Dealing with Gabbie is like a tug of war. She has a point, but then she doesn't.
She is the only person that makes it hard to side with her when she can go from one topic to another and sometimes she says an extreme way out there topic. It's literally almost 50/50 and that sucks because I want to like her because she seems like she got the crap end of some of her collabs with other social media personalities.

As someone with adhd, it really bothers me how she tries to justify all of her actions with adhd. Like yes, I know adhd makes you do things, but that is not the only reason for your actions. You are in control of what you say on the internet, you are in control of how you treat people, you are in control of how you respond to situations. But I was wondering, if I were to order food delivered while I’m working here on set, would I be able to save my receipts and submit to production for a refund or partial refund? Or may I send my assistant out to the grocery store to get me some groceries to keep in my trailer and save that receipt for refund or partial refund? I’m open to any options that can get me food and I’m sorry I didn’t submit it on time.”

Apparently she (Gabbie) never responded to the emails asking for everyone's dietary restrictions, or show up for her costume fittings that were scheduled prior to the shoot.. Honestly, as someone who suffers from similar mental health issues as Gabbie, it doesn't seem like mental health is to blame for her unprofessional behaviour.

Joey has been so unproblematic for such a long time. Straight up can’t remember the last time he was in a drama. Really he has done such a good job at staying out of things.
he articulates himself extremely well i’ve also noticed, which really took me by surprise in a good way. i’m happy for him & i can understand both sides but he’s completely valid & even without all the receipts, i trust his word 100% compared to hers.

I do NOT expect others to accommodate my disability if I have not made my needs clear in a respectful way. No one will like you if your act disrespectfully. You get much further in life with a good attitude and mutual respect.

Right!! I had an ED and have invisible chronic illnesses. I do require accommodations in some situations, but no way would I ever expect people to somehow know without me being very explicit about what I need. Not to mention, I wouldn’t want people to assume what accommodations I need even if they knew about my illnesses
you’re exactly right. just as in a relationship, if someone is threatening suicide or using their mental health as trivia control cards, NONE of that is your responsibility. same for ED. there’s a huge difference between reaching out for help/shedding light on personal issues & essentially capitalizing on mental illness & diluting the validity/support people truly need. everyone being their own human being is responsible for themselves & their own actions & there’s no amount of trauma that will ever convince me otherwise.
i could use the trauma card ALLLLLLLL DAY LONG if i wanted to make life “easier.” but since i’m a grown fking adult & recognize that i’m responsible for my own actions, i choose to cope & heal from my problems without being a toxic piece of wet dog shit & making everyone suffer just from my presence.

I think this is a little more complicated because its in a workplace. I don't know how USA is but in Australia its a legal requirement to ensure youre accommodating for a disability. For example if a place doesn't have wheelchair access they'll be in shit. But she 100% should have returned the forms, you can't expect people to manage something they can't see.

And even when that wasn’t good enough they went and got her everything she requested including very specific salads etc even when they didn’t need to and still complained! I honestly feel like there was no winning regardless what they did! She would of complained! Iv had an ED for 9 years and I also have a lot of allergies dairy eggs mushrooms nuts! I’m a nightmare 😂 but even I saw stuff I could eat when joey and Daniel showed what they had available for her!

As someone with ADHD, ADHD is such complex, incredibly misunderstood mental health condition, and for Gabbie to constantly bring it up as an excuse for everything makes me so so angry. It doesn't give you pass to be a horrid person. It can be a way to explain why you behaved a certain way, (ex - forgetting to fill out your dietary requirements because your brain is just scrambled egg 99% of the time), but you are still responsible for your actions. Apologise for your wrongdoings, and be a better person. (ex - "Totally my fault and i'm so sorry, but i forgot to do my dietary form, is there any chance i can order some food in, or go and grab some food on a break?") We're not all like her i promise!!

I agree but Gabbie literally uses it to excuse her actions away, not to explain how her mental health could be a contributing factor. She uses it as a shield to never take responsibility. While Trisha does do that as well, Trisha has taken accountability in minor situations while actively working to better herself through therapy. Gabbie has said she doesn’t believe in therapy and uses it as an excuse to hurt and harass others. Not saying you are wrong just pointing out that Trisha is at least from what she has presented on the internet, tried to be better. While Gabbie will never see herself as anything but a victim.
i think you missed the part where she was required to fill out a food restriction sheet months prior and failed to even do that. Joey and Daniel went above and beyond for her and she still bitched at them. ADHD and or just being hungry shouldn't ever be a excuse for how horrible she was on set.

I honestly hate when people just brush off the fact someone has mental health issues. Like a lot of the canceling today is like “we don’t care about your mindset you fucked up” but when you really have been through mental illness it’s one of the hardest things to go through. You literally aren’t yourself when you are mentally ill. I only accept the “mental illness doesn’t matter in this situation” if it’s a predator that prays on kids. Mental health is a real issue and can really mess someone up.

Your ED is your responsibility. I have a very restrictive ED (ARFID) and I make sure to let people know that there are things I straight up refuse to eat. I don't like being offered food that's gonna kill my appetite. Eating can be hard sometimes.
THE THING IS ADAM, gabbie was asked to send her dietary needs and restriction form to joey/daniel/staffs WEEKS prior the shooting, so you can't blame them either for only providing for her 3 days after she filled the form (which way past due date btw).
People who try and use ED and MH as excuses for their own actions angers me . Trisha Paytas also uses her MH , I heard her say on Frenemies that she hears voices and is talking to her therapist . That doesn't happen in real life . ED sufferers hide it very well and to the point where it kills people .
disregarding this situation, if gabbie has struggled with body issues, appearance and ed etc, she could totally make positive, uplifting content to boost others who are facing/ have faced the same battles. she hashes situations out of the blue and turns it into drama (which negatively impacts her) whereas she could talk about her experiences without deflecting blame onto everyone else.

I had the same thought a while ago - that Gabbie Hanna is the rare individual who just keeps cranking out so much bad press, it’s just plain bad.
I have ADHD and while it does make working a little difficult, i.e. I struggle with concentration, it doesn't make me a brat to work with, like Gabbie suggests ADHD would be responsible for.

As someone with adhd I hope ppl keep in mind adhd it on the spectrum of autism. So yes How I / we act all day everyday is due to our brains. Adhd isn't just lack of "focus" it EVERYTHING we do.
She really is a master manipulator. A master manipulator can make you believe that grass is blue and the is green. I have an ex like this and it's super exhausting. ADHD is not an excuse for this behavior. My husband has ADHD and he would never act like a child or an asshole to others like this.
