@@sirtchamp8033 The crowbar kills them in 2 hits consistently, but the guns kill them less consistently with more hits and you have to worry about aiming and missing your shots, so it is more effective to use your crowbar. Plus it saves you ammo for the bigger threats.
The burnt and messed up bodies literally used to give me nightmares. I hated it so much that i actually ended up noclipping around the entire sewer section the first time i played it
My dad used to play this game when he first got married and always played it with me as a baby on his lap now 18 years later im playing through it with my homies and it still holds up so much and is still so fun

I don’t believe that the civil protection are combine super soldiers at least the low level ones at the start of the game to my knowledge civil protection are humans who fell in line with the combine’s agenda and were rewarded with better rations and living quarters which is why Barney was able to infiltrate them whilst still keeping his humanity
Half Life 2 is still insanely good at building atmosphere than almost any other game to come out in recent year, with its incredibly well crafted soundtrack adding to it. Plus Ravenholm as a whole is just a masterpiece.
