DAN! I finally got a new motor for the old girl and I wanted to remove some bottom paint! I searched and who shows up but you! Thanks for making the video bud! I recognized your voice in the first few seconds lol.
@@DIYeasycrafts I wish! I was down all year. Motor died at the end of 2021. I went to NC last week to get a new used one. Fingers crossed for next season!
Just bought myself a Maxi 77 from 1976... I'm sooo gone use you method for stripping paint off below the waterline! Its smeared with 47 years of different paint. I will invest in an industrial vacuum cleaner for my scrapper and sander, tho. Thanks for the video :)
Wow man! Excellent job! I'm tryna do it without such a good stripper and it is really a nightmare 🫣🫠😅 I've applied a crap stripper and the previous two paints just became even more hard to remove 😢 any suggestion please? 🤠 🫶
Is there a difference between Total Boat paint remover and common variety available at big box home improvement stores? I need to remove Micron 66 on Catalina sailboat.
I have an 88 Bayliner. I took off ALl of the clear outside layer. I am down to the metal flake and color. Some areas it came off easy and some areas it didnt and is very rough. Will this take all that off as well and get me down to the fiberglass? I want to get it all smooth again so I can possibly vinyl wrap it. Thoughts?
It's always a pleasure to watch your videos. There are so many things we can do of which we thought was a tough job. Thanks for making it possible keep up the good work 👏

Jet wash or blast would be easier. Just jet washed mine took minutes rather than hours.

Very helpful appreciate you taking time to put this together.
Did the Total Strip remove any of the pre-existing Gel coat paint?
No but I would not leave it on too long. Follow instructions and you should be fine
