      I was also hoping to see this. I'm planning an A4 build and for now it's going to get my old Strix 970, but once I get my hands on a 3080 I'll likely demote my 3070 to the A4 PC. Since it too has a flow through cooler, I was considering flipping the PSU, since it's 80+ gold and won't generate too much of it's own heat, and using it to help exhaust the hot air from the 3070.

      Someone on reddit posted their evga 3080 + dan a4 build and it does kinda fit. However, they had to stick little pads, like felt bumper pads, on the front of the gpu, because the fans would just barely hit the side panel. Easy fix though, if you're alright with the side panel slightly buldging.

      Also my Sliger has an open space between the two sides of the 'sandwhich' not solid like in the Ghost. If you put the power supply air intake inwards facing I wonder how well the 3080 exhaust could escape through the PSU and perhaps under/over it as it's not quite as tight as the ghost but still has room for fans above/below.

    • @timbutteriss
      @timbutteriss 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Putting the heat into the PSU might make that run hotter and get noisier too.
      I was thinking along the same lines but leaving the PSU orientation as is, cutting two vertical lines down the wall in the PSU area and then bending the plate in might create a scoop of sorts to help the air be directed up towards the two fans he puts on the top to go straight out of the case.

    Great video, happy I got the Ncase last month and I am looking forward to upgrading my gpu and cpu to match at xmas for the frist time in 4 years :D I was wondering if you would be able to get a video on the effect to cpu temps with the 3080 espiecally in the ncase and if for example a noctua u95 would improve gpu cooling at the sacrifice of the cpu or if its best to run a side mounted radiator and aio. I've been thinking of getting a tempered glass side panel and running the u95 to run air in through the top and bottom and out through the back but if it effects thermals alot I could also go with an aio.
