Im from indonesia immigrated to Germany. Doing double degree (well apprenticeship in hotel management here in Germany and doing bachelor degree in business administration online). I really need a tablet for supporting my study , but can’t afford one rn😅😅 coz both tablets cost like 429 € each.
S9 FE has expandable storage, higher refresh rate, better display, better sound quality, better storage options, more ram, included pen, dex mode, IP68, and more versatility in OS. In my opinion, this makes the Tab S9 FE a better option. The iPad is superior in processing power, but you either don't have the features in the Tab or need to pay a lot more to have them. A strong point for the iPad, though, is longer software support. If you play a lot of games or are a very heavy user, go for iPad, but Tab S9 FE offers a lot more overall.
I have the Samsung tab s9 FE and ipad 10, they both are great but in all honesty ipad is way better for gaming while the Samsung tab s9 FE is better for software editing and work, i recommend going with the samsung tab s9 FE as it's cheaper, has more value and better speed rates and can game well, if you're planning to buy a tablet go with the samsung tab S9, it struggled with games because the version i brought is a no sim one. Buy the one with a sim although it's 100 pounds expensive it's way better as the speed is unmatched.

Guys my ipad 2 bought 2011 or 2012 is still working. It doesn't get updates anymore but dang that shows how sturdy those things are despite me dropping it a thousand times or more during its lifetime. I can still use it as a form of ereader and play old games. I think tech nowadays gets obsolete real quick so just buy what is in the budget and does the job.
@@NiSE_Rafter my games are pretty basic (candy crush, wordle etc). I don't think can do games like temple run and subway surfer anymore 🤣. I had to free up some memory because I only have the 64GB one. After I did that, the speed improved a litte.
I’m a big fan of DeX. However, I only use it very occasionally on my phone. I’m a Samsung/Android fan, but Samsung can’t compete with Apple with $300ish entry level iPads, so I got an iPad 9th gen. If Samsung was able to close the gap, I’d love a tablet that I can use Dex on natively. Also, why did Samsung remove USB-C external display connectivity on the S9 FE that was included on the S7 FE, pretty lame.
Even though the Samsung screen is laminated, Samsung's screens are cheaper to repair. Official factory replacement costs: Samsung: € 169,- and Apple: €255,-.

I wasn't a fan of the iPad 10 when it first released, but I had a change of heart a few months ago and purchased a refurbished base model, and I've been really happy with it. I use it primarily for content consumption, no pen or keyboard, and I'm really impressed with the performance, screen and sound.
I got the S9 FE in the UK for £449. I found the same price at several retailers, but John Lewis were including a set of ear buds that they normally sell at £99.

This is a useful comparison video. I've had my feet in both iPad and Samsung camps for several years now. I currently have a 2018 iPad 6. I take this to work. I also have a 2022 11inch iPad Pro, but it rarely leaves the house. This supplements my MacBook Air. I have an old Samsung A7...Still works well. I also have a Galaxy Tab A7 lite. However, I'm looking for a replacement for my 2018 iPad, and I like the look and form of the FE. The expandable memory is a deal breaker for me.
@GEN_Z_shots my iPad 6 (2018) has been my workhorse since I bought it. I take it to work with me. It's a solid, reliable tablet. My iPad Pro compliments my M1 MacBook Air. I bought the Tab S9FE to replace my 2018 iPad. I would say that the FE sits between my old iPad and iPad Pro in terms of functionality. Having said that, the S Pen is so much useful that my expensive Apple pencil.
I had the iPad and returned it after 1 day. The very limited storage is a major deficiency and the low refresh non-laminated screen is too much reflective and slow. I bough the S9 FE and is so much better that I can reccomend it x10 times over the iPad
Really? I saw both side by side at a store today and the S9 FE's display had too much green hue and did the typical LCD brightness shift. While I must say the 90Hz is way nicer and the S9 looked a little brighter too. I'm usually a Samsung/Android customer but the iPad does much better imo. I only need it for note taking and schoolwork so storage isn't a big issue for me.
In Brazil, the s9fe costs around 2500 reais (515.20 dollars) and the 64GB iPad 10 costs 3300 reais (680.06 dollars), which is a very complicated thing because the minimum wage is 1,302 reais (268.32 ) monthly
After 2 hours ownership I took it back. Samsung 9s FE was not capable of connecting an external monitor. For a Zwift rider connecting via C to HDMI to a 32 inch monitor, this was a deal breaker. Bought an I-Pad air.
What I care about S9 FE that it has 90hz display, included s pen, better UI and multitasking, and for me I'm an Android/Windows user. iPad 10 is better in terms of raw power and longevity, so it is a little confusing which option is better, but the 60hz is a deal breaker for me. If S9 FE had a better chip it would be a very easy choice.

@@any8574 I don't think S9 FE will last that long, and ipad 10 isn't much good for note-taking, so I think you should go for the standard tab S9 or ipad air (or pro if you can afford it), the iPad should last longer, but samsung has better multitasking and some other features (oled display and 120hz comparing to the air), so it is your choice If you want it for about like 4 years the S9 should be fine
@@any8574Ipad will literally last you years with that processor and apple's software support. Samsung will really slow down over the years due it's weak processor and lack of optimization
The thing with ipads is their high price, here in Chile, you could get a galaxy tab s9 plus for the same price as the ipad 10 256 gb with pen... I chose Samsung bc it's more versatile and they're offering years of software support, not as much as apple but still, years are enough
I'm watching this with my tab s9 fe 6/256. The only thing I hate is that this tab is lagging often even when switching between apps and opening settings. It's because they put exynos rather than snapdragon.
That’s the only thing I hate about this device. I’d choose the Samsung any day over and iPad IF IT HAD THE POWER. Like cmon. A snapdragon chip would make this a better buy.

You made the right choice Sir. It doesn't make sense to pay that price for 64 GB storage which isn't expandable and will get full within a couple of months. In 2024 selling 64Gb in base models is very much like a daylight Robery. It's very unfortunate to see that Apple gets away with these malpractices because of their "common sense deprived" fans.

I'm from Poland and here the iPad 10th gen costs about 2 299PLN with 64gb storage and the Galaxy Tab s9 fe cost about 2 399PLN with 128gb storage (I couldn't find 64gb one), but i think it's important to say that Samsung tab has the S pen included in the package (iPad not) and it's the main reason why I would buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab s9 fe ;) By the way, thanks for such enjoyable comparison
I have Samsung S9FE and i can recommend it ;)) Samsung has really nice app for doing notes "samsung notes" and i am using it all the time. Battery stays long. Also it has really nice speakers. Quality of sound is high. @@FARISALRUWAILI-ej1rx

64 gig isn’t enough. You anyone feels like this isn’t enough. You’re right it isn’t enough and don’t say “I can work it out”. You’re basically saying you want to spend an extra hundred bucks (trust me I know it since you’ll buy the case, maybe a pencil to /and or a keyboard). Just don’t with any iPad with 64gig. Ordering the s9 fe from Amazon Canada for $479. 128gb storage. Unfortunately ipad 10 is $499 with just 64gb storage and they have the audacity to make you pay $699 to upgrade storage.
I can't choose its hard for me as i a student looking for a tablet to use for taking notes and pdf. Im looking it in a loong run investment about 3-4 yrs. The s9fe offers amazing feature and flexible storage not like ipad but as the s9fe has a lower cpu they say in a long run ipad is much better. 🤷♀️
I will go with the s9fe. Its more than enough if you dont plan on playing games like pubg etc its more than capable enough to work for a couple years with note taking and all of that. Besides that. Keep in mind that you safe and 100€ for the pen. Considering that and if you sell it. Youre most likely around 50-60% on the way to a newer model when you do plan on editing and stuff like that. I doubt that you will need it
I have been using tab s9 fe for 3 weeks. If you are going to use the tablet for lectures and taking notes, the experience of taking notes with S pen is 10/10. I also tried my friends' ipad and huawei matepad. You have to buy pen 70$ I didn't like the pen feel of them 5/10. S pen is the top. However, in terms of processor power, Tab S9 Fe is 6.5/10. My suggestion to you is to buy Tab S9 compared to Tab S9 Fe.

watching this from brazil, here are some of the retail prices for ipad 10th gen: 3000brl at the lowest and 5000brl on most stores. And the s9 fe goes from 2500 brl to about 3300 brl. You could absolutely get a killer deal on both depending on the model available
My Tab S9 FE arrived today...wow! It's a real upgrade on my 2018 iPad, that's for sure. I like the S pen. So far, so good. I won't be pushing this tablet to its limit. However, it perfectly supplements my other gadgets.

It’s a difficult comparison. iPad performs so strong now and for years to come. It’s just so limited. With tab S9 FE you get so much more done apart from gaming, but the processing power isn’t that great now. After 2-3 years it might be quite horrible. I’d choose iPad 9 instead of either of these, unless I’d really need to use the pen 😅

I live in Italy and this tablet cost 500€ while the S9fe+ costs 600€ but before it was 700€, the iPad cost 400€ for the 64GB storage and the 128GB cost 600€.
Tab S9 FE 256gb in Mexico is for sale at $325, it includes the pen and the case, the iPad 64gb is $399.95, it includes nothing. The tab s9 fe 256gb is cheaper than the 128gb.
Not a fan of apple software Got S9FE at 380$ base model with 128gb storage , mainly for note taking and casual gaming Has free S pen which works forever without any charge Insane multitasking features , great display and microSD card support. For comparison , iPad 10th gen base model was 480$ which had like 64gb storage only , no Expendable , and Apple pencil needs to purchased separately and even apple pencil alternative costs like 25$ so total would have been 500$. If you really want IPad for similar price , iPad 9th Gen 256gb variant was available for same price as 10th gen base model.
I'm from Mexico and got a refurbished Tab S9 FE+ 12/256gb for around $6600mxn (about $330 usd). The only difference was the box being slightly damaged but the device looked perfectly fine surprisingly, no aesthetical damages whatsoever. And it also came with the book case as well which is a big bonus for me. Am I cooked?
Hi! I'm about to purchase a tablet for university. I study chemical engineering and planning on using it mostly for note-taking, videos and homework making. I have friends that state that Ipads are much better but also that the apps for it are a little limitated and for note taking i might have to purchase apps too. They say that samsung tablets are not as powerful so im really confused on my election, mostly because both look really similar to me and im scared on making the wrong choice. My phone is a motorola so i have no preferal for either brand. Please, could you help me choose?
Depends on your use, the iPad may have a much better chip but the Tab a9+ has 90hz, expandable storage, the screen is great even though some may say it isn't and Samsung's Oneui is far more superior in my opinion. I owned an iPad 8 since its launch and the storage and os limitation is frustrating, but the Tab a9+ is cheap and very smooth even due to its chip.
Since I'm not planning to play game on a tablet (just art) I really think the Galaxy Tab S9 FE is a way better deal (especially when apple fazes out their products super quickly...)

I am from Malaysia. I was considering a lot before getting a tablet (because this is my first tablet and I want it to be worth the value). I was considering iPad 10th gen 256GB storage and Samsung S9 FE with storage of 256GB. The price for the iPad is RM2.4k and samsung s9 FE is around RM1.8k. However the iPad doesn't come with a stylus pen, which I need to spend another RM500-RM600, which I can get samsung s9 FE+ which include with a stylus pen and the RAM is 12GB for 256GB storage. In the end, I chose Samsung tablet over iPad

@@fizaasat Hi. I think it should be able to do all those basic office tasks. But if you want better experience, you should go with S9 or S9+. Since I am using for online reading, story writing and learning how to draw digitally, s9 FE should work just fine 🙂 samsung tablets may have higher price compare to other China brand tablets e.g. the OPPO, Honor etc, probably those China brands have better specs than Samsung tabs at cheaper price. 😀 I am actually a fan of Samsung products for years, so it's easier to sync this tab with other samsung device
Trade in should be considered as well. I just got a tab s9 fe 256bg for $196 that included tax. When you factor in how much the 256gb iPad will cost plus the cost of the pen is it still worth it?
I’m still happy for my iPad 9th Gen still good and zippy for the next 2-3 years, although I will purchase an iPad 10 for my daughter as a Christmas gift for her college use. All good 😊
I’m in the market for a secondary tablet to use for media consumption and Kindle reading. Right now I have the Tab S7 FE, but it’s way too big and I want a more portable tablet (especially since the tablet is gonna come with me on holidays). I’m torn between the **Galaxy Tab S9 FE, the iPad 10 and the iPad Mini 6,** all the closest ones to fit my needs….and all with very similar specs, hence why it’s hard to choose. So, which one should I get?
@@faccezitCroc The Galaxy Tab S9 FE is exactly the one I chose -- while I prefer iPadOS over One UI (and the iPad 10 has the same screen size of the Tab S9 FE), the iPad 10 and iPad Mini would stretch my budget quite a bit....plus with the Tab S9 FE copying/transferring files will be seamless....and the tablet being on sale on my local Amazon doesn't hurt either. I'll likely purchase my Tab S9 FE this week-end.

I’ve already decided I’m done with tablets (I return my iPad mini 6 like this week, and trust me I already know what you need to know.) and while i find tablets fitting for my budget and maybe future I don’t see a tablet as a need but more of a cool spec. If I do end of getting a tablet it’s going to be the Tab S9 FE. Bc it does everything I need to. And I find the water resistant fitting. Trust me you wouldn’t have find the iPad mini 6 WORTH IT.
@@faccezitCroc I would, and I did - I used to have an iPad Mini 6. I sold because the screen was too small to really enjoy media (it was absolutely PERFECT for reading ebooks though), which is more of a personal taste, but other than that the Mini 6 was and IS TOP-NOTCH.

I prefer the Samsung model, is better; more storage, size, S pen included, sound quality, etc. I study music too and I have the S7 FE model and It's great, actually in Samsung notes there's an option to write in staff music template
Price info from finland: tab s9fe 128gb model is 580€ and ipad 10 64gb model is 600€ (800€ if you want the 256gb model of the ipad at which point you should just pay 900€ and get the base model tab s8. Samsung is the obvious choice here.

iPad 10 is 2-3x more powerful , better cameras, a 4:3 ratio screen which is better for everything apart from videos, video output to another screen via HDMi and slightly higher resolution, more premium build quality. Apple has software support for longer than Samsung. The tab S9 fe has 16.10 screen which better for video, ip68 dust and water resistance, higher storage which is expandable, pencil included which doesn’t need charging, slight better speakers and the screen is laminated So there are pros and cons to each tablet, but both are very good. It’s not a matter of one being vastly inferior or superior.
In Spain, right now: S9 FE (6Gb + 128Gb + Wifi): 449€ (on sale in amazon) -- Ipad 10 (64Gb + Wifi): 435€ (on sale in Amazon too), but the 256Gb version is 634€... It's a big difference. 😐
If only I could afford an iPad 😭 I definitely will be going with the Samsung option. I’ve been trying to find good quality tablets to try digital art on, but it’s been so hard to find ones that are affordable!
Can't recommend the Tab S9 FE. Uprading from the 6th generation iPad, I bought the S9 FE and had to exchange it for another brand new one a week later. The Wifi would disconnected every 15 minutes or so and I could never get higher than a 360p resolution on TH-cam (which I use tablets as an alternative to having a TV). The fingerprint scanner rarely worked, either. The new one works only slightly better. Wifi still dropping, but not as often. Still can't get higher than a 480p resolution onTH-cam, either app or web-based. I really want to like this tablet. I love the S Pen, One UI 6 layout, but it's being way outperformed by my 6th gen entry-level iPad and 8 year old ThinkPad. As much as I want to leave Apple, I may trade this in for a 256gb iPad 10. Even typing this was really clunky and laggy.

I think the s9 fe might be a better pick considering your requirements. The s pen does not need to be charged for note taking so you dont need to think about charging one additional device. It has a better aspect ratio for watching movies and has dex support for multitasking as well. Also you get the s pen in the box which you don't on an ipad and the s9 fe has better base storage option with the advantage of an sd card expansion. In my opinion, as long as you don't plan on gaming on your device, the s9fe is a much better deal and will cost you cheaper generally

Galaxy tab s9 FE is our choice. I just return my iPad mini 6. And I know this isn’t the same but I also do drawings. And just it’s not worth buying an extra expensive pen for the apple device. At that point get the iPad Air for refurbished. If your looking between the Tab s9 FE or IPad 10. Get the Tab s9 FE. Dex and SD card will give more advantages to a more pc feel as well. And the tab s9 FE will last long. And there is good drawing apps on android if your concern. I use IBIS paint for all my drawings. And photos can are seamless on android especially if you have an android phone.

Im using the samsujg tab a7 from the past 2.5 years it does have performance issues but serves my purpose of web browsing and watching youtube. It just cant run games but has a laminated display which is a really good display tbh

How about the screen sharinig/ presentation capabilities? I have tried over wifi but it is too laggy. Since as you said, you cannot use Usb-C as an output, what other reliable options are there?
If you just want to consume data on the bigger screen and want to use the device for 4-5 years then just go for Ipad, Androids and Windows will also last that long but you have to face massive degradation of performance after 2 years
I really wish Samsung would take notes from Apple and use Last gen Flagship chipsets rather than gimped mid range chipsets which act as a heavy bottleneck imo.

I've been contemplating on this one, but buing an iPad doesnt include an Apple pen, so thats another 100 to $120 bucks on you depending on your region, on the other hand, buying an S9 FE would have you a free Spen inside the box, and as of writing, theres also a free keyboard along upon delivery.. which apple would also have you shell out another $200, I do hate comparing these devices on gaming performances, theres a ton of people out there where literally dont use their devices for gaming, but yeah, aside from the items that I just said.. that 64gb base model of the iPad actually bears you some more archaic questions "WHY?" at this day and age, putting a 64gb on an non-expandable storage device would just force you to subscribe to iCloud, trust me, i know, I own an M1 MBA 256gb base model, and an iPhone 13 Pro, just bought my wife a base model iPhone 15 few months back and this is the reason im looking for reviews for these two, diving in full apple ecosystem basically means shelling out for their services for the long run.. SPEN performance is on par with apple pencil, unlike apple pencil, tempered glass protector won't effect the performance of S-pen. If you lost the pen, S-pen is cheaper to replace.

S9 FE has expandable storage, higher refresh rate, better display, better sound quality, better storage options, more ram, included pen, dex mode, IP68, and more versatility in OS. In my opinion, this makes the Tab S9 FE a better option. The iPad is superior in processing power, but you either don't have the features in the Tab or need to pay a lot more to have them. A strong point for the iPad, though, is longer software support. If you play a lot of games or are a very heavy user, go for iPad, but Tab S9 FE offers a lot more overall.

I have the Samsung tab s9 FE and ipad 10, they both are great but in all honesty ipad is way better for gaming while the Samsung tab s9 FE is better for software editing and work, i recommend going with the samsung tab s9 FE as it's cheaper, has more value and better speed rates and can game well, if you're planning to buy a tablet go with the samsung tab S9, it struggled with games because the version i brought is a no sim one. Buy the one with a sim although it's 100 pounds expensive it's way better as the speed is unmatched.

Guys my ipad 2 bought 2011 or 2012 is still working. It doesn't get updates anymore but dang that shows how sturdy those things are despite me dropping it a thousand times or more during its lifetime. I can still use it as a form of ereader and play old games. I think tech nowadays gets obsolete real quick so just buy what is in the budget and does the job.

I really like the S-Pen. DeX is very underrated, and even Samsung doesn't promote it very well. In genera lines I like the tab S line very much.

I’m a big fan of DeX. However, I only use it very occasionally on my phone. I’m a Samsung/Android fan, but Samsung can’t compete with Apple with $300ish entry level iPads, so I got an iPad 9th gen. If Samsung was able to close the gap, I’d love a tablet that I can use Dex on natively.
Also, why did Samsung remove USB-C external display connectivity on the S9 FE that was included on the S7 FE, pretty lame.

This is a useful comparison video. I've had my feet in both iPad and Samsung camps for several years now. I currently have a 2018 iPad 6. I take this to work. I also have a 2022 11inch iPad Pro, but it rarely leaves the house. This supplements my MacBook Air. I have an old Samsung A7...Still works well. I also have a Galaxy Tab A7 lite. However, I'm looking for a replacement for my 2018 iPad, and I like the look and form of the FE. The expandable memory is a deal breaker for me.

@GEN_Z_shots my iPad 6 (2018) has been my workhorse since I bought it. I take it to work with me. It's a solid, reliable tablet. My iPad Pro compliments my M1 MacBook Air. I bought the Tab S9FE to replace my 2018 iPad. I would say that the FE sits between my old iPad and iPad Pro in terms of functionality. Having said that, the S Pen is so much useful that my expensive Apple pencil.

The very limited storage is a major deficiency and the low refresh non-laminated screen is too much reflective and slow. I bough the S9 FE and is so much better that I can reccomend it x10 times over the iPad

Really? I saw both side by side at a store today and the S9 FE's display had too much green hue and did the typical LCD brightness shift. While I must say the 90Hz is way nicer and the S9 looked a little brighter too. I'm usually a Samsung/Android customer but the iPad does much better imo. I only need it for note taking and schoolwork so storage isn't a big issue for me.

After 2 hours ownership I took it back. Samsung 9s FE was not capable of connecting an external monitor. For a Zwift rider connecting via C to HDMI to a 32 inch monitor, this was a deal breaker. Bought an I-Pad air.

What I care about S9 FE that it has 90hz display, included s pen, better UI and multitasking, and for me I'm an Android/Windows user.
iPad 10 is better in terms of raw power and longevity, so it is a little confusing which option is better, but the 60hz is a deal breaker for me.
If S9 FE had a better chip it would be a very easy choice.

@@any8574 I don't think S9 FE will last that long, and ipad 10 isn't much good for note-taking, so I think you should go for the standard tab S9 or ipad air (or pro if you can afford it), the iPad should last longer, but samsung has better multitasking and some other features (oled display and 120hz comparing to the air), so it is your choice

I'm watching this with my tab s9 fe 6/256. The only thing I hate is that this tab is lagging often even when switching between apps and opening settings. It's because they put exynos rather than snapdragon.

You made the right choice Sir. It doesn't make sense to pay that price for 64 GB storage which isn't expandable and will get full within a couple of months. In 2024 selling 64Gb in base models is very much like a daylight Robery. It's very unfortunate to see that Apple gets away with these malpractices because of their "common sense deprived" fans.

The GalaxyTab is a logical choice considering that the iPad has a useless 64GB storage in this day and age, doesn't come with a pen, and has a 60Hz refresh rate. However, there are concerns about the fluidity of the animation on the Galaxy Tab.
90hz on galaxy tab is useless too, you only use it for scrolling social media since you can't even get 60 fps in gaming
64 gig isn’t enough. You anyone feels like this isn’t enough. You’re right it isn’t enough and don’t say “I can work it out”. You’re basically saying you want to spend an extra hundred bucks (trust me I know it since you’ll buy the case, maybe a pencil to /and or a keyboard). Just don’t with any iPad with 64gig. I will go with the s9fe. Its more than enough if you dont plan on playing games like pubg etc its more than capable enough to work for a couple years with note taking and all of that. Besides that. Keep in mind that you safe and 100€ for the pen. Considering that and if you sell it. Youre most likely around 50-60% on the way to a newer model when you do plan on editing and stuff like that. I doubt that you will need it
I have been using tab s9 fe for 3 weeks. If you are going to use the tablet for lectures and taking notes, the experience of taking notes with S pen is 10/10. I also tried my friends' ipad and huawei matepad. You have to buy pen 70$ I didn't like the pen feel of them 5/10. S pen is the top. However, in terms of processor power, Tab S9 Fe is 6.5/10. My suggestion to you is to buy Tab S9 compared to Tab S9 Fe.

watching this from brazil, here are some of the retail prices for ipad 10th gen: 3000brl at the lowest and 5000brl on most stores. And the s9 fe goes from 2500 brl to about 3300 brl. You could absolutely get a killer deal on both depending on the model available
The huge difference is the pen. with the s9 FE, it’s included. With the iPad, it’s an additional R$670 (cheapest I’ve found for the USBC version)
My Tab S9 FE arrived today...wow! It's a real upgrade on my 2018 iPad, that's for sure. I like the S pen. So far, so good. I won't be pushing this tablet to its limit. However, it perfectly supplements my other gadgets.

Bro current prices in INR . 26k for S9 FE on Amazon , 29k for S9 FE+, 39k for S9 and 54k for S9+ on Flipkart .
It’s a difficult comparison. iPad performs so strong now and for years to come. It’s just so limited. With tab S9 FE you get so much more done apart from gaming, but the processing power isn’t that great now. After 2-3 years it might be quite horrible. I’d choose iPad 9 instead of either of these, unless I’d really need to use the pen 😅

I just got my s9 FE and love it, but I've never been an Apple person, nothing against it, I just like Android. Pretty much personal preference I guess.
Can you tell me an update experience about s9fe after 7 months as I'm also thinking of buying one but they say that it's not worth it in the long run as it's cpu doesn't age well😢

I live in Italy and this tablet cost 500€ while the S9fe+ costs 600€ but before it was 700€, the iPad cost 400€ for the 64GB storage and the 128GB cost 600€.
Tab S9 FE 256gb in Mexico is for sale at $325, it includes the pen and the case, the iPad 64gb is $399.95, it includes nothing. The tab s9 fe 256gb is cheaper than the 128gb.

I've got an iPad Pro 2017 and it's still working like charm, no lags at all. Samsung tablets have way better multitasking and file management though.

Not a fan of apple software
Got S9FE at 380$ base model with 128gb storage , mainly for note taking and casual gaming
Has free S pen which works forever without any charge
Insane multitasking features , great display and microSD card support.
For comparison , iPad 10th gen base model was 480$ which had like 64gb storage only , no Expendable , and Apple pencil needs to purchased separately and even apple pencil alternative costs like 25$ so total would have been 500$.
If you really want IPad for similar price , iPad 9th Gen 256gb variant was available for same price as 10th gen base model.

I'm from Mexico and got a refurbished Tab S9 FE+ 12/256gb for around $6600mxn (about $330 usd).
The only difference was the box being slightly damaged but the device looked perfectly fine surprisingly, no aesthetical damages whatsoever. And it also came with the book case as well which is a big bonus for me.

Hi! I'm about to purchase a tablet for university. I study chemical engineering and planning on using it mostly for note-taking, videos and homework making. I have friends that state that Ipads are much better but also that the apps for it are a little limitated and for note taking i might have to purchase apps too. They say that samsung tablets are not as powerful so im really confused on my election, mostly because both look really similar to me and im scared on making the wrong choice. My phone is a motorola so i have no preferal for either brand. Please, could you help me choose?

Depends on your use, the iPad may have a much better chip but the Tab a9+ has 90hz, expandable storage, the screen is great even though some may say it isn't and Samsung's Oneui is far more superior in my opinion. I owned an iPad 8 since its launch and the storage and os limitation is frustrating, but the Tab a9+ is cheap and very smooth even due to its chip.
Since I'm not planning to play game on a tablet (just art) I really think the Galaxy Tab S9 FE is a way better deal (especially when apple fazes out their products super quickly...)

I am from Malaysia. I was considering a lot before getting a tablet (because this is my first tablet and I want it to be worth the value). I was considering iPad 10th gen 256GB storage and Samsung S9 FE with storage of 256GB. The price for the iPad is RM2.4k and samsung s9 FE is around RM1.8k. However the iPad doesn't come with a stylus pen, which I need to spend another RM500-RM600, which I can get samsung s9 FE+ which include with a stylus pen and the RAM is 12GB for 256GB storage. In the end, I chose Samsung tablet over iPad

@@fizaasat Hi. I think it should be able to do all those basic office tasks. But if you want better experience, you should go with S9 or S9+. Since I am using for online reading, story writing and learning how to draw digitally, s9 FE should work just fine 🙂 samsung tablets may have higher price compare to other China brand tablets e.g. the OPPO, Honor etc, probably those China brands have better specs than Samsung tabs at cheaper price. 😀 I am actually a fan of Samsung products for years, so it's easier to sync this tab with other samsung device
Trade in should be considered as well. I just got a tab s9 fe 256bg for $196 that included tax. When you factor in how much the 256gb iPad will cost plus the cost of the pen is it still worth it?
I’m still happy for my iPad 9th Gen still good and zippy for the next 2-3 years, although I will purchase an iPad 10 for my daughter as a Christmas gift for her college use. All good 😊

I’m in the market for a secondary tablet to use for media consumption and Kindle reading. Right now I have the Tab S7 FE, but it’s way too big and I want a more portable tablet (especially since the tablet is gonna come with me on holidays). I’m torn between the **Galaxy Tab S9 FE, the iPad 10 and the iPad Mini 6,** all the closest ones to fit my needs….and all with very similar specs, hence why it’s hard to choose. @@faccezitCroc The Galaxy Tab S9 FE is exactly the one I chose -- while I prefer iPadOS over One UI (and the iPad 10 has the same screen size of the Tab S9 FE), the iPad 10 and iPad Mini would stretch my budget quite a bit....plus with the Tab S9 FE copying/transferring files will be seamless....and the tablet being on sale on my local Amazon doesn't hurt either. I'll likely purchase my Tab S9 FE this week-end.

I’ve already decided I’m done with tablets (I return my iPad mini 6 like this week, and trust me I already know what you need to know.) and while i find tablets fitting for my budget and maybe future I don’t see a tablet as a need but more of a cool spec. If I do end of getting a tablet it’s going to be the Tab S9 FE. Bc it does everything I need to. And I find the water resistant fitting. Trust me you wouldn’t have find the iPad mini 6 WORTH IT.
@@faccezitCroc I would, and I did - I used to have an iPad Mini 6. I sold because the screen was too small to really enjoy media (it was absolutely PERFECT for reading ebooks though), which is more of a personal taste, but other than that the Mini 6 was and IS TOP-NOTCH.
@@LucienSabre yea it seems like a cool Ecstatic. Originally or maybe the only intention of the iPad mini is just for portability. I realized that the iPad mini and bc of IpadOS. It wouldn’t work. It WOULD work but that would mean a loss of more money or time. Not worth it. At least to me. And for what it’s worth. And price.
I think the brightness difference is also worth mentioning. Important when using outdoor or in airports.

I prefer the Samsung model, is better; more storage, size, S pen included, sound quality, etc. I study music too and I have the S7 FE model and It's great, actually in Samsung notes there's an option to write in staff music template

Price info from finland: tab s9fe 128gb model is 580€ and ipad 10 64gb model is 600€ (800€ if you want the 256gb model of the ipad at which point you should just pay 900€ and get the base model tab s8. Samsung is the obvious choice here.

iPad 10 is 2-3x more powerful , better cameras, a 4:3 ratio screen which is better for everything apart from videos, video output to another screen via HDMi and slightly higher resolution, more premium build quality. Apple has software support for longer than Samsung.
The tab S9 fe has 16.10 screen which better for video, ip68 dust and water resistance, higher storage which is expandable, pencil included which doesn’t need charging, slight better speakers and the screen is laminated
So there are pros and cons to each tablet, but both are very good. It’s not a matter of one being vastly inferior or superior.
Current prices in Australia S9 FE 128gb : $594 AUD (Amazon) , IPad 10: 64gb $647 256Gb $897 AUD (Amazon).
In Spain, right now: S9 FE (6Gb + 128Gb + Wifi): 449€ (on sale in amazon) -- Ipad 10 (64Gb + Wifi): 435€ (on sale in Amazon too), but the 256Gb version is 634€... It's a big difference. 😐

Can't recommend the Tab S9 FE. Uprading from the 6th generation iPad, I bought the S9 FE and had to exchange it for another brand new one a week later. The Wifi would disconnected every 15 minutes or so and I could never get higher than a 360p resolution on TH-cam (which I use tablets as an alternative to having a TV). The fingerprint scanner rarely worked, either. The new one works only slightly better. Wifi still dropping, but not as often. Still can't get higher than a 480p resolution onTH-cam, either app or web-based.
I really want to like this tablet. I love the S Pen, One UI 6 layout, but it's being way outperformed by my 6th gen entry-level iPad and 8 year old ThinkPad. As much as I want to leave Apple, I may trade this in for a 256gb iPad 10. Even typing this was really clunky and laggy.

I think the s9 fe might be a better pick considering your requirements. The s pen does not need to be charged for note taking so you dont need to think about charging one additional device. It has a better aspect ratio for watching movies and has dex support for multitasking as well. Also you get the s pen in the box which you don't on an ipad and the s9 fe has better base storage option with the advantage of an sd card expansion. In my opinion, as long as you don't plan on gaming on your device, the s9fe is a much better deal and will cost you cheaper generally

Galaxy tab s9 FE is our choice. I just return my iPad mini 6. And I know this isn’t the same but I also do drawings. And just it’s not worth buying an extra expensive pen for the apple device. At that point get the iPad Air for refurbished.
If your looking between the Tab s9 FE or IPad 10. Get the Tab s9 FE. Dex and SD card will give more advantages to a more pc feel as well. And the tab s9 FE will last long. And there is good drawing apps on android if your concern. I use IBIS paint for all my drawings. And photos can are seamless on android especially if you have an android phone.

Im using the samsujg tab a7 from the past 2.5 years it does have performance issues but serves my purpose of web browsing and watching youtube. It just cant run games but has a laminated display which is a really good display tbh
From India: Apple iPad with the Pencil is USD 450. Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE with S-Pen included is USD 320, after all discounts. I just need a note-taker and drawing applications, so the Samsung was a no-brainer choice for me.

I really wish Samsung would take notes from Apple and use Last gen Flagship chipsets rather than gimped mid range chipsets which act as a heavy bottleneck imo.

I'm from Sri Lanka and the Tab S9 FE 6gb 128gb wifi version costs around LKR 100000. The iPad 10 4gb 64gb wifi costs around LKR 130000
I've been contemplating on this one, but buing an iPad doesnt include an Apple pen, so thats another 100 to $120 bucks on you depending on your region, on the other hand, buying an S9 FE would have you a free Spen inside the box, and as of writing, theres also a free keyboard along upon delivery.. which apple would also have you shell out another $200, I do hate comparing these devices on gaming performances, theres a ton of people out there where literally dont use their devices for gaming, but yeah, aside from the items that I just said.. that 64gb base model of the iPad actually bears you some more archaic questions "WHY?" at this day and age, putting a 64gb on an non-expandable storage device would just force you to subscribe to iCloud, trust me, i know, I own an M1 MBA 256gb base model, and an iPhone 13 Pro, just bought my wife a base model iPhone 15 few months back and this is the reason im looking for reviews for these two, diving in full apple ecosystem basically means shelling out for their services for the long run.. I just want a tablet that I can write and draw, my Old Galaxy Note 10+ is bound to be passed to my daughter as her first phone, so Im really trying to rationale whether to just go full blow apple eco, or maybe i'll give samsung a bit love again on their tablet segment..

Picking up my tab s9 fe tomorrow, been contemplating between ipad 9/10 and the FE for days now. Been leaning more towards the FE because I use samsung phone so I don't need the extra charging brick and the expandable storage is a win for me. I use an iphone and a Samsung’s laptop, i like apple more than i like Samsung, but I’m really considering getting the S9FE, it already comes with the S pen, more storage and plus, it’s cheaper.
SPEN performance is on par with apple pencil, unlike apple pencil, tempered glass protector won't effect the performance of S-pen. If you lost the pen, S-pen is cheaper to replace.

Hi, i am currently looking for a tablet prefer under $400 for mainly watching shows and browsing . I am currently undecided between the ipad 10.9 10th generation (2022) or the samsung galaxy s9 fe. I currently have the ipad air 2 which i have had for 9 years but it’s almost damaged completel. Life span of the device is important and screen viewing qualit. I am a little more in favor of an android over and ios cause i like downloading apks.
