Well done sir! Nice CPU farm you've got started there! I have not tried CPU mining yet...
I remember the fish lol
I almost didn't like the video bc you were at 169 likes lololol Great video as always Panda! You are a heck of an inspiration!!
03:00 hello old friend, the barn!
03:12 GAT DAMMIT
14:20 some boards need AC on to work with ATX stuff that powers on before the power on call. set the bios correctly and it'll go. ran in to that issue when I ran ATX splitters with dissimilar motherboard pairs. would not post no matter what.
🐠 Panda can’t you just extend the pico 6 pin with the standard breakout yellow cables? They should just connect no?
I have that exact ASUS b450m Prime and had the same issue with the ZSX AMP. The board requires 4 12v lines on the cpu side. I resolved this issue by using half of the 8 pin connector from the 24 pin + 8 pin pcie and the pther half from a PCIE 6pin to 8 pin cpu adapter cable. The bottom line is that this board requires 4 12v lines and 4 ground lines. By combining the 2 12v lines that come out of the cable included and using the other 2 from the PCIE rails plus an adapter. It looks jank AF but it works and it doesn’t heat up. If a board allows you to use the included cable it’s not good news anyway because you would be putting a 4 line load on 2 lines that are (y) split at the end.
yes. had this same issue with an msi board a couple gens back
Do you have a diagram or video you could reference? Trying to visualize what you're doing. I have the same issue.
Do you have a diagram or drawing of your setup? I'm having the same issue.
I Feel like you need another red husky shelf panda. Could space the shelfs closer together to use the bottom part shelfs for gpu rigs on one shelf and the bottom shelf on the other rack for cpus and top shelf for the hard drives ans the other one the jasminer
what are those PICOs rated for? curious how they work out for you and if they get hot. i think i had 150w ones that weren't enough for the ryzen9.
I CPU farm and use both AIO water coolers and Air Coolers. I would be interested in finding out which budget cooler seems to be your preferred cooler. I realize it doesn't take a 250 Watt rated cooler to do the job.
30 days of cpu mining rig builds in theaters near you LOL!
DAMN IT KIING LOL
I think King meant 20
which ones did you build?
live stream or videos, just start an assembly line and fire up one rig at a time on a workbench then once its tuned/healthy then move it to the pico power supplies/main CPU mining table. Also, reconsider using zip ties and a aaawave frame :)
Looks very nice. Like a good Real Good Start!! When does it End!!?? ;) What is there 100 miners lol
Use PCIe 6pin extention cables. I have some from Cablemod I believe that I used for risers.
I built a test xmr rig with 7900x to see hashrates. I'm impressed but instead of building 4 or 5 different 7900x's I'm leaning more towards a 7960x. One system, less variables and troubleshooting.
how much is the hashrate of the power consuption of the fish please ?
Have you caused a fire yet with your pico cables? Any issues starting and stopping individual CPU miners that are connected together on a single PSU?
i fig u will need to build or buy power cord extenders to get all on one psu and look neat on desk.
Hey RPM, Byz here. I believe I'm at a stage to get more serious as I've got 2 rooms dedicated to mining but I'm embarrassingly enough still using NH's mining pools through their stratum connections. I have a good setup with Koinly and Kraken for selling BTC while being able to pay my taxes every year but it seems like none of the hardwallets support regular XMR, NexaPow. I'm also having difficulty finding exchanges in the US for what I'm mining.
Do you think you could do a back to the basics video? I'm basically converting everything to BTC live while I mine at this point.
What coin are you cpu mining thats profitable? Ive got a Ryzen 9 3950x workstation and those cores are largely idle most of the time.
I wonder if one of the volt rails is really sensitive on that board and something is just out of spec on what the pico is delivering....
How many kh/s is everybody running? I currently have 303 kh/s @ 2540w at the wall 240volt single phase 60HZ power.
What coin are they mining? What os and software are you using?
I'm wondering if you can rig up nine motherboards on 21 GPU open frame rig. If yes, stack another one on top and you got a eighteen CPU rig stack. Otherwise, I'd probably use wire shelvings and stack as many shelves as possible.
Red panda are you ever gonna setup a hot and cold isle with permanent walls not made from cardboard? You won’t have to worry about sweaty summer mining anymore.😊
good job bro😉👍
test a different Pico supply looking for a defective one.
wait how are those working without graphics? did he set them up with a GPU and then removed it? i thought it wouldnt post
lol my cable management ocd blew a fuse watching this
Hello, have you already thought about building a Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7995WX with 96 cores and 192 threads for mining?
Damn my 6 rig 3900x setup only use's 700 watts total with 3 atx psu's. using Rabid's tweeks
what are those micro atx motherboard ?
also every room panda super cluttered LOL!
Ye a little messy
hy you have a link for pico ?
whats he mining? monero? is there a video on how to optimize for it? maybe on how to mine it? i use to mine it on nicehash
RPM great video man. Does anyone here know where to get motherboard stands that are similar to the ones RPM is using here (CCXD is not selling them anymore). I bought some other type from eBay, but they tend to tip forward even when placing the MB upside down. Thanks
It scares me a bit only 2 wires powering the pico psu?
Panda will you give us a link to those picos 😊?
What are u mining on cpu ?
Did you try another cable?, maybe that cable was faulty.
I really need to build more CPU mining rigs lol
how you run this with out gpu?
damn what happened to the barn
How much per cpu build
yes, fishy is back!
Man this guy. Can we get a link to file for the leg stands
Cpu rigs FTW!
I need to go back and find out about this fish
lol
U should be around or under 400w for 3 rigs
Live stream everything!
Link for pico psu please
how big is your basement?
casually walks past the 20 gpu mining frame and cards, hoping we don't notice!
damn it Carlm lol
Long time listener, first time caller here !! Sir no offense, you need shop helper 😂😂😂😂
Man I love this mining stuff 🎉🎉. I found a few of my cpu farm don’t like to be removed from power. They some how forget they are to restart after power loss. I just add power button to those mother boards and keep on pushing :). Once you have them all powered up and running in their “ home “ spot, they will act accordingly. Well most of the time they do. Hope that helps. I mine out of an apartment, makes things a little more “ interesting “ 😊
😅 just splice the lines between the pcie and the Pico and add some cable
What are you mining? Is it profitable yet?
if your gonna spend all this money on motherboards, so you can mine on 1700x's that are making like 10 cents a day... and each board requires ram and just well an entire setup realistically.. and you have Dominator Ram in most of them ? why not just go big and build out a couple of server style boards that can run multiple server cpus.. or at least run threadrippers.. the hashrate of a 1700x is like 1500mhs, hardly seems worth all that hardware to mine on something like that, but do you man, Ive always been a big fan, just a little confused about your cpu mining adventure with some of the expensive hardware running low hashrate cpus and taking up that much space.
amazing can u hire me as a apprentice and teach me the way, i have a very good understanding of components and how they work and a high demand to learn and continue this avenue id love to persure
Damn it panda, now the hashrate will moon, because everyone just dies what you're doing!
surprised you are mining with a 1700x. i have a 1700 that i turned on. i think go 4 kh out of it
That’s a lot of motherboards lol
CPUmining ftw ⛏
inspired by you my friend!
Slowly getting started here as well again :) and first thing I did was cpumining haha! Slow and steady, hopefully :D Sending you and your family much love! ❤looking forward to the builds@@RedPandaMining
One day, I hope I’m rich enough to be a CPU miner too
lmao
WEN ? ? ?
WEN? ? ?!
Bro I need help
how much the milk fish :) hehehe
The Fish ;-)
Aka panda don’t want a divorce so rigs need to stay in the basement
your going to talk into and smack that table. then watch a CPU frame fall off the end onto the floor. put it on a shelf bro... I've go my CPU rigs on a pice of MDF just big enough for the board and the external 300 watt pico. i use a PCIe extenion cable to extend the 12v to the break-out board.. all running off one HP PSU.
To be honest. I Would rather have 1 psu with 2 cpu conectors. I would look better. I guess u have a lot of psus, so that would not be a problem :)
you know that privacy coins are doomed ?
✌🏻
Panta you are late. CPU gold age was 2-3 years ago. Now you go for mostly fun..
ripping that plastic stuff off in the first few seconds ruined the video for me
Videos, I don't watch livestreams.
Atx is best
Send ME old GPU cards😂😂
第一
Yikes! I pitty da foo who gotta do all that! They should be so simple to setup, but gremlins are real 🫣
CPU mine volkhash!! $vhh It's marketcap is too low!!
