    would putting the peppers on an aluminum foil on the stove be the same as putting it on a grill?

      No, because you want the peppers to char that's what gives it that smokey flavor. The pepper should go directly on the flame, then you peel the burnt skin and slice and add to bacalao

    The bacalao now comes in unsalted bag. No need to use the salted one..
