I owned the zflip 5 and the motorola razor 40 ultra. I sold the samsung. The motorola was so much better. The the cover screen software was spectacular. I will buy the new razor ultra 50. It just keeps getting better and better. The only thing that samsungs slams the motorola is on software updates. Motorola needs to get their game together on this issue.

Owning the 2020,2022 and ultra 40 razr i will skip this 50 ultra due to lacklustre os updates,on the Motorola community forums not one agent can give us any idea when the 40ultra will be getting our android 14 updates,as for security updates i have been getting the bimonthly security updates,im in Australia,as the agents have stated on the forum security updates are done per phone,not the whole region, in America others have the latedt security patches others are still on May 2023,this is the same for all regions, as for me this will be my last razr untill Motorola/Lenova release updates in a timely manner...I hope this helps a few ppl decide...
The Samsung has superior build quality, better gorilla glass, better moisture/dust resistance, and enhanced Aluminium shell (yes Aluminium is a real term for the metal used in both products). Its a better product than the Moto imo for quality that matters most. I have the Flip4 and its been great but I always upgrade every other release cycle. Just ordered the Flip6 today through Verizon. Got a $400 trade-in for my Flip4 (if you order directly through Samsung they have a $500 trade-in value for the 4). I ordered from Verizon just for convenience. They are also offering a free upgrade to 512gb vs the standard 256gb. I'm looking forward to it primarily 3 reasons. First is the new lens upgrade. Photos and videos from the Flip4 are disappointing, especially since Samsung is known for its superior lens technology. In addition, the new AI capabilities (which were not even mentioned in this video) are outstanding. I'm heading to Europe in a few weeks and look forward to using the new language AI capabilities. Another important feature that was not covered in this video: the vapor chamber for heat diffusion. It doesn't sound like a big deal but it is. The Flip4 gets VERY hot when connecting to bluetooth devices and Android Auto. The vapor chamber is designed to disperse the heat. All in all a very nice upgrade to an already great product with superior build quality.

I just wish the camera on the Motorola was better. I have the S21 plus and the previous Motorola razor and the camera on my S21 picture quality is better than the razor. That's the only thing keeping me from switching since I do take a lot of videos and pictures.
Moto should start putting Flagship processors in their phones already. It makes even more sense because their Ready For (now Smart Connect) can be used to utilize the phone's entire potential!!

The benchmarks do not mean as much as you think they do. Samsung has been proven to put in code within their software that boosts their chipsets performance above safe levels purely for benchmark tests. Motorola on the other hand does not do this so the Razr is the more honest phone.
Motorola aces all parameters barring the processor & the software update term and slow rollouts in general. Not too bothered about the software updates, if it came with the 8 gen 3 processor instead of the 8 gen 3s I would have bought it.
Samsung flip 6 - 7 years of updates. Motorola? That's the decider for me (though a decent dac and 3.5mm headphone socket would have helped sway things)

i have fold 3, flip 5 and ultra 23, i now have Motorola razr plus, love it love it love it, my only complaint is Samsung puts out better power to my wireless ear buds, also my wired skull candy's are insane while running with Poweramp App. Still will keep Razr tho

It will be my second flip and the Motorola always has some great features but Samsung has the body

I lime the flip phones drom samsung but i always gets air on the crease at about 6 months of use.. hopefully samsung can improve that
With 50% thicker UTG (Ultra Thin Glass) we can expect to get a better experience with a crease in a longer run.
