My rib cage flares out on one side because I have spent years not fully exhaling. So now I have times during the day when I consciously exhale until I feel my diaphragm engage, hold, and inhale. It has helped my ribs to come back in line, and I recommend it to everyone! The inhale takes no effort, it's the exhale that does all the work. Thanks for making me work my body so now I can focus on working my brain!

Hi, Ana Clara. When you’re warming up you want to move quicker through the poses, once you’re warmed up then you want to hold longer and really get deeper into the stretches : )
A great energizing class for a Monday. You can always find ways to challenge and stretch different muscle groups. Someday my hip flexors will also release. Always so tight.
My first time to join your class. This was a lovely flow. My mind was completely still and I could feel the energy rising throughout the practice. I also loved some new transitions and tips to longer the spine and so forth. The idea of a knee at my back doing warrior 1 was as mindblower. This was a wonderful class, Tim, really enjoyed it. On your question regarding strength training, to be completely honest, it wouldn't really be of interest to me. I already do strength training elsewhere, and come to your classes looking for exactly the sort of thing we get in the video today. I appreciate and find valuable the classes where we work on particular areas/moves, but my absolute favourites are always the ones were we get into a real flow, as I get into an almost meditative state, and I love it.
Your body can really surprise you of what it’s capable of doing first thing in the morning, this practice gave me a different kind of boost throughout my day !! 🙏🏽
The brisk pace of this flow reminded me of some of your early videos (e.g. the ones out on that pier). I usually prefer practices that hold the poses a bit longer, but variety is the spice of online yoga. As always, many thanks!
I never thought I would not go the gym - your videos have changed everything. I have just finished the 7 day beginners challenge and enjoying moving forward and upwards with you. My upper body is pretty puny so anything with bands would be a bonus if you can incorporate it into your workouts. I think you have a great way of looking at yoga and enjoy the options offered for those of us who aren't so bendy... Love seeing Ollie chilling in the background too. Thank you
