I was just coming to say this! Also I catch my villagers in Brewster, and I have recently started to be served pigeon milk in my coffee! He also just gave me a gift yesterday :)
Although it’s more of an early game reward, talking to Sable (the hedgehog working at the back left corner in the Able sisters) daily will eventually grant you unique custom designs, after she’s given you all of them she’s treated like another villager with rotating dialogue each day
Another useful tip: If you have come to a point where your museum has all fossils possible, get them assesed first and then sell them. If you don't get them assesed then you won't earn as many bells.
I used to play ACNH during the pandemic so much when it first came out, and then life came back. Over the last couple of years since then, I was able to play occasionally, but I was never really sure of what to do. I just picked it back up recently, and now with all the videos online for ideas, I’m excited to plan some new things! Thanks for the video, it’s super helpful!
Holy cow! I just started a few days ago and I've been looking for this specific kind of video, thank you. Going in blind, I'm actually really liking it. Never played an animal crossing game until now.
i probably wouldnt recommend selling iron gold or stone, you always earn more from crafted items than the raw materials, and theyre pretty much always needed anyway, like if you sell all your iron and then break your shovel its gonna be a lot more annoying/expensive to replace than it would be had you just kept the iron
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate straight-forward videos like these. They are to the point and are full of helpful tips. You never ramble on like so many do…and you even throw in a joke now and then. Thanks for taking the time to make these vids!
Hi idk if you already know this but if you put a hole behind where you’re going to smack a rock you can more easily gain all the resources like all 8 without having to keep moving I personally do three holes but some people find this excessive 😅 🕳️
Hey I have a tip dig holes behind you when you are hitting rocks you won’t go back and go back forward another tip click the left or right arrows and your tools will pop up
I just started playing animal crossing a couple of months ago, and this was very informative, thank you. Although I am totally in agreement with all you said, I cannot believe you don't check your mail everyday... I cannot even take the first step when I start up without checking my mail, you have way more will power then me. LOL!!
Love your island and the videos - everything very well explained - verbally & visually. I think I do all these most days (fairly new player) but also go to Harv’s to get my luck from Katrina before starting any tasks as this helps me decide what to focus on. Example, if friendship is favourable, I talk to villagers more or if belongings is favourable I go on a Kapp’n tour to get a rare island and do tasks that use tools as they won’t break. If trying to get more bells, I’d recommend selling crafted items to T&T (especially the hot item(s) of the day) rather than selling materials - you will earn much more. I also cook the produce before selling the dishes to the boys. But do price comparisons as, for example, cooking with non-native fruit will net the same as native fruit, so sell non-native directly for more bells. Also some fish dishes don’t make as much as CJ would give you for the fish. As I have my house fully expanded I think going forward I need to learn to stop focusing on bells and stop to smell the flowers more!
okok, so one of the things to do is to work on your builds, but what builds could you add? i gotcha covered! 1. a little stand near able sisters displaying clothing 2. community crafting area (its annoying to have to go to your house, villager’s house, or resident services everytime you wanna craft, so to save you a minute of loading screen, build that! 3. a pond (because it isnt a cottagecore island without an iconic pond) 4. a beach (i know theres sand, but you can add chairs, lights, mats, everything you need in a beach!) 5. a bit related to the first one, stands of anything! food stands, drink stands, anything! 6. a public farm thats all! hope yall found this helpful. have a wonderful rest of your day !!
I have played animal crossing on and off for not very long, but here are my overall thoughts. As a sims player, my main game since I was young and someone who never had an animal crossing game, I really struggle with being patient in animal crossing, the build tools are practically non existent and it is a bit janky for me to place objects and get them to go where i want especially outside the house, also everything just takes sooo much longer for something so simple and as an adult I simply do not have the time haha, but despite this it is still a super cosy game that I love and feel very relaxed playing, my favourite thing is updating the museum too or when finally something new happens; I just see other peoples super perfect islands with billions of things and features that I still havent unlocked, and don't understand how they had time to do all that, I just feel like it is so slow. Also they make it soo difficult to rearrange your island, and I only just found out you can use custom designs as flooring etc but then they're limited in number. There are other limitations I cant understand such as only being able to get all fruits if you connect online with friends, why? or having to pay nook to sell his land? or be the only one donating for bridges etc wtf lol

Nice video. Great recommendation. I don't think I could do all this every day but I do try to do 10 or 15 of these and then do the rest the next day, but I'm not one that can sit and play a video hours at a time either.
I always change my outfits to suit the weather, do a lot of nook miles tasks, invite real friends there to fish, bug hunt, water flowers and have coffee.

I believe that it is very dangerous for one who wishes to avoid getting a burn out… such a long and specific routine kills what makes each day different… but I understand that it can be looked as something motivating in the short time
I agree. I'd rather use this as a suggestion, rather than a routine. For me, I rarely hit my rocks or check my ABD for Nook points, andInever collect produce or fruit, but I'll shake every (non-fruit) tree each day. I suppose you just need to find the things you want to prioritise, and the rest is just a bonus if you do them.
The problem is that we can do all of these in 10 minutes or less, then there is nothing else to do again. I wish the new AC games had the system of AC Gamecube, where you can do quests for your villagers every minute, this way you still have something to do after doing the daily tasks, and get more reasons to interact with your villagers.
fun fact about the villagers! if you talk to your villagers enough they might give you a nickname! one of my villagers fallicity gave me the nickname sweetens!
There are two furniture trees per day. And you can put in 30,000 into a money tree hole, which has a chance to give you a much higher amount then just tripling. The fish available changes at 9 AM and 4 PM, same with turnip prices in the shop. Every day you will find one DIY on your beach and will get one from your villagers.
I wouldn't sell things like iron or clay. Save them until there's a hot item that uses those materials, craft the item, and you'll get four times the Bells for them when you sell the item.
id like some thoughts on this: ive been thinking abt resetting as my island is VERY broken. however, idk if i should. what i mean by broken is, dialogues that should be unlocked arent, unlockables arent available, museum is impossible to make, etc etc. (by impossible, i mean that no matter how u try & get nook to invite blathers it does not work at all). villagers just straight up disappear as well, like boots will be here one day & gone the next, and then back an hour later. no npcs have ever spawned, (keep in mind, ive had this file since dec 2020 & played most days) and tom nook just randomly vanishes & goes all glitchy. idk if any of this is a weird feature, but i think my island is affected by demons.
my only routine everyday is pick up every seashells and bottles and catch some fish and bugs if its nearby, sell all those bugs and fishes (and recipes if i learnt them), check the able sisters for interesting clothes, claim them nookmiles from the abd machine and check for interesting stuff in there and lastly deposit 10k. It all goes in that exact order and tbh im enjoying it LMAO
ty this really helped! now ima just go on my island this is video is very nice and comforting you, this incorages you to do more stuff! you deserve a follow!!
Small thingi. If u have a net and u finde wasps U CAN CATCH THEM. Wasp nests arent expencive but every bell counts!!!! If u use ur tools a lot to dig and stuf. When selling ores i would keep at least half (iron is needed same as wood and rocks)
The nests always come in handy for crafting some medicine, also you may eventually get a DIY recipe for a bee keeping box and that will require a few nests (I think 3, not sure)
Just came across (no pun intended) your channel & I love your vibe & aesthetic! Have you thought about doing an island tour? I just bought the game & would love to get some inspo
For the weeds that become a huge problem for time travelers, once you access Harve's Island and build all the shops, Leif will open shop there on the days he isn't on your island. When you talk to him there, you can hire him to clear all the weeds for you.
Then there's me who made myself rich on Nookazon trading over the course of months, completed the DLC, and bought a giant pack of villager amiibo chips and now feel as though I have everything I could ever want. I didn't build my Rome in a day, it took over a year... but now that it's built, it's like I have nothing left to do some times But my sister just started playing literally a few days ago, dm'd this to her she is gonna love it.
I love the path designs on your island! I just go to the custom designs portal to find path designs😂❤ And this video was helpful because I never know what to do when I'm on my island thank you!!
Another thing to do is check the item of the day at the nook shop. This is how I got rich. If they list an expensive item you can craft a couple dozen of those and get a nice hefty sum. I usually only do it for the pricey items, tho…usually those made of iron or other precious/rare item.
I am doing all this and I interact with my villagers but they’re boring tbh but I am so following all this but I sell a lot I found that it’s useful I may only get a thousand bells or less but it’s useful
How did I not know that about the money trees? I’ve just been digging the money up and then filling it in and leaving ! Starting that tomorrow . I already do most of the other things you listed , thanks !

Then there's me who made myself rich on Nookazon trading over the course of months, completed the DLC, and bought a giant pack of villager amiibo chips and now feel as though I have everything I could ever want. I didn't build my Rome in a day, it took over a year... but now that it's built, it's like I have nothing left to do some times
But my sister just started playing literally a few days ago, dm'd this to her she is gonna love it.
Thank you! This has helped me so much since I got this game the other day
WHEN YOU GOT THE SKY BALLOON YOU MISSED A FISH WITH A FIN!! MIGHT HAVE BEEN A SHARK!!!!!
such a calming video, love it keep it up xaloe..! 🤗😊
Thank you:)
Kapp’n be Cappin with that price like god damn
I feel like I go to the same mystery island every time 😢
Omg I have Sasha on my island too!! She's one of my dreamies :))
don’t sell your gold, iron, clay, stones, wood etc. much more valuable when you craft them into something
NO YOU LET THE BALLOON GIFT FLY AWAYYYY
Not me watching this video to get inspiration for building bc your island is stunning 😂
thank you:)
your island is so pretty!
Thanks!!
Here's a fun fact: You burn more calories sleeping than you do watching TV.
I mean that explains why its so rough to get out of bed in the mornings
@@50zezima 🤣😂
Haha that IS a fun fact! 😊
Good night then
@@Sean-xb8ke good night
I am doing all this and I interact with my villagers but they’re boring tbh but I am so following all this but I sell a lot I found that it’s useful I may only get a thousand bells or less but it’s useful
@2:31 "Tater tot". Yup, sounds like a Sherb certified nickname for sure. Gosh, Sherb is one of my favorites.
Also, great looking island!
How did I not know that about the money trees? I’ve just been digging the money up and then filling it in and leaving ! Starting that tomorrow . I already do most of the other things you listed , thanks !
this video is so cozy and comforting
thank you, and good luck with exams!!
Your village is goals!
her voice is so calming.. :)
While she was explaining the stuff I was watering flowers and cleaning my island bc it had tons of stuff that I didn't need from shaking trees
1:26 some random tip:
If you just sell the fossil withous assesing them, they cost 80 bells. But if you asses them, they cost 1000+ bells
How are you watering just one plant? Without automatically swinging from side to side and watering 6 plants at a time?
your voice is really adorable and calming
If u want to know how to do rocks and get it full just dig some holes behind u!
i just recently restarted my island and this is gonna helpe me play everyday!
I’m glad it helped you!
I have a hack for fishing, there’s a specific sound for when the fish is fought on the hook. So listen carefully and you’ll hair the specific sound 😊
GREAT vid, super helpful!!
Thank you, I’m glad it helped!
Im so jealous, you island is so clean and pretty while mine looks like crap-
thank you, yours will come with time:)

Thank you!!
Another thing you could do if your island isn't so advanced is you could make you own styled clothes! Or sell weeds some tree's ect! :)
For sending mail, I remember sending on to myself in a year, and I just got it maybe 3 days ago!
Your island is so prettyyy !!
