    I just bought and installed the Woodcraft universal 2" rise clip ons for my Ninja 400. They move the bars slightly more forward and 1/2" lower and you can also lower them even more with out the clearance issue with the triple tree. Plenty of clearance with the stock fairings also

    • @sportbiketrackgear

    • @sportbiketrackgear

      These will be slightly lower than the OEM setup is. You are able to adjust the angle in relation to the top clamp but you will not be able to raise them at all. Lowering them would be possible but it would require bodywork modification. - Van

I’m not sure if I should get these clip-ons because I just received the Driven Halo Mirrors I ordered from STG and I’ve had some problems with them. I have a Ninja 400 and I used the reducer listed on the STG website, but the reducer goes too far into the stock clip-ons where there aren’t any threads. So the reducers were kind of a waste and I can’t get the mirrors on. I like the mirrors, so I want to keep them but I have to figure out how to get them on.

    Are these the most aggressive clip ins available?

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Important to remember you can lower these approximately 1/2" from where they sit once the install was done. This kit was designed to work with the bodywork (race and street) and the clearance available. You could try to install a set of standard (zero rise) clip ons under the top triple and work out the clearance issues if you need the bars lower. - Van

      I am surprised you would want to raise them, most riders are lowering them on the 400. You could install a set of Woodcraft riser clip ons to raise the bars a bit. The only way to know how far you can raise them with the OEM cables and such is to loosen the OEM clip ons and re position them a bit (do not ride like this) to determine who far you can go before you run out of cable or hit the fairings. - Van
