It just hit me... I was 12 when this song was first released by Simon and Garfunkel, I grew up with their version, even my parents liked this and the rest of the album. My youngest son played this for me, and altered my music world.
Same. I first experienced this song and video in the Pop Art Museum in Seattle. I literally dropped to my knees in tears. Most profoundly moving musical experience I've ever had.
At 77 i listen to this a few times a day for inspiration and to calm both. David was asked did he sing like an angel or a devil. I think he responded " yes". Great response by you. Go listen to it again alone. Bathe in it, experience it. If you dont feel, get goose bumps, tear up or just cry then you are souless. Davids voice crawls inside you and grabs your soul.
A 1965 song written by Paul Simon re-released in 2015 by Disturbed; datz 50 years later!! This is beyond awesome this is probably the best cover EVER!!! Hands down, my favorite song these past 5 years!! Disturbed's video for this was also knocked out of this Universe... so much emotion, powerful imagery and just an overall amazing performance by a band that most folks had no clue how awesome the singer was!! INCREDIBLE!!! \m/
My interpretation of the song The Sound of Silence. This song is written with two separate people or consciousnesses singing it. Those that are waking up and those that have been awake for a very long time. The first, third and fifth verse is sung from the perspective of the unawakened and the second and forth verse are sung from the perspective of the awakened. Hello, darkness, my old friend I've come to talk with you again Because a vision softly creeping Left its seeds while I was sleeping And the vision that was planted in my brain Still remains Within the sound of silence Hello, darkness, my old friend is about people that have been kept in the dark and they're telling the darkness that they are experiencing something new in their vision. They (the awakened/aware ones) planted the seeds of truth/Light, and they are just starting to become aware. In restless dreams I walked alone Narrow streets of cobblestone 'Neath the halo of a streetlamp I turned my collar to the cold and damp When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light That split the night And touched the sound of silence There are fewer of the awakened, and they feel as if they are alone under the Light of truth, because they refused to by into the lies the dark has been trying to feed them. Then one day they saw a crack in the armor of dark, a tear in the matrix, if you will and in that moment they saw a opportunity to break the sound of silence. And in the naked light I saw Ten thousand people, maybe more People talking without speaking People hearing without listening People writing songs that voices never share No one dared Disturb the sound of silence And in that moment they saw all of the light workers/star seeds (awakened Ones) telling those that were still asleep the truth/Light, through telepathy those that were sleeping heard and saw the truth/Light in a very subtle way, but yet they couldn't share this Light/truths with anyone for fear of being attacked by those that controlled the sound of silence. They wrote the truth in songs, the truth had to be give covertly as not to disturb the sound of silence (the dark). And when the people became aware of theLight/truth and realized that they had been in darkness the whole time, it really pissed them off. "Fools," said I, "You do not know Silence like a cancer grows Hear my words that I might teach you Take my arms that I might reach you." But my words like silent raindrops fell And echoed in the wells of silence They reached out to those still in slumber, trying to give them Light/truths, but they wouldn't open their minds to new truths, instead remained in the sound of silence. And the people bowed and prayed To the neon god they made And the sign flashed out its warning In the words that it was forming And the sign said, "The words of the prophets Are written on the subway walls And tenement halls And whispered in the sounds of silence." The people were so caught up in working hard to pay for all of the things, the boats, cars, electronics, all of the toys that they covet. They couldn't see or hear the truth, they were too distracted by consumerism. The awakened/prophets have been trying to tell them through their songs and poems, and that whisper of Light/truth awakened the people from their slumber and they became ONE. Did you notice the ship sailing into the Light at the end of the studio version?
This song first done by Simon and Garfunkle in 1965 was written as a folk ballad in Protest of the Vietnam War. This arrangement by Disturbed will hit you like a ton of bricks.
I had always loved this song by Simon and Garfunkel. However when I heard this version I was immediately moved to goosebumps and tears! It touches my Soul in the way that says we, as humans, are failing! We fail our planet, we disregard each other and we worship idols of wrong doing. LISTEN AND HEAR! Change may already be too late
The original song was a warning to society. That version of the song was in the folk music genre back then. Just the singers and a guitar. This version of the song creates more emotions from the listeners. Because each verse they add more instruments and more expression, letting the song build and build. David's voice lets out more frustration and anger as the song goes on. I love your reaction to this. For someone that is bilingual you got the emotions being expressed to you very well. That's the beautiful thing about music, it is universal. They have always had one cover tune (remake) every CD. This one just happens to be the newest one. Disturbed is one of my favorite bands. Being from Chicago, I got to support my local musicians. "Down with the Sickness", "Prayer", "Remember", "Inside the Fire", "Stupify", "Are you ready" are all songs they wrote themselves and I think you would enjoy reacting to. Thanks for your reaction.
I still to this day,get get chills when I listen to t Dave's depth of vocals in this cover. I've watched me first time reactions. Most of which end and wow I don't know what to say! Stuned into silence .
David Draiman's voice has the capacity to convey such feeling, watch Disturbed's song The Light and you will see he can bring it to just about anything, and the story the video tells fits with the song perfectly, you may cry though ...
Hi This just popped up on my page & thought I'd see what you thought of it. Decided to subscribe as well. Great reaction & Don't worry about letting your emotions flow, Pretty much anyone & everyone who has listened/watched this video cover of the song has lost it with their emotions overtaking everything else. Way back in the 60's when first released it was deep with how life was headed into this direction. When David & Disturbed did this cover, His voice is priceless & the passion he put into it is really deep! My thoughts are that we as a human race never listened to the original msg when Paul wrote & Performed it. David's performance is showing the frustration, that we haven't learned from it & maybe even fallen deeper behind. Thank you for doing this & Super happy that you enjoyed it. Please take care, While always keeping safe! Kevin from Canada
The funny thing about this song, is that it's actually about obsession with our tech to the point we're we don't talk to people directly as much anymore, and it was meant to simply be a warning!!
Angelic power!!! Don't have to understand the meaning, don't have to understand the words. Music and voice can be powerful and angelic even if we don't understand!!! Loved your reaction!!! Ty
I came to your channel for the first time now, after watching other people's reactions today. Such a powerful song. I really liked your reaction the song. And you did good of looking at different aspects of the song and video. Great reaction!
To be honest I am no heavy metal fan either. But I kept seeing the track being prompted until one day I decided to give it a try and boy, what an experience. Hairs standing up on the back of my neck, goosebumps and tears. Wow.
I love after the beautiful emotional reaction that your cat walked through the video and all we could see was the tail. That was so cute, and a sort of comic relief after such an emotional video.......so cute!!!
Disturbed has a song called The Light. I highly recommend it a song with such a positive message in the lyrics and the video is a story that many can relate to.
Beautiful reaction! I know just how you felt! His voice is so powerful even when he's singing softly! It demands that you listen... but you aren't sorry when you do! 😊
David Draiman made one subtle lyric change from the original. He changed "And the sign flashed out its warning" to " And the sign LASHED out its warning." A small yet powerful change, and one that fits this version of the song to well.
Disturbed is not like other Metal bands, they aren’t afraid to open up dialog about taboo subjects and a lot of their music does have deep meanings. You should check out Remember, Stupify, Down with the Sickness, a Reason to Fight, Hold on to Memories, The Light, Who Taught You how to Hate, Inside the Fire, Save Our Last Goodbye, If I Ever Lose My Faith In You, and Prayer. Enjoyed your reaction 👍🏼
@Opie Wright Sorry about not replying sooner, I just saw your comment. It on the Evolution album. Thanks for your comment and I hope you enjoy their new music. Stay safe. ✌🏻
Inside the Fire needed to be higher on that list. David said the it is "a real racy song... about me standing over the body of my girlfriend, who just killed herself, and the Devil is standing over me, whispering in my ear to kill myself." knowing the meaning behind the song makes it a lot deeper than it seems at first glance
People have misconceived ideas of metal singers. The majority of them have vocal ranges others don't. From a young age David trained as a Cantor. He has amazing control in both low and high register. He's had a very long career and a performance like this, and other gentle songs show he has not damaged his vocal cords as a "metal" artist....basically proving he knows his instrument. He has a true gift and we are lucky enough to experience it. Watch some of his interviews, very soft spoken, down to earth and funny. Also check out vids of him singing this A cappella.

I bawled too! It strikes a chord in some people. I heard the original, and although nice.....it didn't envoke that type of deep emotion. The group is fabulous and David's voice is both good and evil, angel and devil. It's like "I warned you. You didn't listen and now I am pissed". David's range is beyond anything I have ever heard!!!
I'm a 56 year old guy and I cry every time I hear this version. A sign that a singer has done a phenomenal job and is the highest quality is when the emotions just flow like they do in this for you and myself and many other people. His voice is like an angel that starts calm and soothing then turns angry and has the ability to get his message across.
There is so much of a dark but beautifully told story. David's voice is amazing! Everything from the music to visuals, like the lighting effects is perfect!
performance is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 his voice is beautiful and haunting.................the piano stirs the soul and the bass drum pounding out those two strikes chills and the orchestra playing background music is perfect for this song.....and you are adorable
Powerful is the word you’re looking for. It’s a powerful song. Loved your reaction. It’s what a lot of people get. Loved your video and keep up the great work.
This is one of many songs Disturbed has covered. They are all amazing. This song is meant to show how because of technology, we as a people are having a major breakdown in communication. People talking without speaking, people hearing without listening, sounds a lot like texting to me. You should certainly listen to some of their newer songs many of them are very powerful and made to illicit an emotional response
Remember that John Lennon 'Twist and shout' was the final song he would sing, because it took its toll on his vocal cords ut that was then and this is now
Loved your reaction. Seeing other people show real emotions is refreshing. It reminds us that people are not all dead and cold. Everyone is not actors. Everyday people still exist and feel. I personally love "Disturbed" version of the song and it's reassuring to see other real people get the same feeling from it that I had the first time I heard it. Keep digging, there are many many great songs out there. 👍
Hi Eve , Just subscribed & yes this cover of the original Simon & Garfunkel is truly epic . I tear up & get emotional every time I listen to this song , so does millions of people around the world . More emotional now because of the pandemic. You emotions are beautiful & so are you , inside & out . David Draiman has a trained classical voice & trained to be a cantor.
Watching you for the first time and I feel everything your feeling to this song......I’ve listened to it over 1000 times and still gives me goose bumps. If ur interested I have made a mini mix of my fav metal tracks only 5 but I think u would enjoy
That was a nice reaction, Miss Eve. However, now I can't stop thinking about how I was enjoying Disturbed when they first started their band, and you was yet to be in this world. Ouch! (haha) .... You stay cool and keep on rockin'. Even more, stay safe.
As a youngster in the 60's and 70's I remember hearing and liking the original 1964 Simon & Garfunkel version on the radio a lot but it was mainly their harmonies that I liked. It wasn't until I heard Disturbed's version that I really became aware of and finally paid attention to the lyrics. To me, it's like David Draiman was telling us, in a rightfully angry tone, that we hadn't listened to what Paul was telling over 50 ago. I can admit that as a man in my 60s, that when I heard this version of the song, it quickly became my all-time favorite, replacing my long time favorite Nights In White Satin/Late Lament by the Moody Blues, which is often (incorrectly) labeled as something like "Nights in White Satin full version" including in my favorite fan-created video for it which if you want to do a reaction video, you can watch it here: th-cam.com/video/Sx8d--usWKI/w-d-xo.html
Disturbed makes powerful songs that all have a positive message in them. You should check out The Light. That one rocks a little harder but it's an amazing song. Dude can sing
Ms. Eve, darlin', you really don't need to try and find the words... Your facial and body reactions said everything you couldn't find the words for... That's the beautiful perfection of this song... This song basically does one thing, it touches you... It slowly brings you in, you can feel it building, in the end, all of his angst, anger and rage are released in an epic passionate crescendo... Pure perfection... Paul Simon (songs author) thought so as well...
You should also react to the original version, written and performed by Simon and Garfunkel way back in the 1960s. It is much different from this angry version. It is soft, melodic, a bit sad with great harmony between their two voices. It is said that their original was a warning of things to come, but this version expresses rage that the warning was not heeded.
Love your reaction! I love this song and really have become obsessed with it! Best cover I've ever heard and it seems to touch my soul every time I hear it. I liked the original but it took this version to bring it's message to me. 😊
Love the Pentatonix version of "Hallelujah"'; another great version is Hallelujah Live with Espen Lind, Kurt Nilsen, Alejandro Fuentes, and Askil Holm.
Having listened to hundreds of reaction videos of Disturbed’s ‘Sound of Silence’ I’m amazed at how many of them are sonically so bad you have to wonder how any valid judgement can be attained if the those reviewing are hearing them as muddied as we often to on TH-cam. Restricted dynamics, rolled off upper frequencies, putrid distortion just to mention a few of the barriers decrading the original.
I consider this song the second best cover ever done Distrubed interuptation is so well matched with the content. The only one better is Johnny Cash - Hurt. If you haven't done/heard it you really should it is incredibly emotional as well.
Don’t worry everyone has the same emotions on there first time listening to this song. The message is powerful but he voice makes it 100 times more.......
Your reaction was the same as mine .. I love this song.. but this cover version is awesome .. I fully agree with all your comments.. and you are a professional.. 😎
It just hit me... I was 12 when this song was first released by Simon and Garfunkel, I grew up with their version, even my parents liked this and the rest of the album.
My youngest son played this for me, and altered my music world.
This is a very emotional song, and your reaction was heartfelt. I still cry when I hear it. David and Disturbed slayed this cover!
Same. I first experienced this song and video in the Pop Art Museum in Seattle. I literally dropped to my knees in tears. Most profoundly moving musical experience I've ever had.
You heard the words with your heart.
This song has been covered countless times. Nobody has ever done it just justice the way they did. Not just David but the whole picture
I love how you said that you've heard this song before, but haven't really listened to it.
Later in the song, "people hearing without listening..."
Yeah, that was enough for me so I stopped watching @2.40 minutes and went elsewhere to watch.
@@karlsbergkarl2230you should come back and watch her reaction. She got it

My interpretation of the song The Sound of Silence.
This song is written with two separate people or consciousnesses singing
it. Those that are waking up and those that have been awake for a very
long time. The first, third and fifth verse is sung from the perspective
of the unawakened and the second and forth verse are sung from the
perspective of the awakened.
Hello, darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence
Hello, darkness, my old friend is about people that have been kept in
the dark and they're telling the darkness that they are experiencing
something new in their vision. They (the awakened/aware ones) planted
the seeds of truth/Light, and they are just starting to become aware.
In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone
'Neath the halo of a streetlamp
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence
There are fewer of the awakened, and they feel as if they are alone
under the Light of truth, because they refused to by into the lies the
dark has been trying to feed them. Then one day they saw a crack in
the armor of dark, a tear in the matrix, if you will and in that moment they
saw a opportunity to break the sound of silence.
And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never share
No one dared
Disturb the sound of silence
And in that moment they saw all of the light workers/star seeds
(awakened Ones) telling
those that were still asleep the truth/Light, through telepathy
those that were sleeping heard and saw the truth/Light in a very subtle
way,
but yet they couldn't share this Light/truths with anyone for fear of
being attacked
by those that controlled the sound of silence.
They wrote the truth in songs, the truth had to be give covertly as not
to disturb the sound of silence (the dark). And when the people became
aware of theLight/truth and realized that they had been in darkness the whole time,
it really pissed them off.
"Fools," said I, "You do not know
Silence like a cancer grows
Hear my words that I might teach you
Take my arms that I might reach you."
But my words like silent raindrops fell
And echoed in the wells of silence
They reached out to those still in slumber, trying to give them
Light/truths, but they wouldn't open their minds to new truths, instead
remained in the sound of silence.
And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon god they made
And the sign flashed out its warning
In the words that it was forming
And the sign said, "The words of the prophets
Are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls
And whispered in the sounds of silence."
The people were so caught up in working hard to pay for all of the
things, the boats, cars, electronics, all of the toys that they covet.
They couldn't see or hear the truth, they were too distracted by
consumerism. The awakened/prophets have been trying to tell them through
their songs and poems, and that whisper of Light/truth awakened the
people from their slumber and they became ONE. Did you notice the ship
sailing into the Light at the end of the studio version?
I love seeing that moment when they touch their arms because of the goosebumps.
Get ready for a religious experience! Even moves the soul of my goosebumps!
Yes I agree
The original song was a warning to society. That version of the song was in the folk music genre back then. Just the singers and a guitar. This version of the song creates more emotions from the listeners. Because each verse they add more instruments and more expression, letting the song build and build. David's voice lets out more frustration and anger as the song goes on. I love your reaction to this. For someone that is bilingual you got the emotions being expressed to you very well. Being from Chicago, I got to support my local musicians. "Down with the Sickness", "Prayer", "Remember", "Inside the Fire", "Stupify", "Are you ready" are all songs they wrote themselves and I think you would enjoy reacting to. Thanks for your reaction.

Dave's depth of vocals in this cover.
Yes! I agree!
I cry everytime I hear this song! It just takes me to a place that no other song ever has
same with me.. I cannot stop playing this over and over.Chills Everytime

A beautiful person describing a beautiful song , perfect 👌
I came to your channel for the first time now, after watching other people's reactions today. Such a powerful song. I really liked your reaction the song. And you did good of looking at different aspects of the song and video. Great reaction!

Disturbed has a song called The Light. I highly recommend it a song with such a positive message in the lyrics and the video is a story that many can relate to.
Eve: This songs getting to me
Everyone: oh yeah? Buckle up, he just started.
I said the same thing verbatim!
Beautiful reaction! I know just how you felt! His voice is so powerful even when he's singing softly! It demands that you listen... but you aren't sorry when you do! 😊
thank you! and I totally agree!
David Draiman made one subtle lyric change from the original. He changed "And the sign flashed out its warning" to " And the sign LASHED out its warning." A small yet powerful change, and one that fits this version of the song to well.
Good observation!!! I didn't catch that!!!
I like how ... after your emotional response to hearing this song ... your cat had to come check on you to make sure you were OK !
If this version of that song doesn't get you it means that you have lost all your feelings.
There isn't a more relevant song for today then this one
Not much has changed - I was three years old when this song first hit the charts in 1965 (by Simon and Garfunkel) - I'm nearly 60 years old now.
Don’t apologise for you tears this song does this to me every time. David’s voice is incredible.
Enjoyed your reaction 👍🏼
thanks and will definitely react to them and upload a new reaction this week!
@Opie Wright Sorry about not replying sooner, I just saw your comment. It on the Evolution album. Thanks for your comment and I hope you enjoy their new music. Stay safe. ✌🏻
I love Reason to Fight. Of course Down with the Sickness is iconic for their genre.
Inside the Fire needed to be higher on that list.
David said the it is "a real racy song... about me standing over the body of my girlfriend, who just killed herself, and the Devil is standing over me, whispering in my ear to kill myself."
knowing the meaning behind the song makes it a lot deeper than it seems at first glance
A perfect song if your in a dark place dealing with depression
heavy metal songs usually have meaning behind it, and make the best ballets
This is a song you want to share with people you care about. This is a song to bring people together and stop the silence between you.

great reaction video
He is an Angel and a Demon all in one, he has such a diverse voice

the armor of dark, a tear in the matrix, if you will and in that moment they
saw a opportunity to break the sound of silence.
And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never share
No one dared
Disturb the sound of silence
And in that moment they saw all of the light workers/star seeds
(awakened Ones) telling
those that were still asleep the truth/Light, through telepathy
those that were sleeping heard and saw the truth/Light in a very subtle
way,
but yet they couldn't share this Light/truths with anyone for fear of
being attacked
by those that controlled the sound of silence.
They wrote the truth in songs, the truth had to be give covertly as not
to disturb the sound of silence (the dark). And when the people became
aware of theLight/truth and realized that they had been in darkness the whole time,
it really pissed them off.
"Fools," said I, "You do not know
Silence like a cancer grows
Hear my words that I might teach you
Take my arms that I might reach you."
But my words like silent raindrops fell
And echoed in the wells of silence
They reached out to those still in slumber, trying to give them
Light/truths, but they wouldn't open their minds to new truths, instead
remained in the sound of silence.
And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon god they made
And the sign flashed out its warning
In the words that it was forming
And the sign said, "The words of the prophets
Are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls
And whispered in the sounds of silence."
The people were so caught up in working hard to pay for all of the
things, the boats, cars, electronics, all of the toys that they covet.
They couldn't see or hear the truth, they were too distracted by
consumerism. The awakened/prophets have been trying to tell them through
their songs and poems, and that whisper of Light/truth awakened the
people from their slumber and they became ONE. Did you notice the ship
sailing into the Light at the end of the studio version?
You should review his live performance on Conan. He was sick with the flu but he was still fantastic
This song is as beautiful as you are. It always gets to me no matter how many times I hear it.
There is so much of a dark but beautifully told story. David's voice is amazing! Everything from the music to visuals, like the lighting effects is perfect!
Girl big hugs i had the same reaction tears were flowing down my cheeks and i had goosebumps also.
He put alot of emotion in the words and sounded like an angry angel
It wouldn’t matter what kind of person you are this song would stop you in your tracks every time anywhere
It's an amazing cover fair play to them they crushed it!!
performance is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 his voice is beautiful and haunting.................the piano stirs the soul and the bass drum pounding out those two strikes chills and the orchestra playing background music is perfect for this song.....and you are adorable
Just want to say thank you David for recording this. I feel it every time.
This song has gotten to a lot of people, so don't feel the least bit embarrassed about that. 😉😊
Its nice to see a feminine reaction to a strong masculine voice. Beautiful..
best cover ever don't care what anybody else thinks
He has an amazing voice that mixes an angel and a devil together
Powerful is the word you’re looking for. It’s a powerful song. Loved your reaction. It’s what a lot of people get. Loved your video and keep up the great work.
A beautiful reaction. I can clearly see that you felt this one.
I appreciate that
My goosebumps got goosebumps listening to that. Just WOW!
Your reaction was perfect! You felt the despair of voices and music being silenced by a powerful force.
I found your channel today and subscribed to it today. Thank you for sharing this song and video ❤ i cried all through this mans singing.
Good reaction, this is maybe the best cover ever done.
that is exactly what i am trying to bring to youtube reactions "reality and honesty"! and for sure cant wait to react to them again
!
You go down the rabbit hole that is the reviews of this song, and you can forget the rest of your life....
Rabbit hole? Forget the rest of your life? WTF? HEY... Morphius! Lay off the krakrok!
Hi Eve ,
Just subscribed & yes this cover of the original Simon & Garfunkel is truly epic . I tear up & get emotional every time I listen to this song , so does millions of people around the world . More emotional now because of the pandemic. You emotions are beautiful & so are you , inside & out . David Draiman has a trained classical voice & trained to be a cantor.
Eve me encanta oirte hablando en inglés 😊☺☺
This song leaves many people speechless. 🤗
If you want to see their metal side, down with the sickness is a good choice. Love your raw emotion.
Watching you for the first time and I feel everything your feeling to this song......I’ve listened to it over 1000 times and still gives me goose bumps. If ur interested I have made a mini mix of my fav metal tracks only 5 but I think u would enjoy
What a beautiful reaction to this. SUBSCRIBED! Keep climbing my friend! 🙏❤️🔥
Benjo Reacts thank you!
Beautiful reaction to a beautiful and powerful cover!! I let myself well-up a little too
Another great song that gets you into your emotions is HURT by Johnny Cash
One universal stamp word for this... WOW
That was a nice reaction, Miss Eve. However, now I can't stop thinking about how I was enjoying Disturbed when they first started their band, and you was yet to be in this world. Ouch! (haha) .... You stay cool and keep on rockin'. Even more, stay safe.
Glad I am not the only one!
Dave will touch your Soul with his cover
For a contrasting cover of this classic song, listen to Pentatonix' version. They are a Grammy award winning super acappella group.
Disturbed makes powerful songs that all have a positive message in them. You should check out The Light. That one rocks a little harder but it's an amazing song. Dude can sing
I read on another channel God: David would you like an angels voice or a demons? David: Yes please
The jayy show
I saw the exact same comment haha
You noticed the colors of the video. That just goes to show what a great artist can do with a black and white video. So much more powerful!!!
David has a pitch perfect voice. I wish the music was at least as loud as your voice.
The man really touches our faith....our lack of faith to me.I just cry.Its a deep message.
For another heavy metal singer who can also sing beautifully check out Devin Townsend-Kingdom live at EMG
I am a 60 year old ex vet and I cried too. That's art
Simon and Garfunkel, son los genios de esa letra...
Beautiful and sincere reaction. You should react to "hallelujah" by Pentatonix. Is such a beautiful song!!
Truly great reaction
welcome to the world of metal signers that are just better than everyone else...
they covered this song amazing... u should also hear how beautiful limp bizkit covers “behind blue eyes”
I consider this song the second best cover ever done Distrubed interuptation is so well matched with the content. The only one better is Johnny Cash - Hurt. If you haven't done/heard it you really should it is incredibly emotional as well.
Beautiful your reaction! 😎❤💪
Glad you enjoyed
I've seen interviews he's given on the process of recording this, and they are fascinating.
You really should react to their live version on the Conan show, great reaction BTW
you muy bunita, so beautiful and your cat just makes it more, haha! I love your reaction so much. This song made me cry many times.
Thank you so much!!
Try , Hunters & Collectors - true tears of joy. They are an Australian Rock from 1992 . I love it.
Don’t worry everyone has the same emotions on there first time listening to this song. The message is powerful but he voice makes it 100 times more.......
Your reaction was the same as mine .. I love this song.. but this cover version is awesome .. I fully agree with all your comments.. and you are a professional.. 😎
Thank you so much!!
I love your reaction and interpretation...
