You have no idea how happy I am to bring myself on the mat today as its been 5 minutes since the internet was "freed" in Iran for the first time in a week . I was filled with anger, sadness, frustration and uncertainty and whether I'll be able to leave this place, and now I'm ready for the tears and all the tension to be released, this is my miracle of the day...I might have missed the last 7 days of the grateful plan but I am grateful to be doing this one in case the internet is banned again .your voice was with me though telling me to accept, let go and react differently ,who knows, one day I might be able to not only join your program but actually do a practice behind you!so thank you Adriene . thank you sooooo much...

Me too. This was an incredibly emotional practice for me. I was seriously considering ending my life yesterday due to academic stress and was thankfully stopped by my loved ones, but today I just started this practice because I woke up with immense neck and shoulder pain. I wasn't expecting to cry so much or have this practice resonate so much at this time in my life, but here we are.

Just wanted to say... I'm a few weeks late trying this one because I've only been making about 10-15 minutes for yoga most days. I finally carved out the time for this one tonight and it was heavenly. Thank you, Adriene. 🙏
That said, Adriene has had a huge impact on my life ever since I first heard her say "A little goes a long way." This was a new concept to me, that even if you only put aside a few minutes every day for yoga, it can have a huge rippling effect. I used to be of the mindset that if I can't do at least 25-30 minutes it's a waste of time and not worth doing. Adriene made me realize this is wrong and I am so grateful. I guess I just wanted to let people know that yoga can change your life even if you only have a few minutes a day. Even 5 minutes matters. Just remembering to breathe matters! Thank you so much again. Adriene, for all that you do and for being you and leading so many people to a life of healing and hope. Namaste.

In honour of our September calendar, when I swapped a few 🙄 I breathed my way through this awesome calming practice. I often use that deep slow Ujjayi breath when I need to be in control of my life, my pain and to reset my mind to keep positive. As we chilled at the end, it came to mind the Mantra given to you by your Mom .... “ everything is as it should be “ 🌺🙏 I feel so calm coming off my mat ! I’m looking forward to our STILL calendar and to being extra positive 🧘🏼‍♀️🧘🏻‍♀️🧘🏻‍♂️🙏💕

I am very thankful I found YWA 28 months ago. My life is so much better since I started doing daily yoga on Day 0 of HOME. I appreciate your guidance, gentleness, and mindful compassion Adriene.
I have been meditating daily for 45 years, enjoy doing it more often through your practices.
I do find sometimes thinking that it might be difficult for beginners to focus intentionally on breath when listening to a lot of information coming from you. I experience some times, like with this video, a bit of frustration.
The information. That you give is wonderful and important, yet many times is redundant and so much is coming out of you that there is not enough space to focus on breath and sensations. I hope you take this as a word of help. Will keep followings on TH-cam and as a member of YWA

Being able to listen to someone who just really gets relaxation and the importance of taking a breath is amazing. My tension was gone. My pain decreased. Did this practice with ear buds in on noise canceling mode, since my roommates were getting ready to go to a game at the beginning (and the living room is really the only comfortable place to do yoga in my place). It ended up being a surprising benefit because it amplified my breath in my ears, and in the beginning, sitting and doing ujjayi breath, my world filled with the ocean of my spirit. It was so calming. Reminded me of the bee breath I learned in a new video just earlier this week :) awesome!

Caught covid for the first time in 2 years this week (surprised it took til now as I work as a full time healthcare professional). The last day or two I've managed to get out of bed and I've been so sore and achy in my back. I returned to yoga today, and this practise didn't take away all of the pain but I am stunned by how much it did.

I have been dealing with chronic inflammation and severe back pain for years. After losing my mom to colon cancer in 2017, I have been dealing with severe anxiety and fear of death. I was not listening to my body for years and my problems continued to get worse until a couple of days ago when I had to go to the ER due to a panic attack combined with the pain of severe inflammation. I decided to change my lifestyle and refocus my energy on healing internally. I watched one of your videos recently and found this one today. I was not expecting to be so emotional but by the end my entire body felt so relaxed and I felt in control of my pain. i just wanted to thank you so much and share my experience so you can know how much you have helped me. I wasn’t sure I could make it to the mat today. My face (sinuses) hurt and my upper back (tension) hurt and I just felt bleh. Pulled up the app thinking maybe I cld find a quick 10 min head/shoulders something and this one was highlighted on TH-cam as it opened. Looked too long for my current energy / pain levels, but I decided to try. So glad that I did! This was just what I needed. The algorithm did its job well - and thank you Adriene for the gift of this session. The slow movements and focus on the breath helped to break up what was apparently stagnating in me. I love that I can mostly have my eyes closed during your videos and just follow the gentle sound of your voice. Really soothing - and confidence building to not need to look at the screen every 3 seconds. 💜

Stress and tension are things that build up over time and I don't get the chance to try and relieve them, this practise helped, I'll admit that at the beginning sitting on the pillows, straight back and breathing, my back was crying out to stop and I have a strong back, by the end though, my back and shoulders were relieved not totally but better than before and this is after waking up, great to see Benji absolutely crashed out during Adriene's practise. Thanks Adriene :)

I didn't sleep well last night and woke up feeling tense and anxious. I usually jump straight in to a yoga practice in the morning but I felt I needed more so I first did the 'meditation for anxiety' followed by this video. Amazing how 45 minutes can make such a difference. I feel so much calmer now and though my mind wandered in both videos it wandered to such trivial things. I've practised yoga almost every day since lock-down began and though it is starting to ease up here I am determined to stick with my yoga practice and continue to make time daily for myself in this way. Thank you, Adriene. Namaste.
