You have to go back on Saturday for all the Hawaiian style food. The desserts are top shelf since the chef is from Hawaii. Always on my list whenever I am in Las Vegas. The long drive is worth it. They also have an OG coffee shop.

This review was outstanding. Most reviewers of Vegas buffets walk past the items too quickly or skip certain dishes without naming them. Yours was very thorough.
The prime rib looked good which is the main reason I would eat there. I prefer pre-peeled shrimp as I don't like fighting through the shell for a tiny piece of meat. The rotisserie and fried chicken both looked great and the desserts offer exactly what I look for: Cheesecake, blueberry pie and pecan pie. For whatever reason, Vegas buffets seem to offer large choices of cakes but not pies. The pizza also looked good, but I tend to avoid things like pizza and pasta at buffets because they are too filling and I want to eat the things like prime rib to get my money's worth. The charcuterie you ate looked like capicola which is something I also enjoy. I also thought the buffet was priced appropriately. I eat the same types of foods at all the buffets in town, but eating those types of foods at a Strip buffet is a waste of money.
I have visited this buffet for the Sunday brunch. At the time, I had a 50% off coupon which made it well worth the price. However the drive is a big issue for me. Although I am a very frequent visitor to Las Vegas, I typically stay at hotels on the opposite end of town like South Point, Sunset Station or Sam's Town. This adds about 5-7 dollars to the meal for gasoline making the drive not worthwhile. Still, I will keep this buffet in mind if I visit Red Rock casino again which I do every third or fourth trip.

Thank you for taking the time to leave an extensive response, and for the compliment! The prime rib wasn't really bad at all. I've been to buffets where the prime rib is shockingly not worth eating (if that's even possible, but Morongo Casino Resort buffet near Palm Springs, CA managed to pull it off one fateful evening about 10 years ago). There's even some buffets in the Vegas area where the prime rib suffers from being a bit tired. But not here. It's not top-tier prime rib, but it's good enough.
I share your preference for having my shimp already peeled. That's another reason why I don't often eat crawfish. I feel like I'm burning more calories taking them apart than I am getting from the tiny bit of meat in their tails.
I feel like we share some common buffet strategies too by avoiding the more filling items: pizzas, pastas, rice, and other starches. But I wanted to see why some of these items were flying off the buffet line. I think next time I might need to put in 4 hours at a gym prior to visiting a buffet to make room for the filling things
50% off coupon?! What a steal! And I agree that the drive from Red Rock makes much more sense than the other places you mentioned, which at opposite ends of the valley from the Rampart Casino.
      Thanks again for stopping by!

I normally watch other food/buffet reviewers' videos, but the algorithm sent this video to me and I'm glad it did. Initially, I wondered why you took time to describe the decor, but then I realized that might be nice/helpful for those who are vision impaired. I really love your attention to detail and thoroughness; your attention is solely on the food, which is why we're watching.
I also like the fact that you add your commentary to the video after the fact, so everything you say is nice and clear; no descriptions that are partially garbled because you're still chewing. (Talking with food in one's mouth and seeing someone's open mouth while chewing are 2 of my pet peeves.)
After watching a couple of your videos, I went back to a reviewer I've watched before, but I had to fast forward through his first sip of coffee, his description of the different shaped plates as he picked one up (who cares if they have round and square??), and then each bite of food he ate before reviewing it (he doesn't edit much of that out, for some reason.) All that to say I think you may have spoiled the other reviewers' vlogs for me, and I'm not mad about it. 🙂 So, great job! And thank you.

It helps encourage us to continue creating informative & unbiased content that resonates with folks like yourself. Although I might confess we’ve been considering describing table and place settings, etc. There may be a way we can do this while trying not to detract too much from the main point of the content, which is the food & the overall experience. But your feedback is duly noted. Thanks for watching!

Rare steak is going to be the softest and easiest to chew the more it cooks the tougher it’s going to get so if it’s already chewy and tough at rare it’s a tough piece of meat. A good prime rib is always cooked rare, and it should melt in your mouth.

Prime rib is a fancy us term for roast beef. Its nothing earth shattering. Cruise ships have this two meals a day in their buffet and its all you can eat. And pork, lamb etc. i dont get the attraction of a dingy casino to eat basic food. Its not cheap after taxes tips and drinks.
