What are YOUR favorite AND least favorite Fanta flavors??
Orange and Lemon are the favourites, everything else can leave
Lemon and pineapple and grapefruit (lilt). Orange is ok grape is ok, rest of them I rarely drink.

Lemon comes out on top for me. Orange Tango and Orange Lucozade are better orange drinks imo.
Fanta in the U.K., for example, contains actual juice - which explains why it looks closer to genuine orange juice. In contrast, American Fanta contains high-fructose corn syrup instead of pure sugar and does not contain any real juice
and is coloured with artificial dyes.
You guys are so used to so much sugar or corn syrup in your foodstuffs that your taste buds struggle to taste low sugar or sugar free products.

Our soft drinks have wayyy less artificial crap in it. Less sugar, less crazy ADHD colour additives, and a small amount of actual fruit in instead of fruit FLAVOUR 🤣
Before they phased out the additives, my lad who's in his 30s now would get jittery and at the worst would lie face down and but the floor if he got something with the bad additives in it, we had to be at careful. It was twenty odd years ago and I'm so glad it's changed for the better as he's now got young kids of his own.

In the hierarchy of sweetener health, I would put high-fructose corn syrup as the most unhealthy, aspartame next and (counter-intuitively perhaps) sugar as the least unhealthy. The "zero sugar" label should read "chemically sweetened" to be strictly accurate.

I dunno why Americans find the more yellow (and natural) colour of European Fanta so strange given that it's a lot closer to the colour of natural orange juice than their neon/toxic waste coloured version is
In the UK we have food safety standards so a lot of the stuff out in food in us is banned in UK and Europe. Lemon fanta is great it's like cloudy lemonade x
I have trouble with UK soft drinks and Sodas as the E number used as a yellow food colouring causes me anaphylaxis yet I can drink US and Japanese Fanta without issue. Saying UK sodas are healthier than US or anywhere is else is fairly meaningless. Drinking a soda once in a while will not harm you but any soda fructose, dextrose, sucrose or artificial on a regular basis is bad for you.
Lemon Fanta was my go to when I visited Europe

@@BLANKSnooneaskedfor I'm from the UK, don't ever choose fanta over other drinks (karibbean kola, KA black grape, regular coke).
BUT, about 15 years ago Fanta lemon used to be Fanta icy lemon. That was the nicest fizzy drink I've ever had. Drinking that on hot days was next level. They dropped the icy from the name and changed the recipe and I stopped getting it. Wish you guys (and me!) could try a cold fanta icy lemon.
Our orange fanta reminds me of fizzy pure orange juice we all love it here

My favourite Fanta is what used to be known as Lilt. Grapefruit and pineapple.

Im sure theres a joke to be made there.... Hitler wanted coke for his troops but couldnt get the ingredients so had to make do with pervatin! (the brand name for meth that the Germans ate en masse as they invaded europe)
@scottmasson3336 it was made by the local production manager who used the German coca cola factory to make Fanta once the coca cola syrup ran out.
so the fact that the Fantasia Drink wa renamed Fata Prior to it's take over by Coca Cola, who couldn't get a break in europe due to dominatio of Fanta, (primarily Britvic Schwepps) and produced using local bottlers to regional fruit flavour just slides by the by of popular urban myth, th most popular flavour where Apple, Elderberry, Cherry, Raspberry, Pear, Elderflower, Plum, and Lemon, or even Shokota 9whey, Lemon and Elderflower)
Some interesting UK crisps on the way tomorrow, postage turned out a little more than I thought but got it sorted now:) Says to expect it in 6 days or so, so about April 24th?

Go and get some oranges, boys, squeeze through a juicer and check out the colour. You will be amazed that it's not the colour of the peel.
Great stuff. I love the Fruit Twist one. A few suggestions for your list:
After Eights - chocolate and mint after dinner mints
Chewits - various flavour chews
Skittles - various varieties
Orange Matchmakers
Lucozade - various flavours
Some random crisps such as Quavers, Skips, Wotsits, Bacon Fries, Scampi Fries.
A comparison of UK vs US similar products would also be a good fun.

The correct tier list for UK Fanta is as follows:
S Tier = Lemon & Fruit Twist (depends on which mood you're in but both are fantastic)
A Tier = Orange
All other flavours are irrelevant 👍😂
All worthwhile varieties are best served from a can (as chilled as possible) poured into a glass & also with ice (if possible). 👌

We don't use artifical colouring so it is weird for us that you think that orange colour is yellow. That is the colour of orange juice or orange flavoured things. The colour you think of is unnatural and can't be produced with natural dyes.

When i was young I remember Fanta as being mostly sold as a mixer drink There was an underlying taste in all the flavours that to me seemed to make it creamier - like cream soda. I think that is gone now.

Those caps being difficult to take off are because... you're not meant to take them off. It was an EU mandate caps should be tethered to the bottle if they can be recycled with the bottle. Someone believes people take the caps off and bin then while recycling the bottle... We're still getting used to them too.

That orange colour is what real orange juice looks like.No artificial colours. Of course we have watermelons in the UK. 0 sugar means artificial sweeteners which are noaaat good for you and leaves a bad aftertaste

There's 0 evidence from decades of research that aspartame, sucralose etc has ANY negative health effects. There are studies showing people that drink zero drinks are both healthier and lose more weight than those that don't (ok duh haha)

U should try fox's biscuits gents. You ought to look at food comparisons between the US ad UK in terms of quality standards. A lot of your additives are banned over here, we dont inject growth hormones into meat and carcinogenic extras are banned. Your bread would be classed as cake due to the amount of sugar. I actively don't like full sugar drinks. I find them syrupy and cloying, preferring zero sugar options. I do wonder however, if we use different sweeteners to the US, or use them in different ways.
Hot day = Lemon
Casual = fruit twist
With food = orange
Other fanta = dog shite
The other "new" Fanta Pineapple and Grapefruit, is literally Lilt re-released. Actually says Lilt on the side. Its definitely not dog shite lad.

In Denmark we only have them on milk for now (afaik) and it sorta works. I know it's just softening us up for a later change but thankfully we can still buy crates of glass bottled Fanta and Coke in 330ml if they ever try it on the 500ml jobbies.
@@rickybuhl3176you can still get coke in glass bottles here too. In fact most stores have a meal deal where you get a starter + main course + desert + 4 pack of glass cokes for £12.
Orange Fanta looks light because they don’t colour it like American soda. The colour had too many chemicals
The problem in the UK with the sugar tax we get a lot of drinks that should taste nice but all you get is the sweetener aftertaste which spoils the drink. Fanta watermelon is a good example as the full sugar version actually tastes far better. However to buy it you normally have to search the European stores here.

Fanta, is German by the way. I'm British and Would always go Fanta over Coca Cola and iIRNBrew .it's just Better.
Fanta before the sugar tax and before the formula change like 10 years ago was so good. Now it's just fucking sad, the sugar tax ruined most drinks. Now even the non zero drinks have sweetener in them giving you that aspartame aftertaste, there's basically no reason I'm the UK now to get the non zero version of anything other than coke (still use 100% real sugar)
