Rachel Oates made a video about Narcissistic Abuse - talking about a previous relationship that she had. Her video has time stamps. When she talks about "Projection" she mentions Gabbie Hanna .*She does not say that Gabbie is Narcissistic. There is no attempt of diagnosis*. But I feel that what she says on the video is rather enlightening when it comes to Gabbie's behavior.

Only when she found this book about Narcissistic Abuse specifically that all clicked. So yeah. It's sad how this word ended up being thrown around so much. I’m a preschool teacher, and one thing that I’ve learned from many years of experience dealing with small children is that there are some who will do anything for attention. Typical children will behave positively when they want attention, but children with behavioral/physiological issues, history of trauma, etc... will constantly seek out attention even if it’s negative, and once they gain that negative attention they will continually complete the action that gained it (tantrums, aggression, cussing, throwing things, flipping chairs, etc...). This pretty much perfectly sums up Gabbie Hanna. Until she stops getting the attention, the acts that are gaining her attention won’t stop. It’s hard to ignore these individuals, but it needs to happen. I know people feel the need to defend themselves, but they’re going to have to do it repeatedly because as soon as they do, she gets the attention she seeks.

Because of this Jessi told Gabbie, "I get it you're friends with Jenna Marbles now." Jessi didn't say it with any malice it was like an ok and she moved on. However, Gabbie understood what Jessie said as, "I get it you're friends with Jenna Marbles now because she has more followers." This is what Gabbie understood to be said, but it was not what was said. Jessi had to clarify that that wasn't what she said, because especially after the SA from Curtis she saw even more that follower counts etc. weren't what mattered. This situation literally happened to me and some of my former friends. I was sexually assaulted by a 'friend'. My female best friends didn't believe me, blamed me for it, and continued to be his friend. To this day, they are still best friends. I haven't spoken to any of them in years now.
Your info isn't fully accurate. They were not friends when Curtis was arrested. Or when the TMZ article was released and the charges became public knowledge. They met 8 months later Also, jessi didn't file a lawsuit. Curtis was arrested. Jessi didn't make the decision to file charges. It was the state of California vs Curtis, not Jessi v Curtis.
I said this once and I will god damn say it again...it was like listening/watching a hostage negotiation situation. Gabbie was metaphorically putting a gun on Jessi as she was giving a list of demands and wanting it in 48 hours or Jessi would get hurt. The fact that she has posted this entire phone call just shows how drastic her measures are already getting and by in large shes just exposing herself more. Seriously, keep an eye out for more vague suicide threats on tiktok and probably vague tweets about it too. That being said, i genuinely dont think she will harm herself in any way. Its not a pattern of behaviour that she shows as we consistently see her lash out rather than self destruct.

I think in the original video of Jessie’s, they showed that they both mutually agreed to record the video. So they both had consent to film and record. So that’s all BS that’s she’s mad that Jessie recorded it. It was agreed upon on both sides prior to doing the call.

Rachel Oates made a video about Narcissistic Abuse - talking about a previous relationship that she had. Her video has time stamps. When she talks about "Projection" she mentions Gabbie Hanna .*She does not say that Gabbie is Narcissistic. There is no attempt of diagnosis*. But I feel that what she says on the video is rather enlightening when it comes to Gabbie's behavior.

I’m a preschool teacher, and one thing that I’ve learned from many years of experience dealing with small children is that there are some who will do anything for attention. Typical children will behave positively when they want attention, but children with behavioral/physiological issues, history of trauma, etc... will constantly seek out attention even if it’s negative, and once they gain that negative attention they will continually complete the action that gained it (tantrums, aggression, cussing, throwing things, flipping chairs, etc...). This pretty much perfectly sums up Gabbie Hanna. Until she stops getting the attention, the acts that are gaining her attention won’t stop. It’s hard to ignore these individuals, but it needs to happen. I know people feel the need to defend themselves, but they’re going to have to do it repeatedly because as soon as they do, she gets the attention she seeks.

I literally just finished the phonecall 😭. All of it is just Gabbie thinking it's cute she has these old old texts etc., Gabbie saying "me me me", Gabbie talking over Jessi, but complaining Jessi is talking over her when she isn't, and Gabbie saying Jessi is deflecting, but Gabbie is fhe one deflecting.
Tbh, dont know what Gabbie thought this would do for her. It was already bad, but now it's so much worse.

@@basiapetteway7980 Yah! Essentially, Gabbie started hanging out with Jenna Marbles and sometimes Jessi would want to hang out and when she would Gabbie would be hanging out with Jenna.
Because of this Jessi told Gabbie, "I get it you're friends with Jenna Marbles now." Jessi didn't say it with any malice it was like an ok and she moved on.
However, Gabbie understood what Jessie said as, "I get it you're friends with Jenna Marbles now because she has more followers."
This is what Gabbie understood to be said, but it was not what was said.
Jessi had to clarify that that wasn't what she said, because especially after the SA from Curtis she saw even more that follower counts etc. weren't what mattered.

I also wanted to mention that Gabbie posted that podcast episode where she’s yelling and calling Jessi a “narcissistic abuser” ON THE SAME DAY that they had the phone call.
Honestly at this point Gabbie just makes me feel sick. At first it felt satisfying to watch everyone dunk on her for being an idiot, but she just keeps going in on Jessie for things that she doesn't even have the right to talk about while Jessie's just trying to put it to bed and enjoy her pregnancy, and it feels icky as fuck to watch. I'd like nothing more than for Gabbie to leave the internet for good so we never have to hear about her again.

This situation literally happened to me and some of my former friends. I was sexually assaulted by a 'friend'. My female best friends didn't believe me, blamed me for it, and continued to be his friend. To this day, they are still best friends. I haven't spoken to any of them in years now.
It was one of the things that hurt me the most in my entire life.

They met 8 months later Also, jessi didn't file a lawsuit. Curtis was arrested. Jessi didn't make the decision to file charges. It was the state of California vs Curtis, not Jessi v Curtis.

And I 100% agree on how uncomfortable the video made you feel. I was uncomfy. Last weekend on Saturday I went out of town and saw the video posted and the trip was also three hours. with how this is playing out i cant help but feel like this isonly going to end up with her clapping back saying everyone is attacking her and that theyre affecting her mental health and she will mention in passing that shes suicidal [like she has done before] and then vanish from social media for a while to drum up sympathy.
Its literally the only way she has any leverage over the situation at this point and the only way to get offline without looking like shes running away or admitting fault.
Ive got YEARS of experience with living around a Narcissist so trust that it will only get more dramatic the more that her manipulation is brought to light. The fact that she has posted this entire phone call just shows how drastic her measures are already getting and by in large shes just exposing herself more.
Seriously, keep an eye out for more vague suicide threats on tiktok and probably vague tweets about it too.
That being said, i genuinely dont think she will harm herself in any way. Its not a pattern of behaviour that she shows as we consistently see her lash out rather than self destruct.

It *is* a lot to get through, and it's very very triggering. Imagine how Jessi feels having to be triggered by it every time Gabbie brings it up. This should have died a while ago, and every time it comes up, I get upset. I'm an SA victim, and if someone did this to me, I wouldn't have handled it with any kind of grace.
