- In today's episode, 5 Americans will try 16 different British / UK Cadbury products in an attempt to determine the best UK Cadbury product of all time!! All products will go head to head in a single elimination tournament bracket until there is just 1 product left standing at the end to wear the "Cadbury Crown"!!
The 16 contestants in today's episode are Wispa, Wispa Gold, Picnic, Double Decker, Twirl, Flake, Curly Wurly, Marvelous Creations with Jelly Popping Candies, Dairy Milk, Dairy Milk Caramel, Buttons, Orange Buttons, Crunchie, Boost, Fruit & Nut, and Wholenut...who will WIN?!

Thought so-I used to buy two then separate then recombine the two layers and have one 100% biscuit and the other 100% nougat 😉

If you crush a Flake bar and sprinkle it on vanilla ice cream, it's delicious. In the UK, we stick a whole Flake bar in to a cone of soft scoop ice cream. It's called a '99'

Me as a kid on holiday in west country uk in the late 60's . Lucky and grateful to get a plain large cone with just ice cream , over the moon if you got a flake in it (99) best holiday ever if you got two flakes
It's gotta be a soft whip, straight from the van ice cream though.
A double flake 99 though, proper posh that is.
And with a drizzle of monkeys blood growing up in the 90s (Strawberry or Raspberry syrup for anyone not familiar with it) 🤣
Flake was discovered in 1920 by a Cadbury employee who noticed excess chocolate falling off the chocolate moulds and cooling into flakes of chocolate. Its most common use is in ice cream

I think it's an American thing to chew chocolate! Maybe because the way Hershey's made. But chocolate should almost be allowed to melt on the tongue!!!!!

My mum and her mum used to work in the factory in the 80s and my Nan retired from there and used to bring big boxes full of chocolate back. 👍

You wanna try starbar, twix, Cadbury creme egg, jaffa cake, kitkat, bounty, Turkish delight, lion bar, snickers, mars bar, munchies and tunnocks is nice aswell, they do a finger biscuit and a chocolate dome covered white fluffy marshmallow 😊

I don’t know how to get it to you guys but a Cadbury’s Flake in a Hocking’s Vanilla ice cream is a slice of Heaven from Devon. It’s called a 99 ice cream cone.
Also have you guys tried Galaxy chocolate? Sooo smooth, tastes amazing.

Have you guys seen the tv ads for some of these chocolate bars? In the 80s The Caramel Bunny was a Sybol, and the Flake lady was always in the bath. Then there's the Fruit and Nut song...

try the double decker frozen for a few hours in the freezer, u can strip eat it from the top leaving the biscuit layer for a second course.

Of coarse we have Marmalade in the UK, it’s all part and parcel of a British breakfast.
Buttered toast, Marmalade & tea is the next common breakfast after a full English breakfast or cereal.
It’s Portuguese in origin but the Brits LOOOOOOVE Marmalade… Quite honestly, I’m surprised Americans know what Marmalade is.

The best flavour of Cadbury buttons in my opinion is the twisted such a cool design and two chocolates blend so well. I would also say Crunchie Rocks are waaaaay better than a regular crunchie

I think that Crunchie is best left to dissolve in your mouth. In fact, I've heard 'experts' say that that is the best way to eat ALL chocolate.....if you have the patience! Love the commentary, btw!

You can't claim to have thoroughly covered the Cadbury chocolate range without trying Cadbury "Dark Milk".
Dark Milk is the perfect halfway house between Cadbury Dairy Milk and Cadbury Bournville dark chocolate.
It has a more adult taste without being too bitter. Please try Dark Milk Buttons, should be eaten straight from the freezer!
Dark Milk is also available in small bars, but the Buttons are definitely more fun to eat! This IS the Best Cadbury product imo ;)

I left the UK in 1975, some of those bars/etc were not invented yet, but I was imagining and remembering along with you guys , called it most of the time BUT I’ve never had a double decker … I enjoyed this so much I could taste it 😊

I love caramel, but Cadbury's caramel has never 'done it' for me. My go-to would be Galaxy caramel - salted or original 😋 As for Crunchies - smash them up inside their packets, then pour the crumbles over some ice cream. Game changer!

I sent some chocolates to my Dutch friend in the Netherlands as they don't get Cadbury out there, and he loved the Double Deckers.
The Curly Wurly never did it for me. I haven't had one sInce I was a child. I had to squeeze it in my hand to make it softer as I found it too chewy

Love crunchie. Though rarely eat it on its own and usually make cheesecake with it. Crunchie and aero mint are great chocolates to make cheesecake with.

Marmalade was invented in Scotland by James Keiller and his wife. His wife also made jams dating back to the 1500s. The name marmalade comes from the Portuguese word marmelos which is a quince paste

Hi from the English Midlands.. I gave up chocolate in February of 2023.. it was quite easy. Now having watched you tasting all those Cadbury chocolates I really, really want an orange twirl or a mint twirl or a wispa gold or caramel buttons....even a bar of dairy milk would do..but its 10.30pm and our village shop is closed😢 so now I've got to wait until tomorrow morning😭

Some excellent choices there. I like both the finalists, but I would have gone with the buttons. Orange chocolate is always great and these are no exception. I could easily eat two whole bags in one sitting.
