As a high school student looking for a better tablet for educational purposes and for financial use, I usually lead more into Samsung tablets because of the addition of the pen included in the price. After watching this video, now I'm questioning myself as to which Samsung tablet would be best. You clearly go into detail of both S7 and S7+. 👀
@@_.Luji._ I bought the s7+ in india but the tablet had a rotation issue where the screen wouldn't rotate so I took it to Samsung service centre and they declared it a dead on arrival product and I am currently waiting for a replacement or a refund EDIT: The product was replaced and a new tab was given to me in 3 days excellent service by Samsung
These are my top 2 choices for my first tablet,along with the s6. I'm torn as I prefer the fingerprint sensor on the side and away from the screen. Ihave it on my note 10 plus and don't really like screen sensors. The plus version also seems too big and clearly isn't portable, but the one thing that stops me from getting the base model, is that it's resolution and screen won't be as vivid as the plus.
The reason companies make similar versions good better best is so consumers decide 'WHICH' they are going to buy, and forget about 'IF' they are going to buy. Please don't buy any products if you don't have the financial ability to, there are millions of people in debt because of clever marketing tactics. Use your two feet if you feel like buying something, just walk away and sleep on it chances are it will be there in the morning.
I've had both and I found that the regular Tab S7 had much better battery life than the S7 Plus. Wasn't expecting that, but the regular S7 has adaptive refresh rate while the Plus model is locked at 120hz (when selected). So while the Plus model has a larger battery and an amoled screen, the battery life isn't as good as one would expect.
Yeah but put your S7 on variable refresh rate and go into f Developer options and check an option to see on the screen what the refresh rate is at it changes. It barely switches lower than 120hz. If so, it would be negligible battery difference if always on 120hz. What companies tell you and what you experience in real life is not always the same
I have had the refresh shown in developer options and it drops to 60 quite a bit within a few seconds when not scrolling. So it still makes a difference in terms of battery. I've had both and have seen the difference first hand. But hey, that's just me.

Only way you can tell for sure is have two identical tablets with identical usage and setting one to 120hz and one to variable refresh. So all of this is subjective at best
I purchased the Samsung 7 today and the bronze version to be exact. I really hate tablets that appear to be too big and only like tablets with 10 inch screens so that's why I decided to go with the Samsung S7 tablet. 12.4 inch screens are too big for me and the Samsung S7 is more durable. You can stick it in your bag and go about your business.
Basically S7 for students/casual users S7+ Professionals/Graphic designers etc. as a student and someone who looks for a tablet i go with S7 because its more portable and affordable one because all im gonna do with that tablet is use it at school for 8hours and do some homeworks and take notes. i dont need super amoled display since im not goingto use photoshop or graphic design on it.
I'm hoping I get the S7 for Christmas (But of course, i'm happy with whatever I get) due to it being more portable, I can still practice digital art and such, without needing a 12 inch screen. Edit: changed my mind, not gonna ask for anything so my brothers can get more and I can get something cheaper
love my s7, I don't mind the non-amoled display cos the display still looks good. The battery is great too mine lasts almost a full day without charging. I put a tempered glass screen protector on it and it's a bit slippery but it's so smooth when I take notes. No regrets buying it 💕

I'm starting to getting obssessed with consuming less info and just get what i need fast. You didn't mention the additional cost to purchase the keyboard. Aren't they going for a bit over $200 for the latest versions? I bought a renewed one for my S7 on Amazon for $85 and it works great.

I really enjoy my tab S7 but my only complain in gaming is that resolution scale is awful in some games, probably because they are not optimized for such a big screen. As i said, some games, looks pixelated because of internal resolution

Was disappointed with the storage, and also how even with a mircoSD card. It still is limiting add to the fact that you can't move apps to the SD card. get the tabS7+ i use it for nutrition studies and you can do much more than ipad pro. apple is just fashion and no memory upgrade. i stopped carring my laptop with this because of dex-mode is a beast.
You cant really use something other than the s pen(however older s pens from different tablets or phones can work because of (I think its wacom technology or soemthing I forgot tbh) (which is why using the s pen on a phone that doesnt have the technology worn work). Thw pen comes with the tablet if that's why you're asking, not like the apple pencil 😁

As someone who currently has a 9.7 iPad 5th gen from a few years ago, I’m really unclear of which tab on the android side to move to. Just want something with great battery life and solid Dex performance that wont break the bank. Hopefully some good Memorial Day sales come along for stuff in the s7 or s8 line.
i came from ipad pro 2018 got Samsung tabS7+ never looking back. mine is silver 256gigs with micro-sd 256samsung. wen tabS8+ comes out ill get it and give mine to my mom she has a asus tablet super slow 7yrs old. yea but ipads apple never dose are for little kidz.
I own the Tab S7 Plus. It has a lot of the Note 20 Ultra Features but 2 very important things are missing. The Always On Display and Galaxy Theme Store. It's perfect for watching TH-cam Videos and Amazon Prime videos and I love the 4 loud stereo speakers. Sammy needs to add 4 speakers to their phones. The amoled is very beautiful on the tab. I've sinced upgraded my Tab S7 Plus to One UI 3.1.

Is the tab s7+ still a good buy, or should we wait for the S8 to come out in a couple months? From what I'm seeing, it doesn't look like the S8 is going to be much of an upgrade other than SoC. Decisions.
My breaking point when I had to choose the s7 or s7+ was the screen, the s7 has an ips while the s7+ has an Soled, I picked the s7 mainly for the screen and only one reason, old screen are much easier to get in screen burn than an ips, as I play alot in my tablet I knew already I would burn the screen while the s7 would take much longer to burn the screen. I already burn my galaxy s8 back then and I don't want to go through that again.
Watch Teoh Yi Chie comparison of tab s7+ vs iPad Pro artist review esp the display. The problem is not burn ins...but tints and color degradation in a year...true black for amoleds but not true in all other colors due to poor image processing and they cant be calibrated to be color accurate in android...only calibrate color but never will be the right colors. Only iPads bring what creators's intended for media consumption...and also the prints are same as iPad screen. Android tablet image processing and screen color accuracy...nevermind
I bought the TabS7 and I have it for 3 Years. Then I bought the TabS7+ You really notice the difference, the performance, the display and general differences. I think it's worth upgrading
You did not touch on connectivity. Are they both WiFi only? Can I hook up some type of external dongle/unit for cellular service so I dont have to use HotSpot?
i have the original first tablet of samsung, the tab s 10.5 wifi. it is beginning to runout of breath and juice and have just been utilizing it for browsing. it is still a great looking tablet. but its time is sadly up and am seriously choosing bet the tab s7 and the tab s8. perhaps you can help me choose the better one? thanx man. great comparo as always.
Hi Boss, does your table heat up at the home button area? Like i was just using it for watching a TH-cam video.. no other app was running, 60hz setting, on dark mode, brightness at mid. 🤷🏻♀️ Is it just because, it's at its learning phase? Learning my pattern of usage? Just had it for about 2 weeks?

I own the Tab S7 Plus and it takes fantastic photos of great detail and colour. I picked up a used one from Amazon and would not part with it for anything else.

@@manm5302 Depends on what your playing if its a moba the buttons are reachable. I have a case on my tab so I just open the kick stand and use that for support if I don't use it without it it's too big and gets uncomfortable after carrying it

How different is the screen reflection/glare between those?
Base model S7 for $280 or S7+ for $330?
For $50 more, I can get all the extra benefits from the S7+.... I’m torn...
Why doesn't anyone show viewing angles and how it fares in outside sunlight, I spend a lot of time viewing content outside and would like to see that before dropping so much coin on one of these.
Brad Colbow showed viewing angles in his Samsung S7 FE review video (he used s7+ as a comparison so)

As someone who currently has a 9.7 iPad 5th gen from a few years ago, I’m really unclear of which tab on the android side to move to. Just want something with great battery life and solid Dex performance that wont break the bank. Hopefully some good Memorial Day sales come along for stuff in the s7 or s8 line.
i came from ipad pro 2018 got Samsung tabS7+ never looking back. mine is silver 256gigs with micro-sd 256samsung. wen tabS8+ comes out ill get it and give mine to my mom she has a asus tablet super slow 7yrs old. yea but ipads apple never dose are for little kidz.
I own the Tab S7 Plus. It has a lot of the Note 20 Ultra Features but 2 very important things are missing. The Always On Display and Galaxy Theme Store. It's perfect for watching TH-cam Videos and Amazon Prime videos and I love the 4 loud stereo speakers. Sammy needs to add 4 speakers to their phones. The amoled is very beautiful on the tab. I've sinced upgraded my Tab S7 Plus to One UI 3.1.
Do you face heating on bottom side of display. Near keyboard dock?

Samsung needs to improve the keyboard cover. That doesn’t have any prrotection

Is the tab s7+ still a good buy, or should we wait for the S8 to come out in a couple months? From what I'm seeing, it doesn't look like the S8 is going to be much of an upgrade other than SoC. Decisions.

How do they compare?
Comparing to the price of iPad Pro M1 S7+ is very cheap and a great opponent. I'll choose S7 for my casual things and S7+ for productivity.
My breaking point when I had to choose the s7 or s7+ was the screen, the s7 has an ips while the s7+ has an Soled, I picked the s7 mainly for the screen and only one reason, old screen are much easier to get in screen burn than an ips, as I play alot in my tablet I knew already I would burn the screen while the s7 would take much longer to burn the screen.
I already burn my galaxy s8 back then and I don't want to go through that again.
I finally bought the S7+.
But now i am scared about the Super AMOLED screen burn over time.
Screen burn is a rare case, higher chance only if you blast the brightness all the way up for a long time
Watch Teoh Yi Chie comparison of tab s7+ vs iPad Pro artist review esp the display. The problem is not burn ins...but tints and color degradation in a year...true black for amoleds but not true in all other colors due to poor image processing and they cant be calibrated to be color accurate in android...only calibrate color but never will be the right colors. Only iPads bring what creators's intended for media consumption...and also the prints are same as iPad screen. Android tablet image processing and screen color accuracy...nevermind
Yep I got screen burn on my tab s6 after only 8 months. It's depressing every time I look at it.

You did not touch on connectivity. Are they both WiFi only? Can I hook up some type of external dongle/unit for cellular service so I dont have to use HotSpot?

i have the original first tablet of samsung, the tab s 10.5 wifi. it is beginning to runout of breath and juice and have just been utilizing it for browsing. it is still a great looking tablet. but its time is sadly up and am seriously choosing bet the tab s7 and the tab s8. perhaps you can help me choose the better one? thanx man.

Hi Boss, does your table heat up at the home button area? Like i was just using it for watching a TH-cam video.. no other app was running, 60hz setting, on dark mode, brightness at mid. 🤷🏻♀️

@@linarizk6633 i did bough the 11 inch its pretty good, its smaller than 12,4 inch but its enough, i can bring everywhere but if you need bigger screen and portability doesnt bother you i recommand the 12,4 inch its better for highlighting text etc, and many more task

Hm.. i was wondering if we could add ram externally? I want the tablet to watch lectures/ highlights textbooks. But 8gb ram is must. I know Samsung gets slower after 1-2 years.

I own the Tab S7 Plus and it takes fantastic photos of great detail and colour. I picked up a used one from Amazon and would not part with it for anything else.

@@manm5302 Depends on what your playing if its a moba the buttons are reachable. I have a case on my tab so I just open the kick stand and use that for support if I don't use it without it it's too big and gets uncomfortable after carrying it

I own an iPad Air 2 and am considering which one to get. Tab s7 or 7+. I know the tab s8 might come out soon but the tab s7 is on sale now. I bought this iPad Air 2 while I owned an iPhone and have since bought a Samsung phone and will not be buying anymore apple products.
in your video the smaller one seems brighter than the greater one, am I right? I know super amoled should be better than TFT but that is not what I saw in the video, if am I wrong please correct me so I don't buy the wrong one.

Just bought my with a the Keyboard for 530 €. Would have bought it for the Price alone but with the Keyboard, it was a nobrainer. And scince the iPad Air 4 (from your Reviews i think it is the better Tablet) are only available in mid to end of january, there was Not much competition.
