believe me or not I was fooled to get a GPU with 16GB vram such as 4080 at that time and turns out it is way too much for 1440p gaming not just cuz of performance but even with Vram cuz all you need is 12GB for almost everything for 1440p and even 8GB is generally good enough as I used to game 1440p on 2070 super and it perfectly worked but kinda struggled with RT on. 6800 xt for 400-450 budget on newegg
I use a 7600 which is no where near as good as a 7800xt and haven’t come across a game I can’t play in the 1440p without some graphical adjustments
NVIDIA is the best, u can do everything with that. even i have GTX 1660ti i can get over 200 fps on CS2 with 1440p
Fun fact : the RTX 4070 ti super is actually the true RTX 4070 but priced higher instead of $500 it's $800
Many people have said the 4070 ti super is what the 4080 should have been originally. I just upgraded from the 3070 to the 4070 ti super and it’s amazing and was definitely worth the money
What about the 7900xt? Doesn't it compete with the 4070 ti super just 100 dollars cheaper and 20gb of vram?
It’s more for 4k
@@gpccw But wouldn't the 4070 ti super also be 4k then? Plus they aren't worth it to play 4k imo cus they get 60 fps in most games vs the hundreds in 1440p
@@gpccwnah not really omp ok 4k for triple A But other games no
In some games ray tracing + DLSS gets you same frame rate performance as the AMD card running native + no rt. But Nvidia visuals will be much better.
Anything 4070 SUPER or more powerful is a 4K card
7800xt is a low end 1440p budget card lmao
What is with the 4070 Super OC?
Who uses 1440p I use 720 or 420p
6750xt seems like a decent gpu for what I need it for anyway and Im trying to build a budget pc anyways
I have this and very good card for me on 1440 !
i got 7900xtx for 1440p no regret got high fps
It’s a 4k card why wasting at 1440p?
@@schweiserschweiser3397 its not wasted if he has high refresh rate
450? Where...where?
I bought 7900GRE Pulse and its ok
What for 1080 ultra wide? 7700xt?
a 6800 is 360 dollars new on US amazon rn if anyone is interested
Well.. I think the 4090 would be the literal BEST for 1440p..
Says 7800xt is budget?
7900 gre consumes a lot of electricity tho
7700xt is also great
For 1440p i would say an Rx 7900 xt is good but techincally the Rtx 4090 is the best
I'm doing 4k just fine with 4070ti
Rx 7700 xt?
More like 1080p
@@Nazwatonazwa nah check ztt benchmarks
@@Nazwatonazwa lmao
Im using 3060. Getting 150 fps on warzone. (1440p) on ultra settings. (epic is highest)
You can’t be dude, I was using a 3070 a few weeks ago before upgrading and was getting 135fps on 1440p on rebirth island. I’m curious tho, what other settings are you using
@@Billy-Allen Honestly just that? If it helps i have overclocked it as much as possible. Rebirth island struggles for some reason and max i can get is like 130-140. But other maps i can hit 150 fine. And honestly im just on epic settings and my dlss is on highest performance setting so that might be the issue. Also using shaders.
6900xt?
RX 6800, RX 6800 XT, or RX 7900 GRE.
believe me or not I was fooled to get a GPU with 16GB vram such as 4080 at that time and turns out it is way too much for 1440p gaming not just cuz of performance but even with Vram cuz all you need is 12GB for almost everything for 1440p
and even 8GB is generally good enough as I used to game 1440p on 2070 super and it perfectly worked but kinda struggled with RT on. So no need for 16GB vram gpu just get either RTX 4070 any versions if going Nvidia and using ray tracing with DLSS OR get RX 7800XT or RX 6800XT if you want FPS only and don't care about RT. And if you are on limited budget and want cheaper and dont care about RT feature then go for 10 series like GTX 1080 or 1080 ti or at least 2070 super or beyond if 20 series for 1440p. AND yes don't forget to compare prices if for example you find a powerful 16GB Vram gpu equal to or very close to 12GB Vram GPU then go for 16GB GPU cuz after all money comes first.
7900 GRE ^^
Overclocking + Smart access memeory on the 7900 gre can make it on p[retty much equal the 7900xt and 4070 ti super in pure rasterization in many games (and better/worse than the ti super in certain games). And it wont run as hot or drtaw as much power as the 7900xt
well i overclock my ti super too, +200 on the core and +2000 on the vram…
@@michagysin3082 +2000 on the vram??? U sure u dont mean +200? And yes I know, but some people don't need the performance of a 4070 ti super with overclock so if u can match it when its not overclocked with a card that's 150 dollars cheaper that's a good deal
@@Ash-uf4fv yes, i have it on +2000mhz on the vram, it seems like i won the chip lottery, as there are no game crashes or artifacts.
The 4070Ti Super can play almost every game in 4k high to max...
It definitely can handle it. But i stick with 1440p with my 4070ti. I recently got a 1440p 240hz oled so i try to saturate it in games that can reach those frames. Mainly fps games
@Bdot888 I play mostly AAA titles, (Forza Horizon 5, Halo Infinite) and less demanding games like FF7 Remake, and Guilty Gear Strive.
The only games I play on it that I can't push to 4k max are Starfield and Forza Motorsport (8).
I'll be getting a 144Hz, 4k, 32" 1500R curved monitor from MSI soon also.
Many of my favorite games will get up to 120fps or more in 4k, and contrary to popular belief, you can use a 4k monitor @ 2k, and it looks just fine unless you sit with your face 6" from the screen.
7800XT =D
Save my money longer, keep using my GTX 1080ti
AMD 7900 Gre 😍😍😍
What about rx 7900 xt?
