    i took my tinyhawk 3 around 100 feet above the oak trees in my neighborhood and it lost connection too the controls but not my video feed and it kept flying up, i lost connection. so I drove around in my car hoping too get the video too connect and it finally did, it was around 100 yards away from where i took off in a front yard thankfully.

    I believe emax did say that it will run on 2s. If that’s the case it sucks they didn’t include a 2s in the kit

    • @OneManUnmanned
      @OneManUnmanned  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They said it could run on 2S, but they highly discouraged it. Maybe more susceptibility to ESC failure? Either way, the included connector is a PH2.0 for only a 1S battery.

      You may be right, Someone can correct me if im wrong but the charger @6:15 seems to have 2 charging ports for 2S batteries. Why put those in if 2S's weren't intended to be used on the drone?

      I have not flown the Cetus pro, so I can't compare. I think either would make a fine beginner drone. If I remember correctly, the Cetus did have optical flow sensors to help with hovering. The goggles and drone with the TinyHawk3 RTF is not bad though.

    trying to figure out if I should get the Tinyhawk 3 or the Easy Pilot Pro for my first FPV drone. I believe the Tinyhawk 3 is smaller and I would be flying it indoors 70% of the time. and it seems to me that small would fly better indoors. but as I understand it, the easy Pilot Pro has a better setting for beginners. so which one? LOL.

    • @OneManUnmanned
      @OneManUnmanned  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The TinyHawk3 is the more mature/sophisticated/capable drone. Either one flies well. If you are buying it as an RTF, I think the Easy Pilot goggles does NOT come with a DVR(won’t be able to record your flights). I personally would choose the TinyHawk3 out of the two.

    One of my gripes with this kit is the charger! Only uses 1S batteries but the charger only has 2 1S bays and takes up space with the other 2 - 2S bays! I would’ve rather had a charger that has 4 to 6 1S charger bays and be able to charge more than 2 batteries at a time. The Batteries take longer than I would’ve thought to charge. Thanks for sharing your videos on the TH3. It’s a decent little kit for the price.

    • @OneManUnmanned
      @OneManUnmanned  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, that does indeed suck. I don't think I even used that included charger(my other RTF has one with 4 ports). You might want to look into a new charge to save your batteries and more importantly your time. I'm sure you've seen this new 1s charger online. I Highly recommend you get one. You can charge 6 batteries simultaneously and increase your charger's current output as well. I'll leave my review on it linked below.

      Is your goggles on the correct VTX channel? I'm not a big supporter of auto-scan, but if you don't know the channel of your VTX, you might want to try the auto scan feature of your goggles to retain an image(considering you might on another channel) .

  • @keyeblackmon

    What fpv drone would you recommend after mastering the tinyhawk 3, that will bind to th tinyhawk 3 receiver?

    • @OneManUnmanned
      @OneManUnmanned  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It really depends on what your interest are. Are you a freestyle kind of person, or maybe a cinematic, or long range person? Do you like loud and fast, or like to stay under the radar? Coming from a tinywhoop, I would recommend a drone that performs like a 5inch drone, but smaller and quieter. A 3.5 inch drone like the BabyHawkII would be a good option. If you like cinematics, the GEPRC CineLog 25, 30, or 35 is a great choice. If you like long range, the Crocodile Baby LR is nice. If you like 5inch drones, the Nazgul5 V2 or Nazgul Evoke are good choices. I don’t think you can go wrong with the EMAX BabyHawkII.
      Just remember when you choose your drone, It has to have an Frsky receiver(D8,D16,XM+) to work with your E8 radio.

    The EMAX website states that the drone supports a 1-2S input, but you said that it only supports 1S. Are you sure?

    • @OneManUnmanned
      @OneManUnmanned  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The TinyhawkIII is designed and advertised as a 1S drone.. Even the manuals for the RTF and TH3 BNF indicate 1S. Having said that, the FC/ESC in the TinyHawk is rated for 2S power just like the one in the TinyHawkII. The TinyHawkII however had a Battery connector to accommodate a 1S and 2S power source. EMAX did indicate that the majority of pilots flew the TH2 on 1S power rather than 2S. There are also indications from pilots that reliability decreased on 2S power. Are these the reasons why the TH3 came with a 1S PH2.0 connector? No one knows.
