    Hi Outdoor guy, I'm in Australia and planning a front disc brake conversion on a 72-73 J4000 with a Dana 44 closed knuckle front axle. To the best of your knowledge are the parts the same for the J4000? Parts for Jeep and Chevy are not so common here and I'm having real trouble finding Jeep parts that seem easy to come by in the States, I can order them from the States but freight is nearly as much as the parts price unfortunately. Oh and thanks for your guide and info :-)

      +J Grieve Thanks for watching my video. I would assume they are the same. Dana is an axle that was used with several automobile companies.

    Did you tack weld the studs in the rotor I thought I saw that in the video?

    • @outdoorguy5485
      @outdoorguy5485  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +David Johnson I cant remember. shouldnt have to

    • @outdoorguy5485
      @outdoorguy5485  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +David Johnson Looking back yes i did tack weld the studs on that side because the hub was wore out on that side. the studs were not fitting tight. This is only because the hub was wore. the new studs should fit snug.

      Doesn’t this change the lug pattern from the original? I was thinking of just upgrading the front of my 64 J200. Don’t want different lug patterns tho front to rear
