@silentsledge exactly! It isn’t difficult and takes barely any time to pack some food that you know is safe for you. I struggle massively with food, along with some fun allergies to make things more exciting (not). Having a few safe foods packed always helps me and stops others feeling awkward too!

TW: ED talk What I’m getting from this is that Gabbie, at least at that time, def had an eating disorder since she was so weird abt food and her exercising and when she can eat / shoot. Especially the bits abt how she “complained” that all she’s ate are snacks bc there weren’t any correct options for her. That was a red flag to me. In reality she only ate snacks bc she had an ED and was purposely restricting herself and on top of that she wanted people to know ohhh me I’m so skinny… all I ate are snackies today hehe. It’s like pity bragging she wanted ppl to know she wasn’t eating and made it sound like a bad thing when it was probs intentional. Also the part abt people buying her food just for her not to eat it that screams unnecessary restriction done for attention. (I’m not saying everyone with an ED wants attention or anything like that but it is common that some ppl starve themselves bc they want ppl to notice). So at the end of the day even if she filled out the proper forms and stuff and literally a 5 star chef was available for her personal use to make any dish she wanted, she still wouldn’t have eaten very much because…. Yes, i also have an ED and was thinking about this. It's also possible that she couldn't actually stop herself from eating the unhealthy foods and ended up restricting afterwards. She could have said that to Daniel though, maybe production could have a separate trailer for her so she couldn't be in the presence of triggering meals. I struggled with an ED that made me act like gh in this situation. I would get mad at people who tried to get me to eat differently and I wanted everyone to accommodate me. I was constantly stressed and angry about food and I see myself in gabbies shoes. But less than a year later, I’ve gone through recovery and made sure to apologize and explain myself to everyone I hurt during my ED. I now have so much remorse for how I acted and how my ED made me treat people and I make sure to never let that happen again. Gabbie is just weaponizing her ED and probably isn’t as recovered as she claims if she still thinks her behavior in this situation was justified.

I commented something similar on Daniels video when it came out, but imagine complaining about any of these working conditions when some people in your audience are probably working minimum wage. Like, I worked food service, and multiple times only got like a 10 minute break for an 8 hour shift. I have dietary issues as well. As someone with dietary issues etc, I always ensure that I have food I like and can tolerate... it isn’t difficult. She needs to grow up and realise that the world does not revolve around her.

@silentsledge exactly! It isn’t difficult and takes barely any time to pack some food that you know is safe for you. I struggle massively with food, along with some fun allergies to make things more exciting (not). Having a few safe foods packed always helps me and stops others feeling awkward too!

What I’m getting from this is that Gabbie, at least at that time, def had an eating disorder since she was so weird abt food and her exercising and when she can eat / shoot. Especially the bits abt how she “complained” that all she’s ate are snacks bc there weren’t any correct options for her. That was a red flag to me. In reality she only ate snacks bc she had an ED and was purposely restricting herself and on top of that she wanted people to know ohhh me I’m so skinny… all I ate are snackies today hehe. It’s like pity bragging she wanted ppl to know she wasn’t eating and made it sound like a bad thing when it was probs intentional. Also the part abt people buying her food just for her not to eat it that screams unnecessary restriction done for attention. (I’m not saying everyone with an ED wants attention or anything like that but it is common that some ppl starve themselves bc they want ppl to notice).
So at the end of the day even if she filled out the proper forms and stuff and literally a 5 star chef was available for her personal use to make any dish she wanted, she still wouldn’t have eaten very much because…. She had/has disordered eating. Like Gabbie maybe the problem isn’t there isn’t correct food for you but the fact that you have a difficult time eating food in general :/

I struggled with an ED that made me act like gh in this situation. I would get mad at people who tried to get me to eat differently and I wanted everyone to accommodate me. I was constantly stressed and angry about food and I see myself in gabbies shoes. But less than a year later, I’ve gone through recovery and made sure to apologize and explain myself to everyone I hurt during my ED. I now have so much remorse for how I acted and how my ED made me treat people and I make sure to never let that happen again. Gabbie is just weaponizing her ED and probably isn’t as recovered as she claims if she still thinks her behavior in this situation was justified.

I commented something similar on Daniels video when it came out, but imagine complaining about any of these working conditions when some people in your audience are probably working minimum wage. Like, I worked food service, and multiple times only got like a 10 minute break for an 8 hour shift. I have dietary issues as well. If I complained about anything, they would’ve laughed at me then fired me lol. Gabbie is a great example of what privilege looks like lmao!
