      Yeah is still gót mine Rtx 3070 and i absolutly loved the Dlaa looks amazing and dont háve hit on performance just mutch better than native look in game specially in cyberpunk, now i bough samé rx 7900gre as you using in game and i have to say its amazing but quality of image does my older Rtx 3070 better with dlaa cuz amd háve nothing Like that sadly im not using fsr or frame gen cuz cart háve enough muscles to push basicly any game 1440p highest settings well abowe 60 fps but in cyberpunk i noticed that i anable xess ultra quality and boom more fps and mutch meter Sharp image imagine IF the fsr háve something Like this build on in their fsr 3.0 or higher imagine carts would bé cheaper and better that woukd bé perfect. IF i have chance i to play native but there is chance to anable xess i allways try it out and allways the xess on ultra quality does looks better intel really pull that good. But i just wish that we could actually use any upscaler for any cart imagine turn on dlaa on amd cart dammnnnn 😂 that would bé insaine. Never the less this is mine second model of 7900gre cuz first one broke after 2 days of use it has some software problém and dont want to work at all with any drivers so i return cart and belive or not technican actually send me mail that cart was really faulty from factory, cart shoted for some reason well but yeahhh i recive another piece and all was good until than. Also that kind of grainy noise you saw in Alan wake you can actually see in ghost of th and also really bad in atomic heart i think its issue with AMD software big sad.

      @@eikbolha5883 Every 3D rendering engine runs some kind of denoising because original image is always noisy. The same visual noise is present on the 4070 SUPER. It's just a little bit better. But not by enough to call it a win.

As i said this is my first amd gpu and is huuuuuuuge upgrade over mine Rtx 3070 for sure but that DLAA im gonna miss that a lot. But at least i gót now frame generation and for mé that was main smelling point of this amd cart cuz i actually testing gigabyte Rtx 4070 super WINDFORCE and this rx 7900gre gaming oc and in raster was gre allways better in some games very small deference but still 16gb is better when it comes to future than 12gb but those upscalers are big game changer if they are made good you gót boost and better usual quality iiiii wish AMD will understand this some Day i wish they introduce something Like XEss ultra quality ot dlaa i wish cuz this 16gb VRAM háve enough power to hold good fps in all new games well expect dragon dogma hahah😂😂😂😂 but that game is mess😂

    7900 gre is faster in raw perfomance with higher power usage. 4070 s is better in RT obv. and has better upscaling. But personally I prefer to play at native res, on these type of cards.. I feel like i pay a lot of money and then to use upscaling tech to get fps, when they already should deliver that target fps (idk 60, 80 etc..). Both cards are good. When i bought my 7900 gre was only because of the lower price than the 4070 super which was about 100 euros here so yeah. I would say, you can't go wrong with any one of them. Pick the one which is cheaper but if you want RT 100% just go with 4070 s.

    • @xtremefest7901
      @xtremefest7901 10 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      For me I picked the super because you will eventually have to utilize upscaling on both gpus. And another major advantage at this price point and above is frame gen. There is no noticable latency with smooth fps. If I had to pick a gpu at a lower price point I'd always go with AMD because they are vastly better gpu with no competition from nvidia. They just need to focus on the FSR upscaler. Currently its bad compared to dlss.

    What people forget is that when you build a new rig, you should look at the TDP of the whole rig. In my case my new pc is 40w less than my previous pc was with a full new build and a way better gpu (3070 before and now 7900gre). In that case who cares about the higher power draw. At the end of the day you either want raw performance or you want ray tracing and dlss. I couldnt care less about dlss and ray tracing

      There are plenty of passionate devs who want more compute power to make prettier games with more awesome effects. And resolution upscaling unlocks that. But no one uses it by default. I got very lucky with my 4070 super. I have the highest factory OC I've seen out of the box on a 4070 super. It's sitting at over 2920 in game! Silicon lottery. I'm only gaurunteed the 2520 of coherent but most sit around 2600 to 2700. But 2900+? Out of the box when gaming? Yeah big W
    I've got to give amd credit though there frametime is fantastic. But when you use dlss on nvidia the framtime gets very low also another advantage of dlss 😉. Takes it from 20ms to 22ms down to 13ms to 14ms.
    Also since when did 4k gaming become only ultra lol. I'm getting over 60fps on every modern asa title in 4k high. I just think there isn't much that separates high and ultra when in 4k which has been proven. I remember when 4k gaming was just being able to use 4k. All of thede gpus 4070 and up are 4k capable and moat of us users with the super can game 4k flawlessly. It's actually exceeded my expectations so much. I almost game in 4k now more then 1440p well at least in single player titles or sim racing. All som racing titles which is mostly what I do. I use 4k it doesn't effect you much. You don't need 200fps for that lol in the most demanding sim title out on pc acc I'm getting 90fps on epic settings natively.
    These new modern aaa titles are so intensive it's crazy. Yet games from just 4 or 5 years ago when older cards could only do like 30fps now these cards are getting like 100+ fps in native 4k. But these new titles are insane. Everytime a gpu catches up a new game comes out thats more intensive.
    For me it's also crazy how newer games just don't feel as smooth even with high fps. They are just so taxing on everything. People get way to caught up with fps only and there are so many variables that can make even a high fps experience not smooth.

    in hellblade i oveclocked my 4070 same place hit 3/4 fps less of super model (without overclock are 8/10 same thing in alan wake 2).......i use dlss and frame gen without problems if I wanted a raster card i bought an amd card

    The 4070S is the better card, however I will probably pick the 7900 Gre because :
    - I want a GPU with a good and quiet cooler : The Sapphire Pure 7900 gre costs around 590€ in my country and the MSI Gaming x 4070S costs 715€. So a 125€ difference.
    - GPU temps are really good on the 7900Gre (55 degrees on average is crazy)
    - I use DLSS on my laptop with a 1440p screen and I consistently find it to be a blurry mess (i prefer playing at 1080p actually) but that may be something that i'm doing wrong seeing how much you can't notice the difference.
    - 12Go of VRAM is not an issue today for sure but I can't be sure that it will be the case in the future, especially since DLSS and FG use VRAM to run properly.
    With all that said, if the price of the 4070S drops to that of the 7900Gre, i'll buy the 4070S.

      About DLSS blurriness: do you adjust sharpness in games where you experience it? Usually there is a sharpness slider next to DLSS in menu. Try that if you haven't already. I usually use around 25% or 0.25 depending on the value type the slider uses. But I do tend to favour slightly softer image. I don't like it sharp as sharpness usually introduces various visual issues.

      It's a horrific bottleneck. Let me put it to you this way. The i5 13400f with the 4070super is a 30% bottleneck. So just imagine lol.
      I listened to the crowd going oh yeah i5 13400f will be fine for a 4070 super. Naw don't listen to any ody saying that. Sure great expereince at 1440p ultra at times and 4k but some cpu intensive games it's rough on even in 1440p which is where the 4070 super should shine. It was so bad at times it would introduce micro stutters. I am also very sensitive to any smoothness differences. I knek what something should feel or look like. So 1080p is almost out for Me. Inly saving grace is its Lowe resolution so eve if it's more cpu itnesive it's actually not as hard for the cpu to relieve and send the data as a cpu intensive game in 1440p is. So just depends lol.
      Peolle are down playing bottlenecks and thos generation proves it's no Bueno when you have that issue. Aka cpu limited and or bottlenecked.

    Ive got to say games have so many lines now and so much stuff going on that anti aliasing use has gotten crazy. Or i mean aliasing in general in games. Its funny the more graphically demanding a game is the more flaws that come into play take alan wake as an example. When I got back into pc gaming i was shocked by the graphics but I also noticed all of the flaes, jaggies, noise, aliasing etc. Shimmering etc. But god its all worth it at the end of the day haha. Some games have come so so far. But akot of people get into high end gaming and get a little bummed because they think something is wrong with there pc but I want those people to know its normal! Dont look for perfection. You wont find it just sit back and enjoy.
    Also im sry but on a single player game even on a 4070 super its worth using ray tracing and dlss. Just use balanced dlss and crank ray tracing up. Enjoy! Imo when you play games like that you dont need 100fps.
    Not to mention with my testing ive found some ganes feel better at a stable 60fps compared to 200fps. People get way way to caught up into the fps. Way to many other things that play part in a smooth experience. Tedt it out dont try paying attention to frames all the time and try seeing which settings feel best for you. It may surpise you! Lol

    • @theivadim
      @theivadim  12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Did you stop gaming when most games used MSAA and TAA wasn't a thing yet? That's what happened to me. And this video opened my eyes on the current state of Anti-aliasing tech and why we see so many visual imperfections in games - th-cam.com/video/WG8w9Yg5B3g/w-d-xo.htmlsi=stIf5SRFPin7Od42

    • @reviewforthetube6485
      @reviewforthetube6485 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @theivadim yeah that's exactly what happened and when I stopped.
      Anti aliasing is needed now so badly. But it makes sense aliasing will just get further worse the more lines and detaisl we get in games. So anti aliasing tricks will need to further advance. Without anti alising it's almost not tolerable.
      Do me a favor make a video on acc next. It's assetto corsa competitizione. That game will show yoy how bad aliasing has gotten. The shimmering, the jaggies the pop in and pop out all sorts of stuff. But it also shows you how good anti alising can work even if flaws still come through. But imo that's one of the best games to shoe how bad aliasing has gotten if you turn off anti aliasing.
      The biggest problem is now devs rely on this anti alissing instead of working on each piece and part. It's almost like a corner cutting technique. I wish they woupd go half and half where they used to build on each part and clean up certain areas but now it's all anti aliasing.

      100w of power isnt much in terms of money . Maybe you pay like 60$ more every year if you consistently play at 100% but that would still justify the fact that its cheaper. And in terms of dlss , amd is still improving fsr and the newer fsr3 has fixed a ton of bugs with graphics . In 3 years it will reach dlss quality so it doesnt matter much which you chose now .

    • @Nevvalth
      @Nevvalth 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      100w more for a GPU is insignificant. You'll still be better of with an AMD GPU beacause it's cheaper and it covers the extra electricity costs + you get more VRAM so you can keep that GPU for 1-2 more years than crappy 4070 with 12GB of VRAM in 2024

    The crappiest RTX 4070 Super vs an actual decent 7900 GRE. I know there isn't a whole lot of difference between models. I just hate the Msi Ventus design. It looks awful in my opinion. If it at least looked cool I would consider it. I tell myself once it's in the PC it won't matter how it looks. Once I see how well it games I'll be fine with it. And then I look through the glass side panel and can't stand what I'm looking at. PC gaming hardware is one of my favorite hobbies and I'm passionate about it. If you think you can get away with something you don't really like in this area of your life just stop. You can't do it. I don't mean PC gaming in general I mean in an area of your life that you're passionate about. If you sell yourself short on something you love you'll be sad. You won't be happy. I tried going to AMD and getting an RX 7700 XT and I wanted to be happy with it but I just couldn't. I had to get an Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti Super. Got the Tuf Asus OC model. I know Asus is bad now but I actually like their cards.
