I have the tab s7+ (and have had it for the past 8 months) and can say full-heartedly that it's an amazing machine and you won't regret it. I had the m1 ipad pro (11" with 1tb and 16gb of ram) for a few weeks but ended up returning it because I still prefer the tab s7+ for its screen, multitasking and Samsung dex. I'm also 6'2 with large hands so keep that in mind reading my comment.
@@cobaltblue5523 Hello i have same problem with the other guy, but i also going to use the tablet for university. I wont be using the tab for high end drawing, bcs im a Business Management student. Do you think i should wait for S8 or s7 ?
Since I'm a student and the S7 and S7+ start at 600€, I'm going with the S7 Fe. The big display is very useful when it comes to taking notes or other activities for school, in that case I don't need 120Hz or a AMOLED display. The S7 Fe isn't designed to be a high perfomance gaming tablet, rather it's a budget friendly tablet for people like me, which use their device to take notes or work.
I absolutely love my Tab S7 FE! I'm an average user going from an iPad Air which Apple refuses to further update anymore. I wanted a larger tablet and that's what I got. I'm not some graphic designer, nor hard-core gamer, but it works absolutely well for what I need. Email, web browsing, bill paying, TH-cam, etc., all run well. When I Bluetooth my devices to it, it works well! Costs were also a factor. All in all, I got exactly what I wanted. A larger tablet! 👍🏾💯🤩
This is perfect, had some questions. I am coming from a Galaxy tab S2 which is now dying when it hits 30%. I use my tablet 99% of the time for watching movies and videos on downtime. What do you think of coming from the tablet I have to the FE?
As someone who's been using Samsung's super amoled screens for almost 10 years, I really wanna know how noticeable the difference is between the s7 and the s7+ display quality.
tough question to answer because it's subjective. It's noticeable for sure if you have them side by side, especially in the blacks; and the color is better. However, if you only gave me the S7, the display looks great. Hope that makes sense.
The display is the thing I like the least about the S7, which is not to say that it's bad. It pales in comparison to an AMOLED, but it's still great for what it is and I doubt most people would notice the difference.
I went with the S7 FE since it was on sale for $240 off. The price difference here in Canada between both the S7+ and S7 against the price of the FE is just too much lol. The 128gb with the 6gb of ram wifi version is perfect for my usage and I’m very satisfied with it.
Wait what, even on sale right now all the samsung s7 fe cost 429. So can u tell me where to get one for even 200 to 380. Plus if possible can u tell me where to get a samsung s6 and not the lite version under 400. And make sure it is not used. Thanks!
I just ordered today, I got even better deal with student pricing. But here in Quebec it's 15% tax which is insane compared to some other province (such as Alberta). And it will take a lot of time to ship bcz of high demand
I eliminated the FE the moment I learned it's a 60hz display. The 120hz tablet displays, once you use them even once, you just can't go back. So much more responsive.
I'm quite happy with my Tab S7, I bought it before going on a trip last summer. The battery life has been pretty phenomenal. The main gripe with the S7+ was the price and the in display finger print scanner which Samsung have a pretty bad reputation for at the moment. The capacitive scanner on the S7 works flawlessly.
@@Abderrahmane_rochdi I would describe the display as "decent." Samsung makes some brilliant AMOLED panels that'll have nicer colors and deeper blacks. My Oneplus 8T has a display like that and it's superior to the one on the Tab S7, but not to the point that I'd rather watch a video on my phone. Personally I think they struck a good balance with this display. I have my color setting set to "natural."
@@slowgirl2699 I use it to take notes in my math class. It's pretty compact. I sometimes wish I had gotten the larger screen S7+, but it gets the job done. I only use about 10% or less battery in my 75minute math class. You can find them cheaper on eBay now that the Tab S8 is out.
I took the debate of the two, I went for the s7 FE due to it being £450 here in the UK and I also managed to get the keyboard case for free on a promotion overall saving £200 for me, I would have enjoyed a higher refresh rate screen but then I realized battery life would of suffered because of that, and it's ended up being an amazing tablet!
It is always a bit strange with the pricing. - tab s7 fe goes for around 70000 ISK - tab s7 goes for around 105000 ISK - tab s7+ sells for 130000 ISK so the FE is the cheapest, by quite a margin with the 7+ costing nearly twice as much. I would recommend the FE for students, if they really MUST have a tablet anyway, the S7 for people that need a high powered mobile tablet .. and the s7+ version for those that .. for some reason .. want the best and do not care about the money (and they are likely to buy the next "best" thing a year later anyway) the FE is the most practical option that satisfies 99% of anyones needs. edit: mind you, if you buy Ebay or used/refurbished .. all can be thrown out of the window anyway. But in that case, i would probably look for the s7+, too .. as a used s7+ will still beat a new FE in terms of price.
Wow I just know the official pricing in the US. In my country, Malaysia the pricing for the tabs are: S7+ (256GB) = USD 1092 S7 (128GB) = USD 784 S7 FE (128GB) = USD 522 So for me I think the S7 FE is the most worth to buy here than the other tablets because of the price difference and other factors.
Same situation in my country. You can get the S7 FE LTE with a keyboard cover for what equates to $300 less than the S7. Add discount onto that and it becomes a massive contender
The bump in price from the S7 to the S7+ is £160 (with cashback taken into consideration) in the UK. Your reviews of these tablets helped me realise that I couldn't justify the extra cost for what I wanted to use it for, so I went for the cheaper option.
I have a choice between getting the S7 from CEX Grade A for £370, or buying a new S7FE from samsung store for £450, do I go Used? the S7 new is on sale for £519 but i cant justify spending over £500 on a tablet for what im wanting it for. Cex also offer 24month warranty, and returns no questions asked for the first 30day. Downside is it wont come with the pen so i would have to buy that separately.
@@michaelsMW2movies I guess it depends on what you're going to use the tablet for. The S7 has a better processor and better display but also has a smaller screen - and in your case it will be cheaper but also won't come with an S Pen. The S7 FE has a bigger screen but a slightly slower processor and a display that is inferior to that of the S7 for a higher price, but its going to come brand new and you won't have to invest in the S Pen. I guess many will say go with the S7 even though it is used, but you might say the larger screen and the included S Pen on the S7 FE are far more important than anything else.
@@michaelsMW2movies To be honest, I'm glad I got an S7 because it's a sweet spot in price compared to the other models and the extra screen size would make the FE and S7+ cumbersome for me
I'm a professional musician, and I was looking for a tablet to read music on. I went with the S7 FE because I just needed the larger display and not really a fast processor to work on. Plus, the S Pen is really useful for marking up my scores, and I can send those "edited" scores to other people and they will get all the markings that I made on my score. Plus, here in Mexico, the S7 FE is at a lower price than both the S7 and S7+.
@@nunomrsilva Honestly, I just use Adobe Acrobat Reader and mark up the PDFs with the "commentary" feature using the s pen. It's not the most music-friendly app to use, and the palm rejection is basically non-existent, but I haven't had the time to try other apps.
I've had the tab s7+ for the past year and let me tell you one thing, it's great but it comes with a massive downfall. Watch where and how much pressure you put on the screen I was placing mine down to charge and then bam pixels went through the middle of the screen. The screen never cracked but it still cost £280 to fix and was not covered under warranty.
I would like to see the same size of the ipad because i just dont like it when the sides are far from the number of the other cus i like how the ipad is built the 12.9 one was great
I bought the FE version in part based on your reviews of it so I was surprised it got eliminated but I still think it's the best value. I really like that the pen does not need to be charged the keyboard cover is very nice to use. Although the screen and audio don't seem as good when compared to the others, they are still more than adequate. I do agree that the price is still a bit high and had I waited probably could have picked it up for $100 less at some point.
Loved the side view cam that you included (1:18) in every reviews of yours because we're able to see how big or small the devices if we put ourselves in your shoes. Very helpful 👍
Bought my S7 FE like half a year ago and I'm super satisfied with it. The budget wasn't an issue for me but I didn't want an AMOLED screen since it hurts my eyes. Also, at the shop I brought it at, it came with a free Samsung Bluetooth keyboard lol. I use it for work, uni, drawing, note taking, reading, watching movies and vids etc. The battery lasts me 2 days if not more and sometimes I even forget I have a laptop lol. The only con for me is that the Spen doesn't come with extra nibs. I don't use it for gaming that much, only occasionally play some NFS, so I kinda don't need a better processor, and the one this tablet has is enough for smooth performance and multitasking. Also, the sound is just like honey to my ears.
I have the tab s7 for 7 months already and never regret buying it. I feel like 11inch is just right for me, the screen is beautiful, works really great, and I appreciate the 120hz which looks a lot better than 60hz on tab s7fe.
I just picked up the S7 FE 256 gb 8 gb ram for 549.00, i wanted to shell out for the S7 + 512 bg and 8gb ram, but the pricing is to high for my comfort. I think I will be happy with the FE for what I plan on using it for.
A S7 user here, sometimes i do regret by not buying the larger version, but i do consider i did a very good purchase for the price of 550 bucks. 120hz are now a standard for me so FE is not an option anymore. But definitely i will change this little beefy for an Tab S9 plus.
Oh wow, thanks for sharing this. I'm a digital artist, and I'd recently been making a slow and steady switch from my desk top and a wacom intuos tablet due to the lack of portability and no access to my favorite art app which is only on mobile. I started looking around, and originally I was pointed into the direction of the FE for awhile, but due to being a minimum wage, fast food worker who's lucky to see even 40 hours per paycheck, it was out of my reach, so I'm having to stick back. Now that I know that the FE is just a watered down version of the other 2 options, just packing the bigger size of screen, I will definitely consider just sticking back the money and getting an s7 plus.
I have had the Tab s7 for a while and wow. In my opinion I'm a technician I thought the S7+ would be to costly to repair they are like 350ish for parts. I also game at work and the s7+ would have been way to bulky at work. The reason the bigger screens have bigger batteries is because screens use up more battery. When I was a phone salesman my Samsung rep told me battery size on a bigger phone was just an up sale talking point.
Really interested in the FE to use with dex. These seem to cost less than the S7 now. How does the FE perform with Dex in mind with the lower tier CPU? Is the S7 much better and it may be worth paying a bit more? I don’t mind either screen size.
Given that the s8 is supposedly right around the corner, do you suspect prices on these models to drop further? I'm looking to get either the s7 or s7+ but am willing to hold off for a potentially price drop
You're literally the first review I've seen that mentioned FE being priced higher than regular S7, maybe it's just me who happened to miss them but as a fan of the Tab S6 Lite, I was really under the impression that the FE was their "budget" option among the three. I won't be surprised if any casual consumers would get mistaken as I did haha.
@@brittanyparker9019 Glad I'm not alone haha. I feel like it's definitely taking inspiration with the naming of base ipad < ipad air < ipad pro but it's def confusing when it's not how it works with their phones and they really should've named something like "Tab S7 FE 12.4 inch" like their Tab A lines that named them with screen sizes.
I bought the tab s7 FE for just a few very specific reasons over the Plus that doesn't include price. First, I always have a lot of trouble with Screen Burn In on Oled displays, and I prefer a larger screen, FE is larger than the regular s7 and won't burn in, so that was a no brainer for me. Second, the 60hz refresh and slightly lower res is going to save a lot of the battery life especially when watching movies and such when a high refresh is not needed, opposed to the s7 which has a Fixed 120hz refresh rate. so it should out perform on battery life in most departments. Third, I am an Artist and I notice that Samsungs Samoleds colors aren't true to print and true to life. So when I draw something, the print always looks vastly different on samoled, FE and s7 11" don't have this issue. LCD is also a much cheaper and easier replacement than Samoled. The downsides for me is not having a Flashlight, I don't use the camera much. But I do use the flashlight at work a lot, so I'll still have to pull put my phone for that. And you might miss the 2 extra speakers, but honestly without having something to compare the FE speakers to in person, you will be very happy with the sound. Last is the Processor, which runs apps perfectly fine, maybe just not as Super Fast as the other 2, but it works just fine for just about everything, just make sure to get the WiFi model. If you need lte then just run it off the Hotspot of your phone, you'll never need an LTE tablet again. FE is still most definitely a great buy in 2022 for $350usd.
I am really considering to buy the s7 FE. I am a medical student and i take a lot of notes. I am afraid that the processor isnt good enough to be able to process my writing quickly enough. In your experience, while writting or in this case drawing, does it process quickly enough or does it give u a "lag" between the drawing and the screen?
@@vascoleonardo2368 Not at all, its perfect. Like really. Buy it you wont regret it at all. The Latency is the word youre looking for, and the latency is the same on all 3 tablets. I even started playing heavy games on my FE and it still holds up just fine. Im impressed.
@@vascoleonardo2368 I write and draw extrenely fast and it never has a problem at all. Also, handwriting into text works great. It transcribes evry single letter. I would say to buy the wifi version only for the better processor, but these processors are very good technology. Not low end by any means.
I had been using s7+ for almost a year, and I am totally satisfied with the tablet... bought 128gb storage and 6gb ram only model available in indian market with cellular version and got it for 77000inr (appx 1040$). Still works like buttery smooth in any condition.
Having the regular S7 , I sometimes miss not having a larger display but Having a more portable option and navy blue color for less than 500 really works for me. Wonderful tablet.
I'm planning to go for the S7FE (6gb ram LTE variant). The S7 is no longer available, S7+ costs over $1000 (LTE variant) here in India. Any other options?
I love my Tab S7 Plus. Sounds amazing & 1440p resolution is great! No need for Bluetooth speakers with the 7+. I have a portfolio case but I need a keyboard case now. Definitely have a place install a glass screen protector on it.. Most places like Best Buy will install bubble free for $7. Definitely worth it
Trying to decide between the S7 and S7+, but I just can't bring myself to trust any OLED screen with the elephant in the room which is eventual screen burn (especially after having seen some OLED's with screen burn). An OLED display may be good for some time with a better picture quality experience; but it's dependent on User screen 'on' time and static images used on a daily basis from various apps and so, but the eventual onset of screen deterioration vs LCD which can go on and on with day 1 quality, is what's making it very hard to decide.
Thanks for this useful video! I'm considering getting the S7 FE as I want the bigger screen because I'll mostly use it for note taking, but the S7+ is out of my price range. Do you think it would be better to get the 64 GB capacity and a micro SD card for more storage rather than pay more for the 128 GB, or will that lower performance?
The 64gb + 4gb should be just fine for your use case. S7 FE is an amazing tablet. No finger print sensor, no vibration motor and no AMOLED are the only hold backs. The 'BT' S Pen is more gimmick than useful. The basic S Pen is good for 99% tasks. Plus dex runs amazing
Fantastic comparison, I feel other channels haven't pointed out the differences of the screens. It also seems everybody tends to focus on the FE, that by screen alone I would avoid at this point.
I use a tab s7 and it's the best tablet. It's a nice size that can be carried around like a notebook. The s7 was budget friendly for me and a bonus to use the DEX feature
I have been using tab S7 for over a year and I am happy with it. But if I could choose again I am going to pay more and go for tab S7+. the only complain is they removed the 3.5 headphone jet for such a big device and not waterproof. They are not saving component sapce but just because following the non-sense trend.
I think mainly because when retailers put them on the shelves, the S7 and S7 plus actually much more expensive ~ ( 690/ 750) while the S7 FE stands only at about 400ish, which is very reasonable
I have purchased the S7 FE for 450€ some weeks ago (500€ is current lower limit), studying the specs at different places before. My conclusion is that the best choice depends on the needs and the price point, last is significant here in Germany. S7(+) tabs are much more expensive, and beat the S7 FE in every aspect except size. This is OK. The only thing I miss is the fingerprint sensor. I mostly use it for reading, photos, videos and casual games. The display quality and audio is fine for me. Battery lasts much longer than a day for me. I recommend to check it out in a shop, if you are not sure. The video is entertaining, but I think that this video would not help me to find the best option, the emphasis on pricing (even if this is official for US location) is not appropriate for an international audience with other (street) prices. I would like to see videos even more putting an emphasis on needs, and not technical technical numbers, answering the question: What is enough for me? The FE was released much later than original S7s, I hope that OS support ends later according to Samsung's new support policy. Android 12 support is announced for 2022.
I've had the regular Tab S7 for about 11 months now (256gb and 8gb model) and all I can say is this: Though many people prefer the tab S7+ and the tabS7+ FE, because of its size and more features. Don't count out/sleep on the regular Tab S7. Yeah, it doesn't have the OLED display, but I actually like the LCD on the regular one. Multitasking and Samsung Dex became such a fun one for me to use, since I've never used multitasking with Apple Ipads. It's an amazing device for gamers/ casual performing, and media consumption as well.
I like the 7 but brought the 7FE because of the screen size. I use my tablet to watch international TV shows and sports with my vpn. Sometimes the Firestick does not give me the best experience with my vpn watching international sports/TV shows. I also use my tablet to beat the NFL/Yahoo app to watch out of market games. NFL games look amazing on the FE. Especially because I'm beating the NFL. No buffering on the NFL/Yahoo app.
I am having trouble choosing between a S6 Lite and a S7 FE, both with 64GB + 4GB of ram. The S6 Lite costs $270 in my country, while the S7 FE costs $420. Both are new and not refurbished. Would it be worth it to pay $150 more just to have a better processor, a slightly bigger screen, and the ability to connect it to a monitor + use as a secondary display? I can't find any new S7 and S7+ for under $500. While I know that my opinion is the most important at the end, I would like to know yours.
I have s7fe and have been okay satisfied, but since I have an s21 ultra with 120hz, I also lack that on my tablet unfortunately. I find its processor too slow for my taste But they have also saved quite a bit on the processor.
I'm using s7 tab since an year and I'm happy with the product except some software glitches or bugs and got the spend not working and needed to spend 2500 rupees to get it replaced
I am preparing for a master's course in university right now and as my employer offers me a laptop to keep on working in home office, i thought a tablet would do for me. I have an extra SIM card with 5G support, so the SIM card slot was important to me. The WiFi just doesn't reach all comfy places here. The S7 costs like 799€ and only offers LTE, the S7+ with 5G is like 1149€, the S7 FE is 649€ , but was often given away for free with new phone contracts around christmas and therefore you can still easily get it for 400-450€. And no matter how exactly the pen works, it's easy to scribble around on PDFs to take notes for work and university, also, 12.4 inches is nearly as large as the usually paper documents, so it is really nice to work with it. The storage is also not important if you can use Micro SD cards. Didn't take me long to choose.
Get the tab s 7 . If you have money get the tab s 7 plus . Don't get the tab s7 fe its terrible value for dollar if you are in the United States due to pricing
I purchased the Tab S7 and after using it for almost a year I really regret not going for the Plus model. Almost all of my usage is media consumption, web browsing and PS5 remote play which would all look better on the Plus model. The reason I went for the S7 was for the portability factor but I noticed that most of my usage was at home anyway.
I just bought s7 fe two weeks ago. Because of the huge discount, I did not trade in and paid $340 for s7 fe 256GB with 8Gb ram. I wanted 8GB ram. And I am very satisfied with it! Note-taking with it make my life easier.
I got the FE for a year now and i can’t complain. I use it every day for all kinds of things. During work it’s my second laptop monitor. After work i use it to game, to watch movies, youtube,…
Tab S7 is the perfect tablet. The size is perfect for a student who is a techy. I love the larger version with the OLED but the display of the Tab S7 screen is perfect even next to my Note 20 Ultra other than darker blacks on the ladder. I use my Tab S7 for gaming as it's way more portable and comfortable to hold while gaming, for note taking in class, and for general use like shopping online or watching videos. I didn't need the bigger version, but I can see why someone would if they watch more movies. For me I have a TV for that, my tab is essentially a extension of my phone and laptop,
I obtained an s7+ in a "lost loot" box that my gf bought for $30. It's an absolute unit. It operates exactly like my note20, which I like. If you're familiar with Samsung and Android you'll love the 7+
I use the large form tablet to s7fe to perform music. The major factor is the weight. It is a pound lighter. Add a folio cover and the s7+ is over 3 pounds. That pound difference is significant at the end of holding it away from your body for up to 2+hours. The screen resolution is fine at the distance, and page turns are smooth and annotating with 6 s pen smooth.
Idk whats up with your pricing of each at the end of the video but the s7 is around $750 now which is weird because why would it go up so much in price?
Boy are those prices outdated now! Not sure what happened, but basically add $200 to each price tag. ... Oops, might be mixing up prices for the 256 GB versions. Either way, I think they're more expensive now.
I bought a Samsung tab 7 and quickly found out that it cold not recognize my laser printer, or my Doss speaker box. I have an older Samsung tab A which was recognized by my
An excellent review. Which of the mentioned tablets would you recommend for a student's needs, taking notes during lectures? The feel of writing is important. On offer are the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ for 825 euros, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ for 719 euros, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE Wi-Fi (T733) Tablet, 4 GB/64 GB, silver + keyboard for 515 euros, or the Tablet SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S7 FE without a keyboard for 449 euros. Maybe some other that would equally fulfill the purpose. I don't have specific graphic requirements, I don't plan on playing games, maybe running MS Word, Excel, PPT, but primarily it would be for taking notes during lectures, later transferring to PDF or Word, sending by email to colleagues, browsing the internet, watching TH-cam. The most important thing is the feel and speed of writing with the stylus without a gap between the pen and the pen trail on the screen. I'm not limited to these tablets; a cheaper option is also welcome, as long as the screen is larger than 11 inches.
In Switzerland Samsung Galaxy S7 659 CHF Samsung Galaxy S7+ 849 CHF Samsung Galaxy S7 FE 499CHF + free book cover and 50CHF Google play store card. So what do you think what is the best deal
Nice video. I have the tab s7 for a couple months, mainly for my college stuff. And I hope Samsung would make something like iPad mini as I feel that the s7 is a bit heavy. Maybe I should switch to iPad mini.
Everybody recently been complaining about the iPad cameras on the long side... but in my experience, if you call someone on their phone, they'll be in landscape, so I guess that's why it's been done. Until recently when tablets have acquired some laptop-replacement features and are used at the desk.
I have an S7 FE two days ago, I can still return it, it feels good with my needs but, I'm just worried that I notice some lag when drawing with the S-Pen, not when I write. To what extent will the processor influence? On the S7 / S7 Plus will it be the same latency with the S-Pen? I have seen some opinions that say that it is exactly the same, others that it is not... In your opinion, what can you tell me about it? The other thing that would be worth noting is the screen at 120Hz in its older sisters, while the FE only 60Hz, I don't know to what extent this can also influence the drawing. Otherwise, I am very pleased with the FE. Here in Spain, it cost me 485 Euros and the S7 is 585 Euros... Do you think that according to what I'm telling you about the drawing, it's worth the extra 100 euros and going for the S7? Thanks! I hope you can reply me and some other opinions will be nice!!!
I prefer s7 fingerprint scanner on the power button (dont like smudge screen) and note taking portability. Though I prefer s7+ bigger screen for drawing area.
@@TechGearTalk it really is. I plan on getting the mystic bronze family lineup in the future 🥰 i wish samsung would release it on their future products as well
on the S7+ will I be able to answer calls from my Samsung ultra 20 phone? I plan to use the tablet in my car and would like to be able to pick up my calls without adding another sim card/service.
If I want something to last around like 5 years for my studies, would getting the Tab S7 be good? Mostly doing notetaking and PDFs and all those school things.
I think you will be good as long as you are careful and have it in some type of case. Maybe have some sort of loss protection on it if you are always on the go at school.
Is it possible to buy an older Galaxy tablet which is no longer eligible for OS updates? If so - how would I find out what those device models would be? Sincere thanks.
Great video! I went from the Tab S4 to the Tab S7+ and the size is taking some getting used to but I'm loving everything else. The diff between devices is like night and day. I do have a question, the first game you were playing (man jumping from cliff to cliff), what is that? I need it! lol
Pretty sure its different in South East Asia. The S7 FE is price at 499$ , the S7 at 699$ and the S7 plus at 999$ or in Malaysia pricing is RM2099 for S7 FE, RM3299 for S7 and RM4599 for S7 plus.
Awesome review!...can you compare the Samsung 360 vs Samsung S7+. Trying to figure out if I should exchange my 360 15inch for a tablet set up. (To move and go to multiple offices)
What was Samsung thinking with the Tab S7 FE pricing!? I mean, if it was around the $329 iPad 9th gen price point, that would be great. But for more than a much better Tab S7, no thank you.
I know I'm late but can you please do a proper Battery Drain Test between the three of these Tablets? Nobody else has made one and it would be so much appreciated by many as we are still buying these s7 tablets as they are much cheaper than the s8 line.
the fe only runs in 60hz if that matters for you and has a weaker processor.and the fe starts at 4gb of ram which is on the low end these days for an android device of its price

The S7 Fe isn't designed to be a high perfomance gaming tablet, rather it's a budget friendly tablet for people like me, which use their device to take notes or work.
I'm planning to buy that too for school purposes. Hope that it would be worth it
You should buy Xiaomi pad then cheaper and better.

I agree, S7 display is an amazing one, it is on the high end LCD display, I have S7 for a year now, and I never regret it. Perfect size for me.
@@zer0pulse156 what do you use it for ?
VERY NOTICEABLE!!! I like the Tab S4 screen better than the S7
That makes so much more sense. Great job!
If only they sell the wifi version in Indonesia, that would be a killer value, really.
Wait what, even on sale right now all the samsung s7 fe cost 429. So can u tell me where to get one for even 200 to 380. Plus if possible can u tell me where to get a samsung s6 and not the lite version under 400. And make sure it is not used. Thanks!
He said it was $240 off and not a price of $240, easy mistake to make also I don't know where you can get a S6 maybe Amazon
AGREE. Deal breaker for me
I'm quite happy with my Tab S7, I bought it before going on a trip last summer. The battery life has been pretty phenomenal. The main gripe with the S7+ was the price and the in display finger print scanner which Samsung have a pretty bad reputation for at the moment. The capacitive scanner on the S7 works flawlessly.
Is the ltps screen good enough? And if you have a phone with amoled how it compared to it?
@@Abderrahmane_rochdi I would describe the display as "decent." Samsung makes some brilliant AMOLED panels that'll have nicer colors and deeper blacks. My Oneplus 8T has a display like that and it's superior to the one on the Tab S7, but not to the point that I'd rather watch a video on my phone. Personally I think they struck a good balance with this display. I have my color setting set to "natural."
@@Angel-HC is it worth it for college?

@@Angel-HC don't know if ebay is trustful :(
The problem with me is, S7FE cost 429 Canadian dollars, and the S7+ cost 1079 at the moment. It's such a big gap compare to US pricing.
WHOA! That's is not only a huge difference, but also drastically different than in the US
Same issue here. Makes the s7fe way more attractive...also the s7 sits between the two in price now
In Belgium S7 FE 599euro and the S7 699euro
The S7+ is now 750Cad on sale, and S7 is 636cad on sale, the FE is still 429 (408 with SPC discount) (Until dec 31)
I got the S7+ for $790CAD during black friday. 🤗
- tab s7 fe goes for around 70000 ISK
- tab s7 goes for around 105000 ISK
- tab s7+ sells for 130000 ISK
so the FE is the cheapest, by quite a margin with the 7+ costing nearly twice as much. I would recommend the FE for students, if they really MUST have a tablet anyway, the S7 for people that need a high powered mobile tablet .. and the s7+ version for those that .. for some reason .. want the best and do not care about the money (and they are likely to buy the next "best" thing a year later anyway)
the FE is the most practical option that satisfies 99% of anyones needs.
edit: mind you, if you buy Ebay or used/refurbished .. all can be thrown out of the window anyway. But in that case, i would probably look for the s7+, too .. as a used s7+ will still beat a new FE in terms of price.
That pricing makes a lot more sense. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you! This is exactly what I needed.
Wow I just know the official pricing in the US. In my country, Malaysia the pricing for the tabs are:
S7+ (256GB) = USD 1092
S7 (128GB) = USD 784
S7 FE (128GB) = USD 522
So for me I think the S7 FE is the most worth to buy here than the other tablets because of the price difference and other factors.
Thank you so much for sharing! That pricing makes so much more sense. I agree, in that case, the FE is a good option.
Harga dekat malaysia dahsyat betul beza dia kan? Baru seminggu guna FE lepas jual huawei matepad 11

Oh shit, did you have a case on it?? If so thats crazy! And worrisome that it's that delicate

I bought the FE version in part based on your reviews of it so I was surprised it got eliminated but I still think it's the best value. I really like that the pen does not need to be charged the keyboard cover is very nice to use. Although the screen and audio don't seem as good when compared to the others, they are still more than adequate.
The 8 gen 1 has me wet thinking about how much faster it is, especially the gpu
Good job of explaining the differences in these Samsung tablets.

I use the FE, ive had it since it came out and i use it everyday! I enjoy drawing on it and playing various games.
Really interested in the FE to use with dex. These seem to cost less than the S7 now. How does the FE perform with Dex in mind with the lower tier CPU? Is the S7 much better and it may be worth paying a bit more? I don’t mind either screen size.

I appreciate the feedback 🙏🏻
I thought the same since that was how their phone lines were advertised.

My Biggest Advice To any S7 user. Get a screen Protector Right Away. Replacement Screen is not Easy to Come By. Hardly Anyone Wanted To Fix It.
I think the justification of getting the 128GB isn't for the storage, but for the 6GB RAM. 64GB comes with 4GB RAM
Just make sure you get the WiFi. The 5g is short-changing you.

@@arquiel I buy the S7 when it has just been released. What I ment is if turn back time, I would choose s7+ for a larger screen.
Yes I agree. Loved the video but it missed the mark with recommendations sorta.

Decided to go with the FE just for the larger screen and using it with a dock for Dex. Hope I'm not buying twice...
If you spend more time holding it, get the smaller one. If it sits on your desk a lot get the larger

But they have also saved quite a bit on the processor.

I purchased the Tab S7 and after using it for almost a year I really regret not going for the Plus model.
I got the FE for 450 bucks including the Slim Keyboard and a 100 bucks google playstore card. I think this was a good deal for a student.
Shall I wait for the Tab S8 or go for the Tab S7 ???
Should i buy the s7+ at this time or wait for the s8+ to arrive ? What would be a better decision in terms of pricing and features ?
In Switzerland
Samsung Galaxy S7 659 CHF
Samsung Galaxy S7+ 849 CHF
Samsung Galaxy S7 FE 499CHF + free book cover and 50CHF Google play store card.
So what do you think what is the best deal
That makes a lot more sense. Now you can actually look at the features, decide what's important to you, and pick with a budget in mind.
Sorry, please does any of the tablets have a slot for sim cards ???
And how do I connect an ear piece if I want to ??
Is there a screen protector you recommend for the s7 plus
I am currently watching it from my tab S7 fe,
I have had s6 before,
I am very satisfied with my tab S7 fe, even though it is TFT,
How is the display quality?
@@balanibakits6488 display is good, S7 fe softer
While s6 display is bright (amoled)
No issue at all for me,
Nice video. I have the tab s7 for a couple months, mainly for my college stuff. And I hope Samsung would make something like iPad mini as I feel that the s7 is a bit heavy. Maybe I should switch to iPad mini.
I think a competitor for the iPad Mini is a great idea!!!
Everybody recently been complaining about the iPad cameras on the long side... but in my experience, if you call someone on their phone, they'll be in landscape, so I guess that's why it's been done. Until recently when tablets have acquired some laptop-replacement features and are used at the desk.
Please suggest which one is more kind to eyes, I have sensitive eyes. Starring at screen gives a lot of eye strain to me.
Wanted to get the 7+ but its 400usd more than the FE here in Philippines. FE is fine for normal use.
Oh wow, that's a big difference
@@TechGearTalk Its 800USD here actually and the S7+ is 1200USD hahaha. Would you mind sending me the S7+ as a gift for my bday on Sunday? lol
Still want the S7+ in mystic bronze ❤️🥺
That's a great color!
@@TechGearTalk it really is. I plan on getting the mystic bronze family lineup in the future 🥰 i wish samsung would release it on their future products as well
Please help:
iPad 9 or Samsung Tab S7???
Thanks for the info
on the S7+ will I be able to answer calls from my Samsung ultra 20 phone? I plan to use the tablet in my car and would like to be able to pick up my calls without adding another sim card/service.
If I want something to last around like 5 years for my studies, would getting the Tab S7 be good?
Mostly doing notetaking and PDFs and all those school things.
I think you will be good as long as you are careful and have it in some type of case. Maybe have some sort of loss protection on it if you are always on the go at school.
The battery should definitely last. I always bring a power bank with me if I’m worried. Hope that helps.
I enjoyed your video and gave it a thumbs up. you were easy to understand with great knowledge of the items. keep up the good work.
I need it! lol
I believe it was Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
Short question. Do you know if I can also use a second screen with a cable? I don't have that much data volume, so it would be very helpful
Yes - I use it with a cable. Regardless - it wouldn’t be using data. Hope that helps.
Ok so i can use a hdmi from my Laptop to USB C to my tablet and can use the tablet as a Second screen? What do you mean with it needs no data volume?
I'm very happy of my tab S7+ it's definitely worth the price for what I use it for ❤️
Pretty sure its different in South East Asia. The S7 FE is price at 499$ , the S7 at 699$ and the S7 plus at 999$ or in Malaysia pricing is RM2099 for S7 FE, RM3299 for S7 and RM4599 for S7 plus.
So in Europe, the FE is priced 100 euro less than the S7, and 2/3 of the price of the S7+... what would you take then?
Awesome review!...can you compare the Samsung 360 vs Samsung S7+. Trying to figure out if I should exchange my 360 15inch for a tablet set up. (To move and go to multiple offices)
I'm confused about you mentioning the processing power affecting the performance of Game Pass games. Why would local processing affect a cloud game?
What was Samsung thinking with the Tab S7 FE pricing!? I mean, if it was around the $329 iPad 9th gen price point, that would be great. But for more than a much better Tab S7, no thank you.
It was a little strange to me as well.
