    When we shot this install video we noticed the tolerance of one of the mounting brackets was too tight and contacted New Rage. I just got off the phone with one of the Owners at New Rage and they found that the bend in the bracket was incorrect (the press went with the inside line when it should have went with the outside line). New Rage is replacing all the brackets in question to eliminate this problem now. We will shoot an update video next week.
    I have been doing this a long time and want to give New Rage props for jumping on this and handling it quickly and professionally. - Brian Van

    Put mine on today! I love it!! Although, the wires on my equalizer were red black and white. Another issue I had was that the wiring in the back of my bike had absolutely no play in it so the unplugging of the connectors was a bit of a pain in the ass.. alls well though, got it done, waiting for a couple more parts and she'll be back on the road :)

    Did you try feeding the bolts in from the top and having the nuts underneath? Maybe one of the flat sides of the nut would act the same as the ground down bolt head?

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I did, the nuts have the same diameter as the bolts do. That said it also looks much cleaner with the nuts inside the tail. End of the day this is not really a huge deal IMO, this kit looks bad ass on the bike so it's worth the effort. - Van

      Just got off the phone with New Rage, they found an issue with the way the small bracket was fed into the press and have corrected it. They are replacing all of the brackets in the kits they have in stock now and are sending new ones to us so we can replace the ones in our kits before we send them out. - Van

    However on the left blinker I attached white to red, and this side flickers too fast.

      This kit includes the New Rage Cycles Dual Load Equalizer that needs to be installed to dial in the flash rate of the turn signals. That is supposed to normalize the flash rate. Double check your work, if you do not find an issue please reach out to New Rage directly. They will get you sorted out and you will be dealing direct with the source. - Van

    The left turn signal connector won’t click in with the wiring. How can I fix this or am I doing something wrong?

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hard to say for sure without being able to see it myself. I would take a close look a the connector to make sure the lock is not deformed, if that looks good see if you are able to push the male part of the connector far enough into the female side that it allows the lock to engage. If you are not able to resolve this reach out to New Rage directly for support. They do a solid job over there and will get you sorted out. - Van
