I wish we could have customized the pipes so a green pipe would go to a green pipe, a red would go to a red.. and onwards. Because we can't determine exactly where we'll come out if we have 3 or more I just keep 2 on my island.
I have an outdoor kitchen, mini workbench, ABD, storage shed, and changing dresser all next to Nook's Cranny. Massive boost to item management efficiency! I also have four pipes, one at each corner of the island. (Which also shows up the downside of pipes - once you have more than two, your emergence point is random and there's no way to control it. But getting all the way across the island is still worth it.)
When resident services was closed it was nice to fall back on having an ABD. Also always carry a storage shed and a simple workbench.Rolf told me he saw me picking up shells the day before and if I didn't leave any for anyone else that I was being shellfish. Bob's Gang!
Bob’s gang. I customised my sheds to make them look like little beach huts then put four different colours next to each other. I always carry one and a bin with me too. Oh, and a pipe!
Yeah, the storage shed is the reason I can always wait for CJ and Flick to come by to sell my critters. I just immediately put them in storage after catching them, wherever I go
Best use for the Mario pipes is to place one at the NE and NW corners of your map, so you can continue your beach combing and skip the unusable north coast.
I love wearing the Maid Dress all the time. Ona day, I don't recall exactly who but I believe it was Maple, I entered her house to chat and she asked me for a coffee, then she apologized and said she thought I was on service.
i started carrying around a diy workbench because i couldnt be bothered to go back to resident services when i wanted to craft a new tool or furniture item. i have since stopped doing this but i keep one at my house. it was more really useful when i had to make the houses for the 3 villagers who moved in before resdients got upgraded
i set up a diy station roughly center on my island and it has been great so far. a diy workbench, and then a semicircle of stone stools each holding my most commonly used materials (3 types of wood, tree branches, stone, iron, clay, weeds, and even customization kits) it’s also really close to my house, nooks cranny, the museum, and resident services so i can refill materials on my way to sell things and dump excess outside my house to store later
I would like different color pipes that work together so that when you place them you know where you are coming out therefore you can have more than two without hoping to come out where you need to. IMHO
I gotta admit, some of these I didn't know and I've been playing since game launch. I love the storage shed so much, it's one of the best things we received! I usually have little crafting zones around my islands for convenience and always have a shed nearby. It's worth the investment and then some. Bob's gang 👍🏻
One of my favorite lil dialogue interactions is when 2 villagers begin talking and they pick up eachothers catchphrase through the conversation or ask the other villager if they can try saying it-basically showing how they share catchphrases 🥺
Speaking of quotes, some unique quotes can be seen based on how friendly you are to a villager and/ or interact with each of them. For example, I probably have very high friendship with Shino and she once made a mention of how others have noticed I was talking a lot with Fauna one day and said that we should talk a lot also.
I remember this instance where I played til like 3am, and by the next day, Raymond had said something like, "Oh hey, I heard you pulled an all nighter last night." It was rather touching that they actually notice my hard work
I believe you have to have paid off your house or store a certain amount of bells or something to unlock the abd for purchase. I can’t remember the exact criteria, but it’s not a default option. I only unlocked it recently. It also doesn’t count as a nook stop so it’s not nearly as functional as the one in resident services sadly. But it is so useful to have out and about for quick deposits!
I was wearing a ribbons & heart knit dress and all my villagers were saying how cute I looked and Sasha was trying to figure out if I was cuter or the dress
Bob's Gang! 😂 My toxic stance, right now: Srill final home loan and storage upgrade away from getting that blasted shed, yet already begun my final (first and only) island terra-forming design. I am... a masochist
Hello Bob's Gang! Bob is my ultimate favorite cat in all of the games . Plus, I love your channel. You are doing a great job.🙂👍 I have at least 3 each of the ABD machines, the cooking stoves, the DIY stations and sheds, and 3 pipes and 2 wardrobes around my island. And here's a tip on how to get rid of the unwanted items, all you have to do is fly to an island and dump the unwanted items there. It works. I hope this tip is helpful for anyone.
Sometimes when a villager gifts me a clothing item, I put it on and then start talking to them again and they will give me another item that matches that.
Im not sure if this is the right video to ask under, but have you / will you ever do over an in depth description on how you personally decorate and make islands more alive and cohesive?
I actually have another one about outfits I discovered recently. I don't know if it's specific to when you're talking to a villager inside their house or not, but if you are wearing an outfit designed by another player that you downloaded off the design portal, villagers will comment on that and even refer to the creator by name.
I just want to say that I love these videos so so so much. I’ve possibly seen every single tip & trick in ACNH but I will still watch your tips videos. They are so relaxing and comforting to me. Keep up the awesome work!! You and your efforts are greatly appreciated and loved ❤
I had no idea I could change up my villagers' tools and umbrellas!!! I'm gonna do that!!! I finally have all the photos I want, so I'm gonna bring in all my dream villagers and customize them to the 9s! Thank you for that tip!!
One thing I'd like to mention is if you have an item your trying to get rid of like a forbiden item from a treasure island or a piece of fake art, you can leave them on a kappn or nook miles ticket island and they will be permanently deleted then also.
Planting fruit trees, yes even palm trees..thinking they counted to get my stamps! Only cedar and hardwood trees bought in the shop😂 honestly it took me a good 4 months to figure out 😊
As someone who's only recently come back New Horizons after getting fed up with the lacking dialogue, I'm honestly surprised just how much has changed since launch. By the time that 2.0 came around, I was feeling so burnt out that I hardly noticed all the improvements and instead quit to focus on New Leaf. I feel like most of the issues I had aren't as big of a deal now compared to launch, but my main issue with dialogue still stands... to an extent. While there is a lot of dialogue in NH, I feel like too much of it is focused on specific scenarios and details and not the more generic situation. In NL, I'd maybe run into repeated dialogue one or twice a week at most, but in NH it feels like it's nearly every day, if not in the same day. A lot of that is probably because my old island just didn't have a lot of things for villagers to bounce off of. I'm taking a much different approach in my new island, instead of a rural town with a nature focus, I'm going to have a denser city surrounded by rural features. Hopefully this, along with more naturally being introduced to features added in 2.0, will change how I see the game for the better.
The pipes were kind of a necessity to get to Redd's ship without always having to swim. His ship always stays at some small part of the island in the north that is surrounded by cliffs that you can't climb down and can only be reached through swimming. Or by placing one of the pipes.
To get rid of unwanted items, just drop them on random islands using nook miles tickets or kappin. Works with getting rid of the fake art if you didn't want to decorate with them.
I always just carry a pipe in my pocket, and leave one in my house. It's useful as a quick-warp, without clashing with any theming since I can just design a room in my house around it.
I stopped playing before they dropped the 2.0 update and I recently started playing again and notice the HUGE difference in the dialogue! I noticed it right away even before knowing they had a 2.0 update back in 2021 lol I’m so glad! The old dialogue was short and boring asf. Now it’s super funny to me lol
You could put the other items you keep in your inventory at all times in there so you can access them without needing to have them take up space in your pockets.
if you buy something from one of your villagers houses when they invite you over, and then give it back to them, they will mention the item being suspiciously familiar!
BOBS GANG DOWN BELOW I can’t believe I’ve never known about gifting the villagers tools!! I’m about to color coordinate EVERYONE I do love when I don’t have to run far for anything, so i tend to put storage sheds, dressers, and kitchens all over my island. I choose a different style or color depending on the theme of the area. My Nook’s Cranny area is themed orange and blue, so i have a dark blue shed there, and a little setup of ironwood dresser/diy bench/kitchen. But the museum is more vintage styled, so i have a wooden storage shed, simple DIY bench in the weathered gray. The gray ABD and upright locker fit in quite well! Plus i like to give most of my villagers a shed next to their house as part of their setup. My island is very functional 😂
I delivered a gift for Zucker and when I came back to get the "how did it go?" dialogue, then he tosses out "We're going to have to get together to discuss this island situation soon.". What flippin island situation dude? Where did that come from? Also I thought you had to mod your Switch to hear your villagers talk to each other? If I'm wrong I have no idea how to do it.
I’m super bored in the game! All i know is to dive, dig, fish and catch! Waiting for museum and trying to get a bigger house but im super bored! Somebody pls helpp
honestly your experience isn't too uncommon with players of this game. i would find something you like to do, and do it! it does take real time for things to get done, so a lot of people "time travel", which is changing the date or time on your switch to speed up time. hope this helped a bit :)
Crossing, you would love my island (dream version and current one I'm finishing after flattening) for my use of the pipes❤ Right now, next to my Nook's Cranny I have and ABD, working bench, storage shed and a he garbage can. It's super useful and definitely recommend
I love storage sheds, not having to run home for something is so helpful
You can also put things in storage in bulk, I hate having the click on each object and clicking up to put in storage
I wish we could have customized the pipes so a green pipe would go to a green pipe, a red would go to a red.. and onwards. Because we can't determine exactly where we'll come out if we have 3 or more I just keep 2 on my island.

If i became president we would all have to wear animal crossing clothes🎉😂

Omg that's so smart, I think I'll do that! That'd also be great for ocean fishing or catching bugs that spawn in the coconut trees 😁
I love wearing the Maid Dress all the time. Ona day, I don't recall exactly who but I believe it was Maple, I entered her house to chat and she asked me for a coffee, then she apologized and said she thought I was on service.
Lols I should start wearing one 😂
hahahahaha

I love lazy villagers they're so much more of a vibe, beau won't stop talking about the incident but the rest of them are awesome
About dialogue - if you give them a gift that they gave you, they'll say something like "where have I've seen this before..?"
Speaking of quotes, some unique quotes can be seen based on how friendly you are to a villager and/ or interact with each of them. It's apparently unlocked after all of your home loans have been paid off. Quite a hefty unlock requirement lolol
I love listening to the villagers chatting to each other and giving them tools as gifts, especially the elephant watering can which is so cute!
I was wearing a ribbons & heart knit dress and all my villagers were saying how cute I looked and Sasha was trying to figure out if I was cuter or the dress

Easier to just throw stuff away in bins, won't have to travel! I keep a rattan wastebin in my kitchen and throw unwanteds there.

I hide the pipes behind trees so that it isnt as obvious
Planting fruit trees, yes even palm trees..thinking they counted to get my stamps! Only cedar and hardwood trees bought in the shop😂 honestly it took me a good 4 months to figure out 😊
Sheds and pipes I use every day
I have around 300k nook miles. I don't spend them very often lol

Bob's Gang! I just started a new island. I really want to finish it this time.
I just restarted my island after not playing since about right after the 2.0 update, very useful video!

couldn't you also get rid of the corrupted items by leaving them behind on a nook miles ticket or Kapp'n mystery island?
Hey, Hi Ben & ' Bob's Gang '
I started playing ACNH summer 2022 ...
👋🏻😸👍🏻
I have Bubbles and Pango which both are always yapping about being a pop star
I didn't know about the ABD it was so useful and so was the storage shed! Bob's gang! 😀
When you were talking about two villagers talking to each other, I found two of mine chatting… are you spying on my island??
if you buy something from one of your villagers houses when they invite you over, and then give it back to them, they will mention the item being suspiciously familiar!
IM SO GLAD U GAVE ME A TUT ON STORAGE CABBNITS
BOBS GANG DOWN BELOW
I can’t believe I’ve never known about gifting the villagers tools!! I’m about to color coordinate EVERYONE

I just started on my birthday now I love it😭💖
25:33 I've upvoted because of "nintended". You sir are a comedian. Bravo, it's so silly I started gilling like a fool.
5:00 Put them one at airport an other one is in a fench-blocked area where I put my stuff I want to sell or such in it ^-^
I had a villager ask if I can set up a public bench and a place for shade on day 5 of starting
Omg...shed in my house- genius!!! Tytyty
Not me with 57,000 nook miles. I rarely ever spend em. 😂
And... 9,000,000 bells...😰
can the storage shed be taken with you to the nook mile islands or kappn islands? if so, that would be cool!
I put the brick oven on my picnic area and it's always cooking pizza.
Did you know that at the top of the hour the fountains spray the water greater and higher
you could probably get rid of the mannequins by leaving them at the mystery islands
Bob's gang. How *do* you make another human character?
I can’t seem to find the ABD in the nookmile shop
i have multiple ABT's on my island. i even have one in my basement/man cave because....i'm a frickin rich lol
"yarr me wife took the kids" I JUST SPIT OUT MY COFFEE LMAO
There is another way, drop them on a treasure island and say goodbye to them
I've restarted my island a couple of times now. My current island I'm frustrated with because it's stuck at 2 stars
If you ever do an open island can i please come over hahaha it looks very cool
Can I visit your island? 😊 it looks amazing
If you wear just a towel the villagers make comments like, “just wearing that today?”❤
Is this another ACNH complication from your previous videos? Quite helpful for new players!
When I restart, i have a wand, shed and blue rose.
Pipes I keep behind my house so they are hidden.
Ty!
I’m super bored in the game! All i know is to dive, dig, fish and catch! Waiting for museum and trying to get a bigger house but im super bored! Somebody pls helpp

so much bells you dont know what to do with now? Ill take em!
Did he ever continue his Happy Home Paradise all villagers thing?
Bob's Gang! I learned some new tips today. Thanks!
We DEFINITELY need a Zelda update
As far as the pipes just dig a hole to hide it
You can figure out your residents zodiac, birthday, and favorite saying just by looking at the photo of them they have given you! :D
Me and Marlo had beef fr 18:18
What's your switch ID? I have no friends, since I started to play last week xD
Why is everyone on his island’s catchphrase “money”? Lol
Crossing, you would love my island (dream version and current one I'm finishing after flattening) for my use of the pipes❤
Right now, next to my Nook's Cranny I have and ABD, working bench, storage shed and a he garbage can. It's super useful and definitely recommend
The villagers were much better in New Leaf. I feel as if they’ve lost personality.
Is there a reason you can't drop mannequin items on a nook miles island...?
It’s not possible to drop furniture items on those islands, and you can’t drop them as a leaf.
I'm new to the game, how can I get bells faster?
Started today, any tips?😅
ok
I have 100,000 Nook miles, is that a lot?
Bob’s gang
Bob's gang
stoping a random 5y old from sayin first
