With your presentation and videography skills, it won’t be long till you become the Queen of Vegas content for locals. There’s a huge foodie world in town beyond the Strip!
I just had the Friday night dinner buffet last night, 9.30.2022.. Highly recommend this buffet. Dinner is $29.99 with prime rib. A must do. Hardly ever a line for dinner. Been going there since it came back due to pandemic.
My family and I have been staying and playing at Rampart/JWMarriott for over 20 years. We think it’s a beautiful casino and hotel with first-rate staff. My mom, dad, and husband adore this buffet. I do, as well. Thank you, Ruby for showing the Rampart some love. We do stay on The Strip occasionally at Bellagio or The Paris but really do prefer Summerlin! Give the restaurant Honey and Salt a try one day. Just down the road from The Rampart. The casino does not charge for parking, either. ❤
I've been working all weekend to make a major deadline. So nice to have a Travel Ruby fix to see me through. I love how you always detail that none of the food will go to waste. Keep up the fabulous work! From Nick P in Melbourne, Australia.
"If you get smacked in the face with anything, it should be bacon flavor." Excellent words to live by, Ruby! $20 is a great price point for Vegas buffet. Looks like a good selection despite the smaller size.
Rampart is such a beautiful casino...their buffet wasn't open when we visited but we will definitely try it next trip. Thanks for the great video!! I love your very detailed reviews 😊😊
My husband and I absolutely love your content! Went to Vegas for the first time and your videos really helped us navigate our way through a great vacation! Thank you!
I know flavor and variety is good, but what really made me like this place is how clean it is. Even around the food. You see other places on the strip and the food is slopped all over the counter, and you don't see anyone around cleaning it up. They should have a person or two just dedicate to cleaning around the food. Its a real turn off when you see it. But as for this place for the money, it looks great.
I feel that with the inflation ( even a Chipotle steak burrito with guacamole and large fountain drink , no chips is almost $20) that buffets are becoming a value again.
OMG Ruby, I love the look on your face when you bit into the crab rangoon. It was perfect. This place looks nice. Also, I didn't get to see your live feed the other day, but I heard you moved to Las Vegas. Will you do a video on the process and how you decided to do it? Thank for all the videos and your hard work. Really appreciate the videos.
i absolutely love your buffet reviews. you're not worried about using your hands to eat. you're so easy to watch. can't wait to get to Vegas and go to a buffet! just trying to decide which one.
Thank you for another great video Ruby! 🎰❤️🍛 I think this is an Excellent Buffet for $20.00, including the drink. Considering a crappy burger combo at McDonalds or Burger King is easily $10.00 - $12.00 bucks, this buffet is a deal with quality food. ❤❤❤
Vegas seems like it has some good restaurants and buffet deals for the locals. I can see why the locals take advantage of these deals and mostly stay away from the Strip for eating and gambling.
I totally agree about the mashed potatoes , if they are not thick enough it feels like they are watered down even if they aren't , the mashed potatoes is the bench mark I usually use to tell if I think a buffet or restaurant is cutting corners and if I need to even spend the time tasting to much else or just cut my loses eat a little and get out and never come back.
I appreciate that you try the vegetables and starches! The delivery of "Taste like carrot" did Crack me up . Love your show! Hope to see you try some of the mid to high priced sit down places - the old amd the new! I think I would go there if I was gambling around there- but I wouldn't go out of my way
It is actually good recommendation about close proximity from Red Rock. Even if you are staying on the Strip, early morning trip to Red Rock Canyons and then stopping here for Lunch sounds like a good plan.
Exactly, Love Summerlin & Cenntenial Hills Such Beautiful Mountains⛰🏔 Views & Scenery Do Much To Do Besides 🎲🎰 Gambling & The Las Vegas Strip Been Here 2 Yrs From The Midwest & 💞💞💞It Here
This looks like without a doubt the best bang for your buck in Vegas. I would’ve went with different choices than you.. everything looked fresh and cooked perfect.
My late father and stepmother used to take me here. We would always make jokes as it seemed like Rampart was really struggling to compete against other casinos. But don't get me wrong, the buffet was always great and the staff very kind and professional. I don't think we ever had to pay as their neighbor was a bigwig at Rampart and my father was a big schnorrer (cheap). It's so nice to see your video and remember the times we had there. Thanks, Ruby!
We haven't been to Vegas for over 10 years & from what I have seen from you & other's on buffets on the Strip, this Rampart one is up my price snack bracket. We like to go off strip & try other more local restaurants, this is a good one.
Ruby, love your buffet reviews! I have a suggestion for you. Bring a few disposable food gloves with you when you go to a buffet. Buffets are notorious for getting people sick because everyone is touching the utensils. How do you know if the person that touched the utensil right before you didn’t wash their hands after using the restroom. I noticed that you were picking up the food with your hands and putting it in your mouth. Think “cross contamination or Norovirus”. My father was a sanitation officer in the army and always made us use these “Food Handling Disposable Gloves” when we went to anyplace that the public touched utensils. You can purchase FHD gloves inexpensively and they come 100 in a box. I just put them on when I go for the food and take them off at the table. You can even use the same pair over and over but careful not to touch the outside of the glove while putting them on or taking them off. Good suggestion for any buffet not just Vegas. You could also use hand sanitizer but I feel totally protected using gloves.
It's great that yr young and healthy as one ages things change mainly can't eat always what you want and for many stomach issues. Enjoy life to the fullest when yr young.
When we lived in Vegas we were about 3/4 mile from the Rampart. We tried all their buffets. I would give them a 5 out of 10. Just average. Nothing really flipped the switch.
Hi. My wife and I saw you and gave you a quick hello as you were filming before you went in. We went to to Brunch buffet today (Saturday) and were not impressed. Some of the offerings were different and the food looked better for Lunch. Though my wife and sister in law enjoyed the mimosa's. Would we go back? Probably not. We won money on Friday. We couldn't buy a bonus on Saturday. It was fun to see you and keep up the content.
If you are a diabetic and you love pecan pie, you can't have it like the original one! Im a diabetic and pecan pie is my absolute favorite of any dessert! If I am able to have a sweet for a treat for myself I would choose pecan pie or chocolate cake/pie or something with fruit. I have learned fruits have enough sweetness for me. ❤
Really impressed with the close up shots! It really makes it look so much more appetizing. I'll be there in 3 weeks. First solo trip. Looking forward to it! Did I hear you have moved to Vegas? How awesome if so!
Dang girl, y'all be getting some views.at this time I'm viewing it's at 37K views...wow, it was just posted yesterday...so awesome.....I love that people watch you guys....but then again you do have best informative, active videos abt LV. I'll try this place out....next time we are in that area... Thanks for the video...💕
Would you give this buffet a try?
no. honestly looks gross.
Yep
Yakisoba is Japanese.
20$. Yes yes yes
@@waxmax0 lol.
Nostalgia time - Remember when it was all you can eat buffets for $2.99 on the strip ? And they were good !
I appreciate how Ruby returns the serving utensils to it’s spot instead of leaving in the food. 🎉
Except she should clean spoon of food first . 😢

Thanks Steve! Lots of great stuff coming!

THANK YOU for covering Rampart....I love this place, and Suncoast...the only casinos I frequent on my quarterly trip to Vegas!
I tried the Rampart buffet a couple months ago and it was excellent.
Super impressed with the offerings and the price for what's available is perfect.

Looked pretty decent to me for $20. Buffet areas were kept very clean, too.
$20 is a deal compared to eating out prices. thats like a fast food burger meal for 2
Thank you for reviewing this buffet. I'm local and am looking for an alternative to South Point. This looks quite nice.
Rampart Casino is 5 minutes from our house and we've never tried the buffet. Great review - thanks for going so far off strip!
Here in Brasil we have buffets where they weight the left overs and charge you. That would stop you wasting all that food
Her husband eats the rest. What waste?

Fun fact... The pastry chef there is actually from France. The sesame balls are my daughter's favorite.

Very clean buffet and I like how Ruby puts the utensils back in the right place A+
Keep doing these! As a now local, I don't go to the Strip, but I'm always trying to find my next lunch or dinner spot!!!

South Point does cheap buffet the best, IMO. Thanks for the informative review.
South Point buffet is not even close to this buffet as far as quality of food... cleanliness
Great review! I've watched a lot of Vegas buffet reviews lately and for the money you can't beat Rampart from what I see
Just cannot do a buffet but I would definitely be into the all you can drink option fur sure 🤣🍺
So question..how do you keep your figure? I would gain 20 lbs if I ate that. But I do love that you try everything. Excellent review..

Yes do the champagne brunch please🥂
That looks really good and well worth the money 🎉
Just curious. Why do you not put napkins on your lap? Sorry, I'm an old lady, but it's the first rule of etiquette.
For 20.00 buffet a lot cheaper then buffets on strip at 35 to 65 dollars

Have you been to the buffett at Sam's Town recently? Used to love to go there for breakfast. The dinners were pretty good too.
I would try that buffet but probably needs more food variety good review of buffet at Rampart
Hi, what's the address of this Buffet in Vegas ?
I stay at Red Rock. I would take my group to Rampart Casino Marketplace Buffet, based on your review. Another great report.
It would be more helpful if you could use more descriptive words to describe the food rather than nice and fantastic. 😮
Your best review so far A+.
Love the buffet review!
You have like 2 bites of everything. Does Mr Ruby finish?
It’s been a long time since we have been to Rampart buffet…we are going next Monday!
Aside from the pork, is there a carved meat section? Roast beef?
I would definitely try this place. It would be nice to see the mister every now and then…

Yes on brunch - that’s the only buffet I typically eat because of food restrictions. Yum!!!
