Use the new power towers to easily traverse the map in Satisfactory to find all the artifacts you need! Please like and subscribe if this helped you out.
If you right click to activate the zip line tool you don't have to hold down the mouse button as you travel across the map. Learned that one earlier today myself.
Its not very obvious but if you hold shift while ziplining, you go quicker than if you don't hold shift. I haven't tested what the speed cap is, but its pretty fast.
ive played ~80-100 hours since 1.0 came out and didnt know you stay on the power tower, i must've died ~10 times from trying to get it to hook to the next power line thats invisible since my pc can only run the game at lowest settings with resolution scale at 60-70 lol. one thing to note is that if the angle is to sharp or something you get thrown off, i had to test my across the map zipline when you mentioned that you stay on it and theres one or two that throws me off. overall good tip that'll help in the early game or before you get something else setup
this is a silly bug i found that uses the parashot, if you get near a wall that has a slant you can "ride" up it a perfect example of it is the big arch in the background at 2:58 if you build a few latters and get to area that's about a 10-20 degree tilt you can just ride up the whole thing, its a really weird bug. it works on basically anything that has weird slopes to it.
personally i made a parachute and just jumped off from these and started to build the next destination and glided between them... and if you have a hoverpack at that point you can just keep bulding regular power poles and flying between the spots for exploration....
Or not, its slow and boring you fall off at tight turns and have to climb up them all the time super pointless. Use a cannon 10-12 long with a tube at the end pointing up with no end on it. delete it so the end is just the glass tube. Load up, and dont forget your parachute ;)
Heres another pro tip my friend taught me 59 hours into a run: if you're hand crafting something, you can tap spacebar once with the recipe selected to automatically hold down the button. As in you don't need to set a weight on your mouse if you need 50 portable miners
I became aware of another traversal trick when watching Epiphane's recent speed run, the respawn. Two ways to use this. To climb cliffs fast create the HUB above you and press the "H" key to allow you to force build the HUB, then Respawn, right click, and you're at the new hub location. The other way is to have no HUB and you respawn at your original starting location. If you build your main base in that biome, you can now pop back to base instantly, from anywhere on the map.
I've been so excited for Power Towers, I hated having small poles strewn across the map just to power another factory (Trains fixed it a bit) and the Zipline (and Parachute) have been my main mode of travel, I even use it over the explorer most of the time even after I unlocked it

Nice one, didnt know that
Oh god thank youuuu
@@agamorgaming5728 I wish I'd know that a while ago.
Right click? I just jump up to the wire with the zip line equipped. No right click involved.
@@frankgrimes7388 Right click is so you don't have to hold left mouse to ride the zip line.

and u dont need to hold it if u turn off "hold to sprint" option in controls
oh snap i didnt know that part

Power Towers and Dimensionsl Uploaders are the reasons I havent built a Hypertube Cannon network on my map yet.

Explore the map by exploring it to put down power towers first...yup makes sense.

Tell me you play with "keep inventory on" without telling me you play with "Keep inventory on".
@@frankgrimes7388 Why yes, yes, I do, because I do everything I can not to play a walking simulator. Actually, it's keep everything.
Great video. Just a tiny nitpick, power towers where introduced in update 8 one update before 1.0.
Oh my bad, i didnt play much of update 8 so didn't realise
They announced 1.0 will be after 0.8... so a lot of people skipped it.
Good tip! I'll be adding this to my playthrough next.
