This was the video specific to my washer. The wiring of the pump is critical and this includes that information.
As typical, we spend 90% of our time just getting to the part that needs replaced. I have saved thousands fixing my appliances and power equipment myself - and it is videos like this that fill in the small details that make that possible.
My hat is off to you, Sir. I just fixed my LG Front Loading Washer for 25 bucks in parts and 2 hours of scraping and banging my knuckles.
Now, I get to sit back and enjoy the reward of a job well done.

Is 12:30 at night, I’m female and have never worked on a washer before but, my drain pump went out and husband keeps telling me he will get to it. LoL. I stopped holding my breath and found your tutorial and it’s helping me a lot so thank you. I still haven’t figured out how to take a screw from the bottom piece off because is so tight but I’m working on it.

See if a bigger phillips screw driver can help with the tight screw. At the same time push in and turn counter clockwise. Sometimes a screw can be to tight.

FIXED IT!! Only $40 for the part and tool! Thanks to This Video, I had the confidence to fix it myself. It was actually EASIER than this video shows. Lots of room to work inside this washer! Thank You for your Video!!

Followed these steps and it was so easy. Thank you so much for this video, you explained everything perfectly. I now have a working washer for the price of a new pump (about $50) and a couple hours of my time. Thanks again.

Great video, however I just saw another internet video that avoids removing any panels. Instead, you disconnect the power and two water lines feeding water to the washer (at the washer). Drain the filter tube. Remove the cover in the filter tube area (as shown in this video). Then position the washer so you can tilt it backwards approximately 30-45 degrees; enough to allow you access unearth the washer. Then remove the three screws in the front of the pump (if all three are present, mine weren’t) and the screws underneath. Then you can remove the pump and all attached parts easily from underneath. The biggest caution is bracing the washer so that when you tilt it, it cannot slide and fall. Mine is leaning against the wall.

This video looks like a lot of steps but it’s really not that bad. I just did it after never touching a washer before.

Those 3 screws that hold the pump assembly and debris filter are a must! If that pump isn't level you will keep getting error code even with new pump. It took me a minute to figure it out actually 3 days but I got it

Just completed this on my washer model WM8100HWA. The steps were right on with very few exceptions! Prying the control face off was accurate but there was a screw on the top right holding it on as well. (Easy fix) You break the step down exactly as needed. I’ll also add that my drain area had the drain pump on the left and a circulation pump on the right. The drain pump was replaced. I left the circulation pump in. But this is still a very helpful video for my 2016 washer with the noted model number.

Just flip it on side and access it from bottom. Unscrew three screws and locking pin and voila you have the whole assembly loose. Then remove the connection pins, and hoses and replace with new one and reassemble just in reverse fashion

Yup every single. Day. You get pretty fast at it. Lg refrigerator compressors and washer pumps etc get pretty simple after a 1000 of them

Too many steps. Just unplug everything, turn the washer on its side to get to the pump from underneath the washer. You only need to loosen the pump body from the access door.
