewdistance 15000m" . I always fly in Arma(and in real life:) ) and was never able to see beyond 12k which is pretty unrealistic. how do you reach beyond 12k?
@@DeliceDelleJay The mission maker would have to either run the script globally for the server or would have had to have enabled debug console for all players when making the mission under the multiplayer settings in editor.
I really enjoy the map inchkeith as it takes me home to Scotland and also is a very small map with a large surrounding of water which makes it perfect for a naval battle with the addition of a small island in the middle to capture which in real life the purpose of the island was to be a artillery position again the German naval threat during ww2
You and me both. I love Altis, it's my all-time favorite. It's so expansive, varied, and detailed but also runs great and honestly never gets boring to me.
Can you make a video on the proper procedures in how to land on an airstrip. I know how to land on an aircraft carrier because of the Jets DLC but now also want the procedures on how to land on an airstrip for jets and Cargo planes.
Can someone please give me a list of the NEED to have mods present day 2022 feb 24... I mean like a whole full packet of like 100 mods at least. There's around 100kMods and I just want to be able have a custom selection with all the enhanced movements, features, cannon mods, without the outdated ones crashing my game and having to scroll over hundreds and hundreds of mods individually to be able see what I can load in with and what not. I am new to Arma and I want to be able load my own singleplayer/editor and do my own thing.. But not with 8 mods a week making a dozen different profiles having to make so much custom presets. Like JUST GIVE ME A FULL PACKET THAT IT WILL KEEP ME BUSY FOR A GOOD MIN BESIDES SWITCHING TO HALO MODS, STAR WARS ETC!!!

Gulfcoast is an American based map and Fapovo is amazing for combined arms operations
I didn't like the foliage quality on Fapovo.. Turned me off real quick.

Open debug console while in mission. Type “setViewdistance 15000;”
Omit the quotation marks when inputting.

Ngl this cytech map looks like other game.. completely no shitty bright shadowless undergrounds like in other mods, TOP level.
It’s one of the best maps I’ve ever seen.
Yup, they kind of faked it by tweaking the lighting so it’s permanently night time as to make it seem like underground lighting
