I was zeusing on Fapovo, we actually had an HVT in the flooded village with the destroyed dam. We had a little refugee camp set up, and in the village the guy was in a half sunken building, and my players had to swim up with flashbangs to breach it. Really fun to watch and, from what I heard, play.

If you're looking for African factions the 3CB factions mod has a lot of different factions a recent update added bunch of African factions for each side
Bohemia Interactive sells paper maps for Altis, Chernerus, Livonia, Malden & Stratis ... maybe some of the others, I don't remeber, but for map geeks it's a great purchase.
Check out the Deniland Map, it's huge and has some fantastic elements.. Also Tria for a unique environment with plenty of options for adding assets on a per mission basis
This seems like the kind of video to ask this question on: I'm doing a campaign for my unit that is a recreation of Operation Urgent Fury, the U.S. Invasion of Grenada in 1983. Anyone have any map recommendations? I've already thought about Tanoa but not all of my unit has Apex.
I play a lot in Chongo, using "Central African Rebels [RHS]" as opfor. I do mostly single player with Drongo's Map Population. Central African Rebels [RHS] is available on the workshop.
just an FYI: pecher is essentially a recreation of GROZNY the capital of CHECHNEA which was the focal point of 2 wars with the russians in the 90s, and the russians being such a humanitarian army left the city a giant wreck
Pecher kinda reminds me of Sarajevo. Not completely because a lot of the buildings are pretty wiped out, but in a way it gives of the vibe of constant shelling. I think a Sarajevo map would be interesting kinda like the Falujah (I don’t think I spelt it right) maps, because Sarajevo had some extreme warfare in an euro urban setting Probably gonna download the map to see what it looks like for, I take myself as a mission maker and I have a big interest in Sarajevo Great video I needed some new maps
It's based on Grozny from the Second Chechen War. It doesn't feel very much like Sarajevo at all. Vukovar, perhaps, going by the level of destruction, but that had a much different layout/architecture to it as well.
Man I wish I had a gaming PC I love watching these videos you got a new subscriber today great channel maybe one day I will be able to actually play not just watch.
I'm hoping to get a campaign going based on conflict between isreali and lebanese etc... on a middle eastern style map with multiple factions involved which I'll have to learn how to make as well I play with controller on pc though 😂😂👍😎
My personal Favourite map is called X-Cam-Taunus But it is a map that does cause lag if not optimized right but it has a modern feeling to it and the map size is 20480x20480m it is a huge map. map link is: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=836147398
Lythium is actually kinda unimpressive in the face of maps like FATA, CLAfghan, Anizay and even Fallujah. And to be honest, I haven't expanded to maps that are yet incomplete. The workshop has genuine diamonds on it.
@@tintero969 Yeah but on real life maps, ive bought the game and checked the server list, those servers, pops dead, shame really, everyone plays parts of altis, arma 3 isnt like it was 2, although combat itself is much better, people dont play arma like it should be played, real life situations, or create and populate real life maps, there is fallujah but theres no one on it and from what ive noticed, arma 3 is based in the future and alot of the more popular weapons are unheard of to me too ,seems like a lot of futuristic guns with made up names which i kinda dislike, i kinda wish arma 3 community were more into our real life armys weaponry but it works and the combat is fantastic tbf i enjoy playing it but theres so mch unfilled potential
@@Liam_g321 Most players who play ''real life situations'' mostly play these in closed units, that's why you don't see them on public. ''People don't play ArmA like it should be played'', that's honestly the dumbest thing I have seen in a while. ArmA is a *military sandbox game,* NOT a simulator or anything like that. It's up to everybody how they want to play the game and that doesn't mean the way you enjoy playing it is the way it ''should be'' played. Yes, ArmA is set in 2035, but a fun fact for you, 2035 is closer from now than for example 2009, when ArmA II was released. And guess what, guns and equipment evolves, most of the equipment was in prototype testing when ArmA III was released and some of it is even in regular use as of now, other was quite common even back then. Names are changed due to legal reasons I would guess. The only futuristic guns I can think of is the Chinese Type 115 and the MX series of rifles, which were designed by a real life gun company specificaly for ArmA by the way. I personaly think it is a breath of fresh air, unlike 99% of shooters that are M16s/M4s vs AKs and it's repetitive, uninovative and at this point straight out boring. And if you miss those, there's bambilion of mods for these weapons, which, again, clans and units use most of the time.

I recommend Halsoy, Norway. It's a small island map. Very high quality.
Great map. I love the big radar outpost on the top of the mountain, such a breathtaking location.
Im here to shoot people not appreciate the nature

Have you seen Vinjesvingen, Anizay, and Kujari? They're very good maps made by Temmpa who did Ruha. :)
Vinjesvingen is my favourite Arma 3 map. Had some fantastic missions on it 👍🏻
Nice list. Maybe Napf terrain could get on this list. Beautiful map.
It's crazy how absolutely accurate pecher is to what Bakhmut looks like.
0:56 they definitely took your advice with reforger lol

Perfect, thank you for this great video!!
Da Krong is great for the Vietnam setting!

@@Giggs88 Have you found it yet?
Great Man, i imagine this Terra un máps work for the multiplayer scenarios?
Or they change something on the singleplayer?
It looks like pecher was inspired by the Chechnen capital grozny of 1995
Same tought. The tall building is the same
What mod did you use for the boat pickup in the intro?
I want to know this aswell!
Called helocast, if you want to use it with rhs helicopters you have to download a separate patch

Lythium is amazing, best map out there for me
I love Fallujah but its very laggy
So, maps are looking good
