- I really wanted to share my top 10 favourite manga series of all time with you and I'm excited for what 2021 might bring in terms of new and exciting manga that could someday also make it onto my top 10 list. Each one of these manga series are extremely special to me and I wanted to share with you why I consider them to be amongst the best in my manga collection. What are some of your top 10 manga series? I went into this expecting berserk, Vinland saga and vagabond at the top but I love how unique and based your list is and you've got me interested in Shuzo Oshimi. Also Gantz is a masterpiece. You get a sub from me ❤️

Just finished volume 24 of Bleach. I did not expect it to be ranked where you ranked it. I'll definetely buy the 3rd box set. Bleach is really amazing!
If you enjoy the second arc then the final arc is just as good imo 🤘🏻 Hope you enjoy it

I am pleasantly surprised to see CCS on your list and so high up, too. I’ve been thinking about manga demographics lately and I noticed that (and I’m overgeneralizing) a lot of females would read anything while a lot of males just stick to shounen/seinen. It’s a shame that a lot of great shoujo series don’t get a lot of the attention I think they deserve because a lot of people won’t give it a chance since it’s labeled as a shoujo.

Absolutely loved this! Also love your #1 spot - I’m still reading it currently (around Vol. 40) and I LOVE it. Such a good manga. Also liked seeing CCS on the list too! It’s one I need to finish but from what I’ve read, I have really enjoyed it. Definitely a lot on here I should check out!

Pleasantly surprised to finally see Cardcaptor Sakura on a top manga list, it's a nostalgic one from my childhood too :) I don't think you're basic for loving Bleach none of my friends ever talk about it, I only hear about Naruto and Demon Slayer xD I watched the Bleach anime when I was younger and have just recently picked up the first manga box set - will definitely look for the other 2 box sets after hearing your thoughts on it!

Bleach was one of my first "true" manga/Anime that i know of a read it and fell in love in .I absolutely love first 2-3 arcs.The beginning is fantastic ! its really Nostalgic title for me :)
Just because you picked your favorite ones and not the main favorites like Berserk vagabond monster... makes your top ten quite interesting :) and something different what I like to see!

I really like them, specially vagabond, but as you might have experienced, retards wil always complain for not putting them on a top 10.

A very nice list, I'd recommend Shaman King manga highly, it's a peaceful and beautiful read. Maybe Vinland Saga or Vagabond too(vagabond is a samurai story, you said you love those ;D)

Obligatory algorithm contribution. Also I love death note. Watched the movie. Then started the Anime and loved it. I really want to pick up the Manga but I'm torn between the black editions or the singles.
I don't know if it matters or not I am not familiar with the black editions so dunno what is different but I have the singke volumes. I guess the single volumes you get the niceness of the look on yer shelf the singles are all differently colored and looks like a nice set when you line them all up. but yeah dunno what sets the black editions apart colored pages, extra content etc. and it is not even a long manga series so omnibus editions are not really needed for this one in my opinion go for the single volumes it spans only 12 books very easy to complete and you get to have them in all different colors on yer shelf er if that aesthetic matters to you. I would also recommend picking up the Death Note canon novel Los Angeles BB Murder Cases very good story and is a canon prequel to the main series.
Wow this was so unpredictable, really didn't expect Cardcaptor Sakura to be there, but it's great because people don't oftenly mention it or talk about it (maybe I'm wrong haha).

bleach is the only anime that i couldnt stop watching, i needed to know what happened next. Manga is also great, TYBW art is honestly amazing, the lack of background was used as a focus on the characters aswell as time restrictions.
As a Naruto fan , I also recommend Bleach for beginners . I read Bleach a little while after finishing Naruto and Nisekoi and it's really good.

Also, I watch pretty much all the main manga dudes on youtube, but I don't think any of you ever mentioned "Girl's last tour", which is one of my favorites, it's a masterpiece. Have you read it? I think you should like it for sure.

Sorry about that all of the links should be fixed now!! Berserk wasn't included because I didn't enjoy the later arcs as much as the first one so I couldn't really give it a spot. In terms of Blame or Girls last tour, i haven't read either but I hope to in the future for sure !

Bleach is the tippy top of all manga 👌🏾 i gained a new appreciation for it as an adult, and like you, I don't think anything will ever over take it. It's truly a masterpiece ❤
22:30 we almost share the same opinion pal, everyone has it's own tastes, bleach for me is 3rd in my top 10 (just close to fist of the north star and dragon or like in my intergenerational big 3 like fist of the north star who represents the 80s, dragon ball the 90s and bleach the 2000s XD), it's the franchise that brought back my passion for mangas and animes after being a long time bored of animes and mangas, I discovered bleach randomly and I'll never regret it, no matter what people would say about it, just my opinion.

2. original gundam
3. one punch man i've got 10 volumes but read far beyond the manga in the web comic
4. uzumaki closed it and said wow
5. elfin lied
6. dragon ball + Z a classic got 4 volumes till finished
7. YuGiOh! (original series)
7. berzerk only on vol 4 but it's awesome
8. Jujitsu kazen love the scratchy art that messes with line width

I’d like to here why you don’t like one piece. if nothing else luffys character development and odas “uniqueness/variety makes good” approach to character design really influenced my world view
I might make a video in future but then again i tend to try and shy away from negative reviews where possible. I think I just read one piece too late in my manga collecting hobby that it didn’t interest me enough. That’s not to say I hated it but I couldn’t get pass some of the Shonen tropes
@@OnTheShelf64 I like One Piece although I do not feel that strongly on it currently I am looking at Saint Seiya as my main shonen manga but One Piece the issue with it for me is I got into it late annnd it is so long 95 volumes are out as we speak and the series has not ended yet still I do not think I will ever catch up is just too long for me. I only have 4 volumes of 95. I am surprised yuyu hakusho did not make it into yer tops.

@@OnTheShelf64 Ah you have not? I highly recommend you pick up yuyu hakusho it is a brilliant manga and as far as shonen manga go it is one of the better ones. A lot of people rarely ever talk about it though. yuyu hakusho is made by the mangaka that does Hunter x Hunter but in the wake of Hunter x Hunter people forget that before that what put Togahsi on the radar and blew him up was yuyu hakusho. so you won't hear about it much from Togashi fans most commonly you will hear Hunter x Hunter thrown in. it is a short series 19 volumes but solid all the way through I admit the ending feels a bit rushed but Togashi was already dealing with health issues in making yuyu hakusho so the ending is a bit meh but still manages to wrap up nicely but the rest is amazing. it has a great anime adaption too.
I'd also recommend saint seiya aka knights of the zodiac for a great shonen manga be warned though a lot of the tropes you may have mentioned for one piece those shonen tropes may or may not be within saint seiya as such an influential manga in manga history as far as shonen goes a lot of tropes originated or started in that manag. Seiya was pretty influential alongside fist of the north star and Dragon Ball all 3 of which I believe were running at around the same time and are big shapers to manga history so if anything having it for that sake is also great but yeah haha. seiya has lots of fights and action but not sure what exactly you look for within yer manga. I heard some people say that Bleach is like Saint Seiya but with samurai Lol so if you like Bleach (I see it on yer fav manga list) you may like saint seiya. Lol only 1 problem tho...the manga phyiscal volumes are hard to come by as they are outta print so uh either buy them to read digitally or read some scans online Lol or if you have the cash try and buy the entire 28 volume set but..hoo boy the prices are scary man very scary.
I haven't read many manga, but I don't think I'll read anything as good as Alice in Borderland for a long time

@@OnTheShelf64 Bleach had probably the best first 2 acts out of any manga of the type imo, and I loved it. But it doesn't hold the same quality after that. Feels like a prolonged encore drags along only for the sake of dragging along.
Blade of the Immortal is the best story I've experienced. That final arc, in particular, is fucking phenomenal.

@@milos1967 Golden Age arc peak fiction. The peak was so high that the rest seemed average compared to Golden Age (in terms of storyline) After Golden Age it just didn’t hit the same. I wasn’t enjoying it at all, the introduction of new characters around Guts was just wack, boring and useless, Schierke being the only exception. Ofc art is insane, Lost Children Arc was insane too, you have some great moments/fights, but also a lot of meaningless violence like Guts fighting Demons/NPC’s, too much of that. Pacing sometimes can be really really slow. Is just my opinion tho totally subjective. I can’t deny Berserk is one of the GOATs but I can say I have read better shit than Berserk on god.

Gantz is one of my favorites too, but most people dislike the ending so much they don't consider it in their top 10

@@iExotc your missing out on a lot, the anime for me is a 10/10 but the manga surpasses all of anime by 10 times it’s insane. You should just read it online it’s translated in English
