Lots of people know about faster crafting, but what you might not know is that you don’t have to mash the A button like crazy, you can just press twice in a row and it triggers the speed up process then you can let it play and save yourself the wrist strain!
If you plan on digging up a lot of flowers and don't want to keep crafting shovels then wait until Katrina tells you that you are having luck with belongings. Having luck with belongings means that for the whole day your tools will not break and you will not have to craft a bunch of tools in preparation 😁
Everyone should learn how to catch the wasps. Those are worth a lot of bells. Never shake a tree without a net if you know you have not caught all 5 wasps for the day.
@@DJBawnkers not sure with bell boom because I’ve never had that turned on (because of work I need night owl on otherwise I’d miss both shops every day) but they sell to Nook’s Cranny for 2,500 and Flick for 3,750. I always wait for Flick
You know how sometimes your villagers walk around drinking juice? The type of juice they drink is directly correlated to your starter local fruit. Your island started with apples? They’ll only be seen drinking apple juice. Cherries? You’ll only see them with cherry juice. Etc etc
Bob's Gang. Maybe it's an unpopular opinion, but I don't want to pick my island/city/village/town or whatever in the next AC game. I want it to randomly generate and I would like to have the ability to change everything. And I do mean EVERYTHING.
If you give your villager souvenir chocolates from HHP then they will come with you to work and you can design a vacation home for them. Plus they will have a bunch of unique dialogue when on the HHP island ❤😊
I try not to look when fishing and just to by sound and mainly feel when controller vibrates. As far as choosing island layout airport color is the least of my concerns. I prefer apples cause they look good year round but u can always put more of your favorite fruit River layout and plaza location are my most important concerns
I just do it by the vibrations. I learned early on that if I watch the fish I definitely fake myself out. I literally have to look at something random while the fish is biting but there’s a certain vibration when they’ve actually bitten.
19:20 "Once you have done so, you will automatically unlock it as a phone on your app." I know that you meant "as an app on your phone", but this is one of the grammar mistakes that I make a lot so it made me giggle to hear someone else do it. Thank you for the great video!
You can run on the beach to move faster when fishing and not scaring off the fish, only if you run while heading north with your camera angled normally so you see before you. You can see the fish on your way up, but you can't see them running south or east to west because most of your vision is a blind spot. I run going north but walk south and east and west.
I wish i shopped around for a better island the first time i made an island instead of just accepting the very first one i got. I wish didn't talk to my wanted villagers early when trying to get rid of unwanted villagers so the game wouldn't keep choosing my wanted villagers to be the ones wanting to move constantly slowing down the process. And i wish i discovered Twitch earlier to go to treasure islands.
Planting a sapling will not stunt a tree. You need to plant a piece of fruit (other than a coconut). Planting a sapling, other tree, etc will not stunt the growth.
I got relatively lucky with my third and forever island. I want to make a small town overgrown green colored island reminiscent of Bois crossing but based on Ed Edd n Eddy's peach creek town, only with mainly green, brown and white tone everything with some exception of some other colors. I don't love that my secret beach is dead center, normally i wouldn't care but where i want my museum and an extra building to be the middle school on a cliff at the back of The island, the secret beach is centered in that area right behind where i plan on having them and it bugs me because i would have preferred having that beach at it's own area with access to it, and i'm not thrilled that i don't have overly large beach rocks, they're not tiny they're just not the huge ones with the tide pools, and i really don't like that yet again, i ended up with another small dock never having a larger one despite having 2 different islands before this one also. I kept the island though because everything else is beyond perfect for what i want in it. I love where my plaza is because it gives me the perfect layout for where id want to build key places based on the show, i love that my airport is green staying in the color scheme, i love that my native fruit are peaches because hence the name of my island PeachCreek, i like that my peninsula is large, and i like that my native flower happens to be mums because i do use a lot of white mums on my island as well as the green ones, it would be perfect though if everything else lined up but i don't mind it as much, it still annoys me slightly though that the secret beach situation will be sticky, especially since i plan on getting my museum completed and would like an easy access to Redd after i complete my island, only then i will play it normally catching critters, getting art, and fossils and whatnot.
for HHP, i would kinda cheat and for many of the homes i would just immediately open all the packages and then finish. quick way to build up poki and you can always go back and redesign whenever and i don’t think i ever converted bells into poki lol always poki into bells cuz i was trying to pay off debt fast ty for the video! learned a few new tricks :)
@DJBawnkers thats alright. It's just been a while since i started (2020), and i have never reset my island, but i do remember that there should have been a warning before confirming.
I don't know if other people are being as extra as i am, but in each season, i turn my island into a season island. Meaning, i decorate in only one season as the perfect vibe i'm going for, like spring, but i intend to play in all seasons, but when the color change comes like in fall and winter, i change the colors of the leaves on my custom codes to make a winter island, or fall island, then change it back to the original color in spring and summer. I don't mean going into the find a QR code ap to switch out different version season codes, i mean i literally change the colors in the custom codes themselves, and no i didn't design them originally myself. Trust me it is hard...... I get a code i like, then i recreate it myself to have my own copy then i can change that code around whenever i like, but i have to have a written down record of the colors that goes into it. I've been doing it because sometimes the person who made the code remove them so you cant always rely on the ap to come through for you that way, and id like to have the codes fitting the island in whatever season. The trick is to decorate like normal, but once you're done with a build then time travel to each seasons to see what the code would look like in that season, and if you hate it or would rather it looking more within that season, then make your own copy of that code trying to replicate it as best as you can and then you can change the colors as you see fit when that season comes, but it's best to make sure you keep some kind of record of the original colors so you won't forget to put it back to how it looked before, because after all you liked it before so you'd hate to alter it and be unable to go back. Personally i don't change the colors of the leaves or anything on my custom path during spring, summer and fall because i like a bit of green in my fall colors, but in winter i change all the leaves to a blue green grayish color, and the dirt i go 1 pace to the darker and muted color side to make it feel more frozen like the brightness and vividness being less rich in color. Its easier if you have extra space in your custom codes because you can make copies if you make a mistake as well as having room for your own copy as you make them.
Yes! Also going to Kapp’n islands and cutting every tree/hitting every rock bc resources are worth a lot. Also look at the hot items every day because you can craft several of something and sell it for double.

Another fact: Villagers cannot pay off bridges / inclines in full. You need to make the last donation.
Important note about tree stunting, it has to be a fruit sapling. Not coconut, not hardwood, not cedar. It has to be a fruit sapling. Idk why but 🤷🤷🤷

If using Bluetooth headphones, fishing by sound doesn’t work because of the delay. Watch the bobber not the fish.
You just need some gaming Headphones then, barely any delay with them and it's how I do it.
